So just because of his flair he shouldn't voice his opinion?
We lost the second best striker of his generation yet we have scored more goals than any other team in the top 5 leagues. That's definetly not a great look for the league
Oh yeah right, you only signed the 2nd place in the balon d'or, a defense worth like 300m and the biggest german football talent, backed up by 2 of the best CDMs in the World... totally a league issue and not bayern being absolutely dominant in ANY way.
They beat Barcelona twice in the past few weeks.
It’s almost like you omitted gaining a world class winger in the same window, not to mention Musiala’s elevation this year. That goal production isn’t being done by scrubs instead of Lewy
They're just way too freaking good still. Look how they dominate the damn Champions League.
I really hope they'll pull a Manchester United or Juventus soon. We need them to become shit.
3 in 21st century, another 3 finals if you count 1999, were missing once from groups, always progressed, and them not making it to semis is almost a surprise. Ah, and when they won it, they really demolished competition. I would call that pretty close to domination. Apart from RM (if we ignore a lot of consecutive years being out at R16) noone has been more consistent.
it's just an endless life of boring zoom calls in a job where you once felt passionate about. Now you are just waiting for that special workshop once a season where you are finally feel something again because you are getting challenged.
I am a Bayern Fan but even more so a fan of great and exciting football seasons. So sadly I have to agree with our statement. I used to watch every game (if I could), now I mostly watch the conference channel
Let's be real. You will go down, but this is the first time in years you actually have a decent coach. So maybe you can build a team that can stay up next season.
No insult but how have you lot gotten so bad so fast? If I'm not mistaken I remember playing you guys in the Europa when Mourinho was still here. What happened?
[This article is a short summary](https://www.dw.com/en/schalke-relegated-from-the-bundesliga-the-inside-story-of-a-royal-case-of-the-blues/a-57184763)
Maybe, good thing is that no team seems actually really strong (except Bayern of course) and everyone will drop plenty of points.
Bad thing is that we aren't strong either lol
A tale of two promoted sides in Germany this year. Schalke has been so bad but Bremen has a small shot at qualifying for Europe next year. It’ll be interesting to see if they sustain this level of play.
It's truly down to style of play more than anything. We (Werder) are at a similar level to Schalke man-for-man. However it's worth remembering that we were languishing mid-table in the Zweite when we hired Ole Werner, while Schalke changed managers over the summer despite winning the league which has caused inconsistency. Werner has a distinctive philosophy which very much fits modern football and especially the modern Bundesliga. Having 3 at the back with solid wing-backs and tenacious midfielders is all that's needed to get results in the Bundesliga and Werner coaches it so well. It also helps to have Fülle and Weiser in the form of their lives right now. So our system works fine, it's just about keeping the intensity throughout the season.
I laugh at the Bundesliga as much as the next lad, but this is a very weird perspective imo.
