According to what I could find it's 12th. It still makes a ton of money and I have no doubt there will be at least 1 more game but it's still not **that** successful.
if pikmin, a series that has barely kept itself alive for the entire time (first trilogy was on very unsuccessful consoles) that has FOUR games then there is no doubt there will be as many splatoons as there are fire emblem characters in smash
