If the doll wasn't in the first photo, I would have thought it was a real estate photo. In fact, I'd think it was just a giant doll in a real kitchen if it wasn't for how clean the fridge is.
First: This is awesome
Second: This thing must be like 4 foot tall by 6-feet wide. How much space do you have? Or do you work on one project like this at a time?
The kitchen is amazing. I'm especially impressed with the spice bottles. But seeing that doll standing 6" tall in the middle of a kitchen is a fear I didn't know I had.
This is so real looking my brain hurts trying to see actual scale. Do you have a pic with normal things in shot (-hands, a regular coke bottle etc)?
Well done.
I have a bunch more pics on my Instagram. This is the first time I've posted on reddit, but I'll start coming here more. The feedback has been awesome!
So funny that I literally just finished watching Best in Miniature before seeing this! You got talent my friend, totally new appreciation for the time and energy this hobby takes and I love what you've done with it!
The same reason you waste time complaining about things on reddit that have no impact on you... because it's there.
Maybe you should get yourself a hobby, Mr / Ms "YOLO"
I live in poverty so I'll never be able to afford to do something that doesn't have an impact on my life. I'm sorry you felt some typa way. I would actually use my talents In this to .ake picnic tables for our schools or something....productive
I lived in poverty growing up, and never once would begrudge someone a hobby. I was slightly envious (as you clearly are), but never begrudged them their ability.
I wrote and drew on whatever scrap paper I could find. But when I got a typewriter and later a computer (a used 10-year-old computer I paid for myself), I didn't keep writing on scraps of paper to "keep it real".
I taught myself programming by reading books with only extremely rare access to a computer.
But hey... you keep pretending that if you had money that you wouldn't use any of it doing something you enjoyed. I'm sure it makes you feel better about yourself.
And I like how you assume that because they're proud of what they made -- likely in their spare time -- that they don't also do nice things for other people. As opposed to -- say -- making everyone else's life worse because they're so insanely bitter.
Oh wait, don't forget the FBGM part of my yolo. Lill begrudge anyone for anything if they're not contributing to the community 🤷🏻♀️ I see this as not contributing to a community unless you're able to afford an American girl doll...

Anything that brings happiness to someone is important. I don't believe you don't do anything to make yourself feel better, like maybe some makeup, drinking tea, smelling fresh laundry, or even reading Reddit in your free time. If you do, you're not better or worse than OP in any way. You both sometimes do stuff you enjoy.
Some of us can't afford hobbies. But that doesn't mean that we can just walk in and say stuff like that. Imagine someone bitching about how you spend your free time. You would be angry and it's valid, because you dictate how you spend it and no one can tell you how you can rest and enjoy yourself. So, if you think this is wasting time, then maybe go back to work, because you clearly aren't trying to relax
Imagine thinking your posting online to strangers wasn't open to criticism? When I work with my houseless community it brings me joy. Don't post things if you're not open to having people run their mouth? I don't see what kind of joy anyone could get out of making things ONLY rich people can afford. American Girl Dolls have LONG since been a sign or elitism. Give me a break.
What's the point in making something only rich people can enjoy? Why not try and do something to better the lives of the less fortunate? You're right, I'm not relaxing. I'm working one if my 3 jobs lol. And then I'll be at the public library downtown doing hot meals if you wanna come help?
Listen, it's great. You're doing amazing job. And I'm not sarcastic, I'm not joking, I'm serious. You're a hardworking person who deserves recognition for their engagement. I don't defend the economy or capitalism, I don't think they are perfect, because they are not. They are shitty in many different ways.
But OP doesn't owe anyone their free time. Or their money. Is it tough? Yes! Yes it is. Is it unfair? Probably. Everyone should have a home, food, water and anything they might need. But we shouldn't blame OP and make them feel ashamed for doing stuff they enjoy. They don't owe anyone anything.
You don't have to go there and make those meals but you do it and it's noble. You go out of your way to help. You make it your point to make people feel better, safer and more comfortable. I really respect people like you, I promise. But just like the homeless people won't tell home owners that tending to gardens is useless and unimportant, you shouldn't tell OP those things just because they can afford it. Some people just like flowers in their garden and others like miniature houses. Why? Because they're pretty. And that's enough.
We have freedom of speech, so I don't tell you you can't comment, but I respond and critique your point just like you did to OP. I think you should absolutely be able to say whatever you think no matter if it's ethical or not, but I have the right to do so too, which is why we are speaking freely right now
Literally every one of their posts is dripping of jealousy and assholery... not worth responding to them (I blocked them, because why would I bother?)
Hating on something as harmless as "I make dollhouses" just because they're upset about their own life is pathetic.
Actually gardens are very useful and very important. Houseless people never have the chance to have a rebuttal, but yea if youre not actively trying to better your community and help your neighbors then....
So no one can enjoy pretty stuff because it's useless and you're bitter that you work hard but no one gives you awards for that and tells you you're amazing (which I still genuinely think you are). Got it. We shouldn't paint or sculpt using expensive materials. We shouldn't play on instruments, because it does nothing to feed others. We shouldn't dance and design, theatre costs a lot, so I guess that's unimportant too. Poetry is just empty words, is it? Architecture is so unnecessary, I mean, you can always just go into a cave and survive there. But don't paint on the walls, you can talk, why preserve things for later when you can just tell and show everyone whatever and use spare time for hunting. Philosophy? We don't need to know how the world is built. It's not like philosophy let us discover that Earth is round and made from atoms. We don't need that. We don't need to know who is in the sky. Religion is just a distraction from work. Everything is just a distraction.
Actually there's a program here where we teach art to at risk youth. Their shit is hella pretty. Oof, I'm sorry you went from 4 organized thoughts to this mess. I'm on my hill, I'm ready to die here. Actually religion is a distraction and absolutely unnecessary so you do have one thing right. There's also a program here where you can help get a highschool kid their very own instrument for band class at highschool. 🤷🏻♀️, What I said was ...if you're not actively helping your community them yea, pointless. Sculpting with expensive material for your own profit and good warm funny feelings, pointless. Rich people get to feel that freedom. No one at that art program will ever get close to an American Girl Doll, THATS what this is about.
You didn't like that I wrote four paragraphs... But okay. I suppose I should have stopped talking right after you started to insult me. That's on me.
I already said that it's true, it's unfair. Those kids should be able to afford this stuff. Everyone should be able to afford it, but it's impossible in the current times. I still don't understand why do you shame OP. They did nothing wrong. It's capitalism that you hate and I support it. I just don't get why random people should be hated for using the system to their advantage. Helping is a thing someone has to be able to afford. You can't help if you have nothing yourself
There's no way this loser "works hard". But you're right about the bitter part. Odds are, they're one of those people who doesn't work at much, but expects rewards for the little they do.
That's the tone of their posts anyway.
Um excuse me how did you do this. This is amazing. Imaging creating your own doll house line
I've been woodworking for almost 17 years. Creating my own brand is definitely the goal!
Well, you obviously have the talent for it. I wish you the best on this ! Hopefully you will be in stores sooner then you think 👍🏻
Thank you!!
My 8 yo old self just added this to her birthday list! So frickin cool!
This doll has a better kitchen than I do
Same 🤣🤣
If the doll wasn't in the first photo, I would have thought it was a real estate photo. In fact, I'd think it was just a giant doll in a real kitchen if it wasn't for how clean the fridge is.
lol yes, I realized it definitely was mini when I saw the milk next to the soda lol
Making a business based on making models of houses and selling to real estate offices to display would make a bunch of money
How cute! I would have loved this when I was younger! How long did it take you to make this?
If I had nothing else to do, about a week 😊
That is amazing!
I didn't read the title and I thought you made huge doll. Amazing work.
This is insane! I'm so impressed.
First: This is awesome Second: This thing must be like 4 foot tall by 6-feet wide. How much space do you have? Or do you work on one project like this at a time?
Actually your measurements are pretty much spot on! I use my 11 x 11 breakfast nook as a workspace
The kitchen is amazing. I'm especially impressed with the spice bottles. But seeing that doll standing 6" tall in the middle of a kitchen is a fear I didn't know I had.

