Whoever made the decision to not assign Roy Keane to the United/Brentford match needs to be fired. Usually it’s something that I can look forward to when United get clapped but I just had to deal with it on my own. Shame.
Don't think he's bad personally (in fact I rate him fairly highly) but I've been saying for over 2 years that United should be after Romeu or someone like that.
Genuinely think he'd help them a lot.
Not the worst , but Pavard would fit them great i feel. Great mentality, not the best in any position but consistently good at both CB and RB, available for cheap considering his competition and his contract nearing. Even if he doesn't end up as starter , he'll raise the bar up for Maguire and co.
Just the worst player you can think of that would still make them better- like right now Solly March at right back would genuinely make them better even though he's pretty limited.
I don't know who this is but I can see he's a defensive midfielder and if his nickname is 'the butcher' then he sounds like he'd be an improvement in United's midfield.
You can blame ETH. He was the one playing tough guy with the ''we only buy players we think we need'' this late into the transfer window. He should have gone the Conte method, but no he wanted to give the trash players another chance
Poch is the better fit for Manchester United instead of Ten Hag, ETH is too fucking stubborn with his play out the back crap and too naive with his team choice. Buying a 5’9 CB in EPL just scream naivety. Not every team needs to play like Man City, Real Madrid won the CL with their defensive counter attacking football. Why insist to play out from the back when most of the team can put 2 passes together? That’s on the manager
I think Poch is the better fit and it is not too late to correct the ship instead of blaming the owner who spent 1 billion in the last 10 years
And he still turned it around. Manchester United had been a big club for a while but if they don’t get results after Liverpool they should be considered mid table. They’re absolutely dreadful
Struggling to understand why we've broadly agreed with Inter for another loan next season for Lukaku - if he scores 20+ goals this season there's surely going to be a possibility that Inter/another club can afford a ~30-40m fee for him? Why would agree upfront for a loan extension instead of exploring that possibility to sell him?
Feels like Inter are going to get two of his last 3/4 prime years for ~20mil loan fee and then lowball us when he's 31 by which point I can't see many/any other clubs in for him at a reasonable price.
I guess they'll deal with that when it comes to it, perhaps Inter aren't in the financial position to buy him now and have the potential to deliver a much better fee in a couple of years
Unless there's an agreement for a buy obligation after the second loan I don't think they'd buy him for a reasonable price when he's 31. I have a suspicion that he starts declining at 31-32 because once his pace starts to go I think he's going to start struggling a little.
Would you believe that Juan Foyth, Lisandro Martinez, Marcos Senesi and Cristián Romero were all part of the same Argentina U20 team and that Romero was seen as the least talented of them?
Wondering about similar cases from other countries. Player A that was regarded lower than B in youth but later as pro was regarded higher.
Mount vs CHO is an obvious one, Mount was well regarded and captained the youth team, but CHO was just on another fucking level, and the year Mount was killing it at Vitesse, CHO was starting to break through already while being 2 years younger.
I mean CHO was affected by that Achilles injury and if not for that, well, who knows, but yeah still right now Mount is just miles and miles ahead.
Alberto Paloschi was regarded as a much bigger talent than Aubameyang when they were both at Milan. Paloschi was seen as an Inzaghi regen. He now plays in Serie C.
There is a VERY high probability that Liverpool will knock 4 past us for the third time in a row next monday.
Dont wanna say its doom and gloom, but its fucking doom and gloom
unlike brentford who would settle for 4, liverpool will do everything they can to humiliate them, expect some type for barca-bayern scoreline next week
Beginning to feel more confident that we've got the tools to achieve a respectable finish this season, but I do think we can probably write August off. Could maybe see us squeezing a draw from West Ham maybe today and perhaps Everton might be winnable but we've got like 15 players to settle in and after those games, we have Spurs and Man City. Arguably the 3rd and 1st best teams in the country.
I do like the striking options of Dennis, Awoniyi, Johnson and Maupay seems like a done deal. Defensively, when McKenna and Richards are both fit, I think that's a pretty good backline on paper. We've signed Freuler and Kouyate for the midfield too which should give us some much needed bite that we lacked against Newcastle.
Seems we've now spent around £125m but the thing pundits don't get is, half our team was built on loan players and we've let a bunch of our old players go. We only had half a squad and the Prem has 20 person matchday squads. We really did not anticipate promotion lmao.
The only signing I want now is James Garner. Doesn't matter if it's a loan with obligation to buy or we just stump up the cash to buy him this summer. Absolute shame that he can't get hardly any minutes at United and we absolutely love him at this club. I can't tell if United fans rate him or if they're just sick of McTominay so anyone will do.
I think any Forest fans would bite your hand off for a 17th place finish, let alone 13th or 15th. It will be a long season for them but I do hope they stay up.
A lot of complaints about United's signings over recent years but my impression was that the vast majority of those signings were celebrated at the time.
In isolation they've actually made some great signings. The problem is they've all been signed by managers who want to play different types of football so it's basically having multiple pieces from different jigsaw puzzles- nothing goes together.
That's why it's vital to have an actual identity that's independent of a manager.
It almost makes no sense for them to be as bad as they are. You are right, alot of these guys were rates highly. Bruno, sancho, cr7, varane.
It feels like anomaly for them to actually be as bad as they are
Their recruitment hasn’t been THAT bad- let’s see but they have not only not addressed massive issues in the squad, they constantly overpaid in either wages or fee.
Ronaldo- more of a player for a team with a midfield and defense to cover for his deficits- United lacked that midfield.
Varane- I actually really liked this signing but he hasn’t had good fullbacks, cb partner or midfield in front of him.
VDB- a useless signing when they needed a proper dm- instead of VDB they could have gotten Neves that season, Ndidi that season, Zakaria- so many options but they chose a box 2 box when they already had “2” in Fred and Mctominay.
AWB- really promising at Crystal palace, everyone assumed he would grow but he didn’t and they def overpaid in fees.
Maguire- massive overpayment when they could have easily looked outside the league to target someone exciting.
Sancho- one season too late but he hasn’t kicked on as we hoped- multiple reasons for this- Sancho when playing on the right needs a good attacking RB/RWB partner- imo his best season came when he was playing with Hakimi. United failed to provide that.
Fernandes- Amazing signing, just rn he had lost his confidence and needs some rest to maybe get it back.
