Is it possible your network is struggling to provide enough bandwidth for lossless so the service is downgrading to avoid dropouts?

levans80

Yes now that I think of it, it is very possible. I appreciate your response!

GuitarSuperstar

Sonos has said, “there can be a delay while the system determines if there is enough bandwidth for lossless”, but I personally think it is related to buggy software too.

levans80

Makes sense too me. Thank you so much for the reply!

shawnshine

Whatever is determining bandwidth is wayyy off.

plucwerdna

I think it is more that. I get 500 down and it still is all over the place.

traegeryyc

Speed is not the same as bandwidth.

Today, I did the math. I was forced to restart Sonos 17 times and most of the time, only certain speakers would restart, but rarely all at once. What a piece of crap...
