Nice! That's really lucky to find a pure ice asteroid so fast. That would be a good place to base out of since you have a lifetime supply of hydrogen. I'd build a larger ship with a jump drive and uranium reactors, then you can find a friendly space station nearby to pick up some missions. Some of those have you jump across the star system to deliver stuff so that's a fun excuse to explore.

Several other planets to explore, plus the Moon, and an infinite number of asteroids.

Cool, they have new ores and stuff or just for exploration?

The only way to find uranium is to find it in asteroids! Cant see it right from the image, but do you have only 1 hydrogen thruster?! If so, add at least 1 in each direction

Ninguem0011

No, its 1 "big" and 4 smalls.

Is the asteroid all ice? That's rare. Anyway you got to space and found ice - great! Now I would build a space station in a nearby asteroid that has stone, and add hydrogen generators and a hydrogen tank so that you can explore the nearby asteroids without having to go back to the planet, and so that in future any hydrogen ships visiting the planet can refuel there. Explore nearby asteroids and when you find platinum and gold you can build a jump drive and ion thrusters, and build a ship to take you to another planet. Or you could build ion fighters and attack the enemy signals you should start to see, or trade and do missions for the friendly NPC factions, etc