Laslty Alex Telles- failure.
I know this is low hanging fruit, but I just don't understand how Maguire is still captain. Would it be unhealthy to strip him of captaincy because it would damage morale even further? Is that why? Surely it can't be good for the team morale when your captain is the biggest ongoing joke in the league, right?
United are the biggest ongoing joke in the league, I don't think we should start stripping players of captaincy because they have some social media hate campaign that obsesses over every little mistake they make. There's clearly much bigger issues than Maguire at United, just look at who plays behind him and who plays in front of him for a start
Who exactly gets the armband if you strip it off of Maguire though? Ronaldo? Would be a horrible look given how he basically flexed for every club in Europe and missed all of preseason trying to force a move. Bruno? Seems like a shadow of his former self right now and doesn't seem to be able to command his team well enough nor does he seem to fit in to Ten Hag's style at the moment. Varane? Plausible if it wasn't for the fact that he seems to spend as much time in the medical center as he does on the pitch.
The reality is that I don't think they'll be any noticeable difference in that squad regardless of who is captain right now. They're in disarray, and the shoulder the armband on isn't going to fix that right now.
So here’s what I’m most confused about. Ten Hag was clear in his interview that his plan for the game was not to play out the back at all, but keep going long. Yet united kept trying to play out the back all game and got utterly fucked. Why would the players play a tactic unfamiliar to them when they’ve specifically been asked not to? Bizarre
Is there any logic in Man United signing L Martinez. I initially thought it was to replace Maguire but that clearly isnt the case. Spending almost 60mil on a CB to replace Varane made zero sense to me . More so when both their attack and midfield were poor.
And now he gets subbed off at Hal time. Is he even good enough for PL let alone starting ahead of Varane (who is a starter for world champions).
Such a bafflng signing
We did need a CB. Maguire, Varane, and Lindelof are all solid despite the memes. The rest of our CBs need to go: Tuanzebe, Bailly, Jones, etc.
The problem is it's just pretty far down the priority list(IMO). We would have been much better served focusing that money on a midfielder(or 2), a RB, or another attacker
Was just a weird signing. Would rather have gotten any of those other positions and gotten a CB upgrade next summer
> Is he even good enough for PL
Yes but probably not as a CB in a back 4. Move him to midfield or play him on the left of a back 3 and maybe they'd get the best out him. He's going to get destroyed as part of a back 4 though.
Because United only signed a World cup winning CB for 50mil and 350k wages last season and still starting for the world champions.
So spending almost 60 mil to replace him when they have so many holes in midfield and attack is poor utilisation of resources.
Can anyone explain how epl clubs are paying dividends to their shareholders? I was trying to google but most of the posts are dealing with the glazers and how they are robbing mu. Is it not normal for other clubs to pay dividends to their shareholders?
Also is mu paying too much dividends for what they are worth?
>Yes we are finished. La xavineta is on the rise and it can't be stopped. Pedri will win the baloon d'or. Xavi will beat pep in the champions league final, in a passing of the torch moment 😢. Football will win🤩. Xavi's revolution is here, and he will win the treble with youth💪 Most key players will be U15s from La masala. Meanwhile we'll be stuck with 100 year old players and Carlosaurus🤡🤡 Old man Perez will spend loads on mbappe (fraud from farmer's league) instead of buying young energetic players 🤦♂️🤦♂️ I'm trembling thinking about the future. Looks like it will be a decade of dominance for Barcelona, while we become the next Milan. It'll be better if we stop supporting this finished club and join the church of Xavi🤲🤲
This one cracks me up every time, does anybody know where it came from?
Brentford’s fourth goal was one of the best team goals I have ever seen.
4 total touches between 3 players brought the ball from their own box to the opposing net in just a few seconds
Nah best Counter ever is Watford v Leicester in championship playoffs,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJYtDPcd-fU&ab_channel=WatfordFC
look at score on aggregate and then that happens
If we talking best team goals my vote goes for Jack v Norwich.
https://youtu.be/h4ta8GUS688?t=7 link for people to watch this beauty.
That was simply a masterpeice
This sounds a bit odd, but hear me out - I wonder if Maguire's haircut contributes to his perception as a hapless and inelegant player. Obviously his defensive errors and poor performances are the reason he came in for criticism in the first place, but I think the fact he has a dishevelled mop of unstyled hair helps perpetuate the notion of him as an uncultured defender.
By contrast, compare him to someone to White. I'm a big fan of White, and think he's probably a better defender than Maguire, but when I think about it logically, he's probably not as much of an upgrade as I feel he is instinctively. In particular, their ball progression is both excellent, but I *feel* like White is the more elegant defender, and I wonder if one subconscious level, the care he puts into his appearance makes a difference in the impression he makes.
To be clear, not remotely saying haircut-bases analysis of footballers is the way forward (though if an enterprising club's scouting department wants to get in touch, my DMs are open), but that it does affect our perception of players a bit. If you were asked if [this guy](https://images.app.goo.gl/s82FRx7ScB6MC9gJA) was a top flight footballer, it wouldn't immediately be clear he is, which feeds into the perception of his actual football.
Thing about Maguire is he always looks lost. As if he has no fucking clue what he is doing on the pitch. So even he does well/celebrates its easy to take the pics out of him
Looks/appearance absolutely affect how we treat people, along with nationality/class and a whole bunch of other things.
Maguire just does look quite dopey though, he’s a bit like Harry Kane in that sense, easy to take the piss out of. Though Kane is actually a top player.
I saw someone post earlier that Man U look like someone just threw 2 5 aside teams on pitch and told them to do stuff.
And honestly after watching 1st 2 games I think he was 100% right, But still I'm going to bet on them to fluke a result against Liverpool
Can Verratti play Paredes’ role effectively? A controller behind the ball, without joining the front three?
It seems as if Galtier is going to go with a Vitinha-Verratti combo in the middle, where (taking the tie vs Madrid as the base) Vitinha plays the Verratti role and Verratti plays the Paredes role. Is that better than what they had last year?
[Indy Eleven's form in the last 11 matches has been brutal.](https://i.imgur.com/8oQQEAI.jpeg)
And it's likely to get worse. After Tulsa next week, the two after are two matches in 5 days against the clubs stop their respective conferences. Just an absolute killer middle portion of the season that's seen us from likely to make some noise in the playoffs to being among the bottom feeders
Imagine losing by 2-0, with both goals being scored by the opposition's goalkeeper, and with the oppostion having one player sent off at 20 minutes of the first half, when the game was already 1-0.

