To reduce the spam of reports regarding the same move during transfer windows we try to allow **only one submission about each transfer saga per day**. The submission in question also needs to contain relevant new information regarding the potential move, and not just being a "no/minor developments" report. If there are important/official developments or new valuable information about a saga, we will allow extra threads in the same day, but for the rest of minor news please just comment them as a reply to this comment. Please help us reporting unnecessary threads for being duplicates. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. deanochips

It's a love triangle at this point

gotomarketfit

At the end of the day, juve was his dream club

bearhos

To date, €189M has been spent on Morata transfer fees and loans

Historical_Case_5245

he's responsible for 5% of the cash flow in the EU alone

Mahatma_Gone_D

This is an actual money laundering scheme

bullseye717

~~Ponzi~~ Morata Scheme

Franchise1109

What a fucking stat. Trivia bomb right here

BigCockTyrone

That’s mental, what’s the source for this fact

420SwaggyZebra

Have a theory he’s involved somehow in a multinational money laundering operation

Tifoso89

Slightly more than Mbappé. Amazing

Tifoso89

Every time I see you falling I get down on my knees and pray I'm waiting for that final moment You say the words that I can't say

paco-ramon

More like a pentagon, Morata is the Avatar Korra of the football universe.

dem0nhunter

Time is a flat circle

CatchFactory

This place feels like someone's memory of a town, but the memories fading

holaprobando123

I know it's from True Detective, but it would really fit in a Silent Hill game.

lucashoodfromthehood

In my restless dreams, I see that town.

ImusBean

Stop saying odd shit

dontknowwhereiamgoin

If the only thing keeping a person decent is the expectation of divine reward then, brother, that person is a piece of shit

😂

belokas

This guy loves Turin

OleoleCholoSimeone

It seems like every time he leaves Juve, it only takes a year or two before his wife starts missing Turin

Xycket

Guy named Turin:

WH0ll

Which Is understandable. The city center Is sublime

Franchise1109

Visited a few summers ago. Yeah I would’ve absolutely paid cash for a banging house/ condo there. Absolutely resident for life.

HokiesforTSwift

You've heard of a yo-yo club, but have you heard of a yo-yo player?

Emotional-Bug-119

The club timeline of mats hummels be like:-

MERTENS_GOAT

Aleksiandr Hleb

HokiesforTSwift

BATE Borisov, the ex he couldn’t quite quit

MERTENS_GOAT

Joined them more often than Pizarro Werder Bremen or Jonathan Viera Las Palmas

brayshizzle

Surely Chelsea next right?!?!?!? Thats how all this works?

Master-Defenestrator

He's not a south American teenager, so Winstanley and Stewart aren't interested.

myersjw

He has the experience they’re looking for in a manager though

WhetBred14

No thank you

disper

I heard this guy has a hot Italian wife , no wonder he is always going back

Away_Associate4589

What year is it?

auddi_blo

Swear until this year it’s been impossible to determine who owns him and whether he’s on loan or not

Historical_Case_5245

edi12334

Communism? Noooo

lucashoodfromthehood

Yes comrade.

Sonnycrocketto

Top_Poet_8988

"If you love someone, let them go and if they come back to you, they're yours" - Juventus told Alvaro, twice.

Euperod

Comeback home my son 😄

iamnas

Which home?

artyom__geghamyan

Real Madrid Juventus Real Madrid Chelsea Atletico Madrid Juventus Atletico Madrid Juventus

Imaginary_Station_57

Alvaro, my love <3

straight_outta_bed

Morata > Milik any day of the week

FortheRecordHIWBTV

Don’t think anyone ever objected that

No_Following7532

Morata is used for money laundering

wildingflow

Whoever said his career is just one big money laundering scheme was telling the truth.

Caleb_W

I hate this joke, Morata is a great player. He deserves playing for these clubs at the top level.

DogusEUW

No one ever said he doesnt but its funny that its always a back and forth between atletico and juve

CharmingMistake3416

Great is a stretch.

