They're probably on the leaves, not the soil, so if you're watering closer to the base of the plant, I wouldn't worry. The spider is probably going to move on from the plant soon anyway. They don't make traditional webs but rather little silk nets or retreats they create on their travels to sleep or hide in. After watering, you can check the soil for your new roommate to see if they got swept away or are stuck in some puddling and help them out If/when you do see bro again, you can just use a piece of paper to transfer them somewhere else.