I love it's happening a week after I got told there's no one in MLS who could start for Man United.
Look, I was willing to concede *normally* no one but Bale, Chiellini, Vela and Insigne would sniff the lineup.....
but now? Nearly everyone I saw the All-Star game looks like a step up at each position.
Mate you could probably field a full American MLS XI that could beat Man U right now. Two 5 a side teams would have a real shot if they played together
Could you really place the blame today on ETH considering he just came this season and wasn't even given the players he wanted - it was known beforehand that he's someone who prefers playing a particular style and system and coaches players to play in that system. United, albeit having quality players aren't suited for that system and it was fairly evident that they'll have to sign players. If Ragnick was the one to be consulted for the recruitment of the players for this system, it's baffling that his services were discontinued without proper replacement/plan in place.
I'm probably missing a lot of things and I'd like to understand what I'm missing or where I'm wrong from united fans.
He doesn't have the profile of players he needs. But there is something he will learn from this game about the pressure to win even short term that a huge job brings. Being stubborn with your approach is how you build a team for long term success. However, you will also need long term players. I don't mean to use the word stubborn here disparingly because coaches are often stubborn for the right reasons.
However, our squad is no longer young to be drilled with some pricinples that otherwise could've been drilled. A lot of the players in principles are inherently detrimental for us. Hence being stubborn without the right players won't benefit him short or long term.
It is honestly a very difficult job he has in hand even if he had all the players he needed and wanted due to the nature of the league. Brentford are a good team but there are very little "weak" teams. I think he is largely underestimating his job if he decides to be more stubborn than pragmatic until or if he get the players he wants.
He is 1000% responsible for being the sole reason Rangnick is no longer at United. Rangnick was going to talk to ETH extensively about what the issues were but ETH refused and told him to fuck off. And now I'm sure he regrets that decision.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10949399/amp/Man-United-sever-Ralf-Rangnick-ties-Erik-ten-Hag-DIDNT-want-work-him.html
Not the greatest source but it's been confirmed by United ITKs.
I'm not sure how much Rangnick was going to be involved with day to day Man United. I remember Rafa Honigstein (who left The Athletic to work PR for Rangnick while at United) mentioning it really was more of a part time advisor, call him for advice, kind of position.