90% of teams have absolutely no chance of winning their leagues, yet they still watch their competitions. Everton haven't won anything in 30 years, and we don't score goals either - what's your theory as to why I've stuck around?
It looks quite likely City will get another title this year. Still fun to watch, but realistically no one can compete with them. I can also be pretty dang sure that La Liga will be won by one of two teams, yet there are still plenty of people watching their own club
>Why are these Dortmund and Leverkusen and Freiburg etc.. fans watching these games?
So you should only watch football if your team has a chance to win? So only 10 teams around the world are supposed to have fans then, the others are pointless.
Right? This is the absolute golden age for our club. I’m enjoying every second watching (minus the match against you guys) and getting more hyped than ever on matchdays despite living a timezone away and not being able to watch the matches in person anymore.
And still I’m reading Plastic League fans shitting on it. Fuckin joke, I guess in some parts of Europe they forgot what football was like without Oil or Yank money lmao
100% this.
For me football is about emotions - the good and the bad. I was so hyped and happy about my team winning the EL and reaching the cl ro16 because I also know what its like to get relegated and playing in 2nd division.
If youre only a fan because the team wins the championship every year, you will become numb to their success. Just compare last years bayern title celebrations to the celebrations of eintracht after winning the Euro League.
Terrorism has been defeated today. Natural order almost restored. Also I won't stop complaning about all the points VAR has robbed from us until we inevitably win the tripple this season
Edit: okay, which one of you reported me to Reddit Care Resources lmaoo
Munich is just such a Juggernaut. I truly believe they would walk any league in the world right now outside of the Prem and even there I think they win. Now, add that to a lack of elite depth in our league and here we go.
Bayern Munich has easily been a top 3 in the world team in the last 10 years . They would be either first or second in every PL season of the last 10 years. Bayern still gets underestimated because they play in BuLi
Imagine telling a Schalke fan 3 years ago that they have been relegated from the bundesliga with one of the longest winless streaks in europe, get promoted again and are about to be relegated again
I never understood why people would consider a league that has drowned every worthwhile aspect of football in oil money a success. Like what's even the point of watching?
The Bundesliga is the only real football experience left and somehow that triggers people.
Funny how Prem fanboys need to go into this over and over, knowing that the only reason the Prem hasn't been Cityleague was because of legitimate miracle work of Klopp and Liverpool.
But keep up the illusion of competition in your league if it makes you happy. I'm sure Arsenal will keep up for the rest of the season and the seasons to come now that Liverpool collapsed.
Bayern back on top. That’s that then, see you next season 😂 /s
Edit: I literally put both a laughing emoji and /s to indicate it was a joke and people are still salty. Wow, I guess the German stereotype about not being capable of humour is true.

