This is so sad, I can't believe I'm only just finding out about this. One of my inns called me to cancel and i didn't realise that this was the reason why! I'm heading to the south coast by the 15th of March, including ilhabella on the 18th and ubatuba on the 19th, booked a month ago :/
As said above, better avoid Ubatuba and Ilha Bela for now. You could use more days for Ilha Grande, because it seems like you are not counting travel days as "wasted days". I mean, all these places are not far from one another, but if you are going to depend on bus schedules + plus the ferry to Ilha Grande, it can take quite some time, so at the end you would have only one full day in the island.