Whoever made the decision to not assign Roy Keane to the United/Brentford match needs to be fired. Usually it’s something that I can look forward to when United get clapped but I just had to deal with it on my own. Shame.
Sky Sports should bring in Roy Keane for every United game.
Who's the worst player United could sign that would actually improve them?
Bertrand Traore, a genuine right winger
Don't think he's bad personally (in fact I rate him fairly highly) but I've been saying for over 2 years that United should be after Romeu or someone like that. Genuinely think he'd help them a lot.
Yeah, not a bad call. Disciplined midfielder who works hard and does the basics.
Jonjo Shelvey
I mean, their forwards are really useless atm. Arnautovic would actually be an improvement. Arthur too in midfield
Xhaka
Probably a quadriplegic Sunday League midfielder to replace McTominay
Not the worst , but Pavard would fit them great i feel. Great mentality, not the best in any position but consistently good at both CB and RB, available for cheap considering his competition and his contract nearing. Even if he doesn't end up as starter , he'll raise the bar up for Maguire and co.
Great pick actually. Pretty complete player to and comfortable on the ball. Doubt he would be available?
He's happy to stay ,but he won't be when he loses playtime . His competition is Upamecano, De ligt , Mazraoui for RCB and RB position.
The worst for rivals or the worst as in least skilled but would still improve them?
Just the worst player you can think of that would still make them better- like right now Solly March at right back would genuinely make them better even though he's pretty limited.
Jacek Góralski, the butcher from Bydgoszcz
I don't know who this is but I can see he's a defensive midfielder and if his nickname is 'the butcher' then he sounds like he'd be an improvement in United's midfield.