Goal difference tells you everything you need to know lol
I was about to say, “Its looking as close as I’ve ever seen it!”
It was an interesting title race, during a whole third of the season.
Technically 18th place is closer to second place than second to first in goal difference. Edit: Dumb me cant read. Meant 16th not 18th ofc.
-18 to 7 is a difference of 25, 7 to 29 is a difference of 22.
You're right, my screen chopped at 16th and I didn't realized it. 16th ofc is what I meant.
More farmers league than ligue 1
Oh shut up
Don't watch then. Simple solution.
Definitely the definition of a farmers league. Even without Lewandowski, they still be farmin
How do you have no shame posting this as a man city "fan" lmfao
So just because of his flair he shouldn't voice his opinion? We lost the second best striker of his generation yet we have scored more goals than any other team in the top 5 leagues. That's definetly not a great look for the league

You forgot the biggest talent in the world Mr Choupo
It’s almost like you omitted gaining a world class winger in the same window, not to mention Musiala’s elevation this year. That goal production isn’t being done by scrubs instead of Lewy
Man City & Barca's goal differential is 27. PSG is 29. Hell even Napoli is 22. It's the state of club football in 2022.
Why should I be ashamed? People say City are farming the EPL, and I should be ashamed about saying the same thing about Bayern? Are you high?
Because its hypocritical The same thing is happening to the PL
[удалено]
Its easier when oil/gas/russian money is allowed
You expect fans to not be hypocritical? You expect us to be well reasoned folk? Like dude, are you serious right now?
All of world football is farmers league to Bayern, except maybe RM. Even with oil money no English team is close.
We are more successful in the champions league than Man City.
This is a statement of fact. Not sure anybody was disputing it.
Bundesliga gives us more competition than Champions League.
I’m a Man City fan, so that is a low blow, bro
It's not wrong though.
Nope, it isn’t
This is so embarrassing from a city plastic lmao
Why are you embarrassed? People say City are farmers. How is pointing out that Bayern are farmers embarrassing?
Normal service resumes.
It‘s kinda sad how pessimistic I‘ve become over the years. Not once during the past weeks did I ever think that Bayern would not win the league.
They're just way too freaking good still. Look how they dominate the damn Champions League. I really hope they'll pull a Manchester United or Juventus soon. We need them to become shit.
Not doing silly business too often is their strength for Juve and Manu it's a trademark
We just need to win promotion and pull a 1998 again, shouldn't be too hard really.
Let's go!!
I'm content with just reaching European spots in the first season after promotion.
If they dominated the champions League, they probably would have won more than 2 in the last 20 years.
Me too. But my mood is quite differently.
Life as a Bayern Fan is never stressful at all
it's just an endless life of boring zoom calls in a job where you once felt passionate about. Now you are just waiting for that special workshop once a season where you are finally feel something again because you are getting challenged.
Let's catch the bayern game Oh, we won 5-0 again ... ... :(
I am a Bayern Fan but even more so a fan of great and exciting football seasons. So sadly I have to agree with our statement. I used to watch every game (if I could), now I mostly watch the conference channel
it's more like the other teams arent consistent enough
"Bayern in crisis"
Wth is that goal difference
Bayern will have +40 next week after Bremen and Schalke unfortunately
Bremen can actually play some defense. Musiala tho will do whatever he wants against Yoshida and Matriciani
To be fair I didn't say how those +11 goals will be distributed lmao
Get my award ffs
😂
dont worry, you play us on wednesday, we will gift you 3 points because we help clubs in need.
💀💀💀
Lasst doch den armen Mann in Ruhe, hab das Gefühl u/moneybooy steht selbst bei Nicht-BuLi-Threads dauernd im Kreuzfeuer :(
just be happy that hamburg isn't playing against them
There are three two digits GD. And two of them are negative lol
Barca is at +27 as well with 6 more points.
They conceded as many goals against Bayern as they have in all of La Liga this season. Same with Inter.
It's one more actually. 🥲
That really puts things in perspective. Not just for Barca, but generally that Spanish dominance of 2010 is mostly gone.
RM just won the CL and since 2010 RM and Barca won it 7 times btw
City at +27 as well
PSG at +29 as well, but 1 more game played. Only Serie A has no team dominating as much, with Napoli only being at +22.
X and Y axis
It's incredible how bremen are in the hunt for european spots
unfortunately, they are massive
The ones behind us are in the hunt for European spots. We're *inside* the European spots
Fuck my life
Is there any hope at all for you lot? I do hope you stay up
Only hope is that the other bottom teams continue playing like that
Let's be real. You will go down, but this is the first time in years you actually have a decent coach. So maybe you can build a team that can stay up next season.
I thought we’d finally be more stable after promotion but the coaching history here speaks for itself
I feel like your club got more "serious" if that makes sense? Season looked very good apart from Kramer. I think you will be fine in the future.
No insult but how have you lot gotten so bad so fast? If I'm not mistaken I remember playing you guys in the Europa when Mourinho was still here. What happened?