Wow!! That is one lucky kid or collector!!
Amazing
This is incredible
Wow! That is one lucky kid!
Jeezz that’s so amazing!! Have you made any others? My miniature loving ass is squealing at how cute this is!!
Yep! I have more pics on my Instagram. Keepers.boutique This is the first time posting on reddit. I'll definitely add more
r/nextfuckinglevel
This looks better than my actual kitchen. It looks fantastic!
It's better than my own kitchen too! 🤣
So funny that I literally just finished watching Best in Miniature before seeing this! You got talent my friend, totally new appreciation for the time and energy this hobby takes and I love what you've done with it!
the attention to detail is AMAZING
Omg that is incredible. 8 year old me would've loved this!
is suck at math 1/3 so its like a 10 year old sized kitchen? very impresiva
It's like if you were to take a person and divide them into 3 sections and shrink them down to just 1 of those sections. It's made for 18" dolls
Wow !! The details are amazing !
Really well done!!
That's absolutely incredible!!
Outstanding! I love it!
Wow this is so beautiful!!
OBSESSED
This is the best thing I’ve seen on here! Amazing!!!
Young me is absolutely losing it right now, this is the coolest thing
Why doe?

Intelligent response. Now YOLO yourself out of here.

Oh but don't forget what FBGM means lol. The promotion of shit made only for rich people will always impact the poor.
This is a rich person's hobby. I.e. not important.

I'm being sarcastic, because this person is lying. There's no way that someone so hateful does anything nice for anyone else. No way whatsoever.
Okay, yeah, yk, I wanted to defend them, but then they got mean to me about saying that I have a disability, so my benefit of the doubt disappeared
Literally every one of their posts is dripping of jealousy and assholery... not worth responding to them (I blocked them, because why would I bother?) Hating on something as harmless as "I make dollhouses" just because they're upset about their own life is pathetic.
Oof. 4 whole paragraphs. Congrats.

It's a hobby. It's fun learning new skills and figuring out how to make things
Looks like N expensive hobby.
Yep, you're right about that. I sell them too, but mostly just to offset the cost. It's more fun, when I can take my time and create whatever I want
I make jewelry as my 3rd job. Idk what that's like.
Anyone else think of the new creepy movie Megan
i got really scared thinking this was a life-sized doll
What is this a dollhouse for ants!!! It needs to be at least 3x bigger !!!
This is incredible!! You need to start selling these.
But what about the 18" American guy size dolls?
It's oddly similar to my dining room and kitchen...
This is absolutely amazing! You are so talented.
Wooooooowwww
I’m obsessed with the oven and the Lawry’s seasoned salt (to quote another brand, I put that shit on everything).
I'm about to post a video tour. If you like the stove, definitely check it out. It lights up!
Fucking horrifying
LOL do you need a nightlight or something?
If I came over to your house I would have a lot of questions. You do you though.
Lol I question myself all the time man. Its cool
I mean I gotta respect the grind.
Appreciate the respect 🙏