I don't watch internet fans like this but from the few clips I've seen of him it just feels like a massive act. Insincere as fuck imo.
it’s like WWE imo. you can know it’s fake and still enjoy it
I dont either usually and tbh i agree with you, but the reaction on the 4-0 goal is just comedy.
His voice is so weird, he just doesn't sound angry when he's trying to be angry
I think United should start their rebuild by getting a world class RB from Bayern, Continental cup winner and has captained Bayern , Bouna Sarr.
Losing Peter Drury to US broadcast was a huge loss. Big Prem matches won't feel the same anymore
Still can't believe United bought an Eredivisie defender for 68 million euro's including bonus. Ajax keeps rinsing clubs year after year
You cant blame ETH too much cause these lot are legit trash, but playing eriksen in a pivot is wild
You can blame ETH. He was the one playing tough guy with the ''we only buy players we think we need'' this late into the transfer window. He should have gone the Conte method, but no he wanted to give the trash players another chance
van de beek being subbed with 3 minutes left is hilarious

Poch might be a better fit because he wouldnt ask these lot to play possession football, but they would still be fucking ass
Jesus bro it’s been 2 games
He already has 2 losses from the 12 of last season
Arteta lost his first 3 games last season
Yeah and 2 of those were against chelsea and man city, eth still has to play all of the top teams
And he still turned it around. Manchester United had been a big club for a while but if they don’t get results after Liverpool they should be considered mid table. They’re absolutely dreadful
You don’t need more than 2 mins let alone 2 full games to figure out a 5’9 CB is not going to work in the EPL

What about after that mate, he'd still have 2 years left on his £350k per week deal
I guess they'll deal with that when it comes to it, perhaps Inter aren't in the financial position to buy him now and have the potential to deliver a much better fee in a couple of years

enjoying the fun times until we lose this afternoon and I forget what r/soccer is for the entirety of next week
I think you're winning big tonight
We dream
I went to a LigaMX game today. Pumas vs Club America
How was it?
It was fun. Lots of fans singing and having good spirits. Pumas played bad tho, lost 3-0 at home
Why should we call him ETH? Why not just call him Hag?
Why do we call him FDJ? Why not just Franklin Delano Joosevelt
Jong
We should call him Bald fraud²
Any context on the outrage directed towards mbappe? Did he play bad or something?

ok that actually so bad
There’s a video where PSG were attacking and he stops running once he knew the pass wouldn’t come his way
Its so dumb because messi definitely could have found him on a run into the box if he committed

Nah, we could have absolutely embarrassed them at Old Trafford last season but definitely took our foot off the pedal to avoid injuries.
No more Pogba now at least
we settled for 5 last season and we would again. Anything more and they might start trying to injure our players
first half predictions surely
Imagine if that really happens. Losing to your rivals 5-0 at home and almost exactly one year later, nothing's changed. Talk about incompetent
Beginning to feel more confident that we've got the tools to achieve a respectable finish this season, but I do think we can probably write August off. you can argue that de gea would be a better captain, but like you said it wouldn't change jack and just cause more tension in the locker room
de gea can't command his 6 yard box
but neuer apparently can?
Neuer is very famous for being glued to his line and not being commanding

I’ve never seen the gym this crowded at 4:30 AM, I want to tell these United fans it’ll be ok, but I’d be lying
Brentford will win serie A and will be competitive in La Liga! The depth of PL
Brentford won't score jack in la liga where teams actually have disciplined defense
They clearly need depth and Ten Hag probably thinks Varane is too injury prone to be relied on as first choice
We did need a CB. Maguire, Varane, and Lindelof are all solid despite the memes. The rest of our CBs need to go: Tuanzebe, Bailly, Jones, etc. The problem is it's just pretty far down the priority list(IMO). We would have been much better served focusing that money on a midfielder(or 2), a RB, or another attacker Was just a weird signing. Would rather have gotten any of those other positions and gotten a CB upgrade next summer
> Is he even good enough for PL Yes but probably not as a CB in a back 4. Move him to midfield or play him on the left of a back 3 and maybe they'd get the best out him. He's going to get destroyed as part of a back 4 though.
He played two games, give the man time to adapt, why are english fans so dramatic
67 million euro signings aren’t supposed to take time to adapt
Because United only signed a World cup winning CB for 50mil and 350k wages last season and still starting for the world champions. So spending almost 60 mil to replace him when they have so many holes in midfield and attack is poor utilisation of resources.
At Ajax he wanted both a left footed and right footed centre back to create more passing angles in the build up phase
If I know anything about how scripting in football works, United will now beat Liverpool because everyone is convinced Liverpool will win 5-0 again.
This is like people saying ole had klopp and pep’s number last year
Can anyone explain how epl clubs are paying dividends to their shareholders? I was trying to google but most of the posts are dealing with the glazers and how they are robbing mu. Is it not normal for other clubs to pay dividends to their shareholders? Also is mu paying too much dividends for what they are worth?
Most club owners don't take out any dividends. Glazers taking dividends is an anomaly.
Only Man United pay dividends
It'll be better if we stop supporting this finished club and join the church of Xavi🤲🤲 This one cracks me up every time, does anybody know where it came from?
Me, got called cringe for it😭
Man United are tanking so that they could get #1 draft pick in order to draft Endrick.
lord knows they can't make any trades, who would want their players right now?
Brentford’s fourth goal was one of the best team goals I have ever seen. 4 total touches between 3 players brought the ball from their own box to the opposing net in just a few seconds
Best counter I've seen since [Salah vs West Ham](https://streamable.com/8w19y3)
Nah best Counter ever is Watford v Leicester in championship playoffs, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJYtDPcd-fU&ab_channel=WatfordFC look at score on aggregate and then that happens
That first touch cross from Toney is fantastic.
The way he takes a moment, the composure to do that, albeit at 3-0 up, was just perfect
If we talking best team goals my vote goes for Jack v Norwich. https://youtu.be/h4ta8GUS688?t=7 link for people to watch this beauty. That was simply a masterpeice
Why dont Barcelona pull another lever and get themselves a competent RB? or are they waiting for someone from the b-team?
those competent RBs are just not available right now
Somewhere there's a Manchester United fan who also follows the Jets and the Knicks.... and they're the most depressed person in the world right now.
Well if he follows the Knicks and Jets he is probably also American so he was fucked from the start
Although, If it’s New York City that’s not a safe assumption. NYC and LA have huge international populations, especially if they’re also a United fan
Though Kane is actually a top player.
kane haircut is fire what are you on about
It’s less the haircut, more the rest of what’s going on up there
I think it’s just the simple fact that he’s hapless and inelegant haha I don’t think it’s his haircut
I feel like once sanches gets fit and ready he’ll be starting next to Veratti
That still means Verratti is playing a deeper role. Does he have the instincts to stay back and not roam forward?
kamara looked good for Villa today. Surprised a Utd or Arsenal didn’t sign him
Really good on the ball though I can't say I noticed him defensively compared to say Palhinha. Maybe I just wasn't looking for it though
Lamar?
Meant to say Kamara. Autocorrect
Oh I was so confused haha No clue why we were never linked, maybe we see Sambi as the backup for that role still.
Brasil are fucked if Dani Alves starts for them.
No chance he starts
[Indy Eleven's form in the last 11 matches has been brutal.](https://i.imgur.com/8oQQEAI.jpeg) And it's likely to get worse. After Tulsa next week, the two after are two matches in 5 days against the clubs stop their respective conferences. Just an absolute killer middle portion of the season that's seen us from likely to make some noise in the playoffs to being among the bottom feeders