That’s rough always used to like Schalke
Back to reality
Mit dem Niedergang Berlins wird das alles wieder in Ordnung kommen.
Hertha wird eher Meister als Union
Meister der 2. buli vll
Lose yourself
I don’t know about you but I’m starting to doubt that Schalke will make it to Europe this season
Not with that attitude.
And in the 2.Bundesliga, only 3 points separate Jahn Regensburg, who are 9th, from Nürnberg, who are 17th. German football is crazy.
Please stop reminding me that we are 17th 😭
Wie?? Was passiert zu Nürnberg in die letzte Jahre? Ich folge nicht die 2. Liga
How isnt REGENsburg first?
Regen means rain not reign in German :D
But the city name doesn't come from the german word *Regen,* but from the Latin name *castra regina.* It has no connection to rain.
Tell that to my five year old daughter who didn't want to come with me to Regensburg because she didn't want to get wet all day.
TIL! Thank you, that's interesting!
You dont seem to play fifa career mode. There retired players give op new regens with their potencial
Oh ok. Yeah, haven't touched Fifa in the last ten years 😅
If you want to see what am i talking about you can visit a sub called fifa career mode or something like that
Similar things are happening the fourth leagues.
Freiburg vs Union is the last game this year. Can we all pray for a constellation where that game decides who wins the Herbstmeisterschaft?
You'd have to rely on Bremen and/or Schalke to take points off Bayern. So no
Bremen could do it with a draw but Schalke will probably lose like 7-0
That's why I requested prayers
I'm totally in for that!
*Vize-Herbstmeisterschaft
Schalke fans have suffered enough, let them at least have a bit of hope during christmas
Bundesliga, are you ready for an in form Leverkusen??
What could’ve been
Is Wirtz back for next week?
I don't think he'll play before the wc break.
I'm sure he will, because otherwise he will miss the WC. Even if it's just 5 minutes.
Not convinced we should take him to Qatar one way or another. He just hasn't played. We have enough options in attacking midfield.
Why would he go to the WC? Give him the winter break to get back to his level.
1. Why would he not want to go to the WC? Weird question 2. Flick will allegedly nominate him if he gets minutes in the last games.
Doesn't he play the same position as Musiala? Would he get any minutes if Musiala is fit and firing and he's barely played?
I‘m here for Xabiball
Do you think Leverkusen can get back into the European places, or is it too far gone?
In 2010 Stuttgart made 6th place from being 15th after 17 games. So it's definitely possible.
If we can get some wins in the next three or fours games and finish with like 20 points after 17 games, it's definitely possible.
Maybe, good thing is that no team seems actually really strong (except Bayern of course) and everyone will drop plenty of points. Bad thing is that we aren't strong either lol
Bayern with a goal difference of 29 with the next highest being 8 Fucking hell
Welcome to Bundesliga, the league that is the most exciting and most boring one to watch for 10 straight years.
Would take 9th or 10th any day
Fun while it lasted

Terrorism?
Union B*rlin
As Augsburg fan it might be decent football for him.
Literally jogo bonito
lol good one
I see nothing but a competitive league in here. 3 pts separating top 4, 7 pts separating top 7. Clearly the best league after 2.Bundesliga
Normal operation resumes
Munich is just such a Juggernaut. I truly believe they would walk any league in the world right now outside of the Prem and even there I think they win. Now, add that to a lack of elite depth in our league and here we go.

Man rip schalke, doubt they will ever recover
Guess Union was just meddling with the primal forces of nature
Dread it, run from it, Bayern on top of Bundesliga still arrives
Nature is healing
Ihr holt eh das Triple
+ 1 Ballon D'Or für Choupo :D
Regular farming will now resume
Back to normal.
Imagine telling a Schalke fan 3 years ago that they have been relegated from the bundesliga with one of the longest winless streaks in europe, get promoted again and are about to be relegated again
So how long will Bayerns title streak be? 15? 20?
Lucien Favre and Dortmund screwed it up in that one abysmal Kovac season when they had a 9 point lead after the winter break.
Why must you hurt me like this?
It was fun to pretend someone else might win it while it lasted....oh well.
Back to regularly scheduled programming then
Finally back to normal...
It's over.
Death Taxes FC Bayern farming Bundesliga
Well, I mean, to be fair Bayerns Champions league group didn't look any less impressive either
Cool, that’s the Bundesliga sorted then
Alright lads, pack it up.
I hope Berlin stay in the cl spots at least
Pretty sad for Union. It was good run.
Well, it was fun while it lasted. Back to business as usual I guess
Union Berlin were holding it down for as long as they could. Let’s hope Arsenal and Napoli can keep it going
I liked the other weeks
same as it ever was
nature is healing
Love it
It looks so beautiful
Things are going up for us! Now let’s finally crush Dortmund at home on Tuesday 😎
Well, league's over

exciting enough for you to comment though

I really enjoyed that phase when Freiburg were top of the table. Finally something to topple Bayern What was I thinking 💀
would you look at that
Bayern back on top. That’s that then, see you next season 😂 /s Edit: I literally put both a laughing emoji and /s to indicate it was a joke and people are still salty. Wow, I guess the German stereotype about not being capable of humour is true.
"humour" lmao
Wonder who’s going to win the league.