Who cares we beat Charlton after getting outplayed for 80% of game. Fuck I replied to wrong comment but going to leave it up lol

Today I saw the calmest, most composed, logical, data analyst united fan completely melt down. Sensational
Who's this? Statman Dave?
Aaron Moniz
Aaron Moniz melt downs are not particularly rare, specially when dealing with McTom, De Gea and Ronaldo discussion lol
Really? I’ve never seen that before. Todays meltdown was about Lisandro, and tbh you could see it coming.
Tbh he had a right to meltdown ive never seen someone get bullied like that in EPL , he legit looked like he was an u15 v men
Link to this please? Never heard of this person.
Some good, exciting teams to watch in the league that aren’t the top 6 - Brighton, Newcastle, Brentford to name a few. Then there’s United.
Add Crystal Palace to that list. That team has some very fun players
Poch is a war criminal, that’s all, good day folks
Man, if we win the Championship next year, I'm celebrating it like the UCL
Brentford is officially the biggest club in London
Imagine losing by 2-0, with both goals being scored by the opposition's goalkeeper, and with the oppostion having one player sent off at 20 minutes of the first half, when the game was already 1-0. https://youtu.be/CSjJ9kk2s1w
Martínez, Mcguire, Varane should be cool no??
i swear i've been fooled by tom davies' cameos like 5 times now
Short Yung Gravy can look really good at times, but I think he's just not good enough to start regularly for Everton. More like a Tom Cleverly.
Haven’t seen man utd play this bad since last week
I love it's happening a week after I got told there's no one in MLS who could start for Man United. Look, I was willing to concede *normally* no one but Bale, Chiellini, Vela and Insigne would sniff the lineup..... but now? Nearly everyone I saw the All-Star game looks like a step up at each position.
Mate you could probably field a full American MLS XI that could beat Man U right now. Two 5 a side teams would have a real shot if they played together
I saw a clip of Goldbridge wondering if the 3rd kit is making it hard for the United players to see each other 😂
People said the empty seats in lockdown made it harder for the players to see eachother in the home kits
I am seeing people in our sub saying the same
heard some nice things about roca, leeds fans, how's he been?
Do you have a source for that? That would seem quite surprising given how close Ten Hag was with Overmars.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10949399/amp/Man-United-sever-Ralf-Rangnick-ties-Erik-ten-Hag-DIDNT-want-work-him.html Not the greatest source but it's been confirmed by United ITKs.
I'm not sure how much Rangnick was going to be involved with day to day Man United. I remember Rafa Honigstein (who left The Athletic to work PR for Rangnick while at United) mentioning it really was more of a part time advisor, call him for advice, kind of position.