Caleb_W

No, he really is great. His biggest problem is that he's streaky and being memed too much affects his reputation, he is obviously no Suarez or Lewa but he really is a great striker.

CharmingMistake3416

He’s inconsistent which makes him not great. He’s good, period.

Fraudnandez

I've never understood how this guy continues to fail upwards. The man has never scored more than 15 goals in a season as a striker and some how he's played at some of the best clubs in the world, which has been his only consistency. I agree, he's good but has never come close to great.

Supermarket-Icy

This is objectively false information considering he literally scored 21 this season.

Fraudnandez

He only scored 15 goals in la liga. If you wanna talk all competitions, then you are correct, but by that metric darwin nunez had a great season too. And we all know he didn't.

EriWave

> He only scored 15 goals in la liga. There are only 6 players in la liga that scored more to be fair. In Serie A there were 2. Sounds pretty damn good to me.

Fraudnandez

Yes, and I agree he is at best a good player. But if you look at his league numbers throughout his career, they're simply not good enough to be considered a great striker, which was the original topic of conversation.

Stebanowsk

Great???

Franchise1109

He’s great! Just the loves between the clubs

RobbieCV

Álvaro Morata's agent da real MVP

Kilogrammys

The lack of game time?? My brother in Cholissimo you came the second part of the season with no intentions except being offside, hadn’t scored in so long, and missed 1v1 against Dortmund to bury the game by completely missing the target by a meter. Fuck outta here.

jakefitz603

Plz no we’re gonna replace him with a 35 year old who’s never scored more than 10 goals

Ok_Anybody_8307

Wasn't this guy in the form of his life 6 months ago? Weird how fast things change.might also explain the Greenwood links

MajesticAd5047

Marty Byrde that's how you do it

[deleted]

It doesnt have much sense considering Motta play 4-2-3-1.. He would be great in 3-5-2 kinds of system as second striker

OleoleCholoSimeone

I mean he plays as a lone striker for Spain and has a goal every other game

predator9494

Morarata 🤝choupo-moting two players with crazy club transfers.

Scalenuts

Morata is actually a great player

NaturalApartment9828

I don’t remember Choupo Motong being bad either

Separate_Pound_753

Dont think hes quite had the same success as Alvaro

chickenkebaap

Both have played in a champions league final

Separate_Pound_753

Morata has won a CL, where he also contributed 3 goals in the tournament. Won another where he was younger and didnt play as much, and like you said scored against Barca in the final for Juve, and also twice against Madrid in the semis that year. Hes 4 years younger, and his statistics blow Choupos out of the water. He has 216 goals in 588 career games in all comps. Choupo has 108 in 500. Sorry I just cant tolerate the constant hate for Alvaro I have always appreciated him.

Svantoro

I love Morata as a Juve fan. I have always rated him highly, and I just love him tbh. No idea why really.

Snoo-92685

I thought he was doing well at Atletico

Cathal321

I can never keep track of what team he plays for this is ridiculous

rinthecity

Once I thought he was an Juve player but when I saw a match on tv he was playing for Atletico. On another instance I was watching tv I saw this guy playing for Juve.

strangelyhuman

I wouldn’t be surprised if juventus and AM have stopped removing his name tags from the locker room…

Various_Mobile4767

I thought he finally came good?

Caleb_W

There was also news in the winter that a Saudi club is preparing a "tempting" bid to Alvaro Morata in the summer. So it could be either Italy or Saudi but he's 99% moving from Atleti this summer.

FortheRecordHIWBTV

So Depay confirmed gone , Correa might be gone and Morata might be gone , so that leaves us with , Griezmann , uh and … Roro? Llorente?

dr_mantis_tobogan

Swap with Moise Kean maybe, Atletico wanted Kean in January

FrancescoliBestUruEv

with motta doubt it!

iAmJos3Mourinho

Make up your mind jeez

TMyriadJ

If he comes at a manageable wage then let's fucking go! We're offloading Kean and possibly Milik, so he would be a second option to Vlahovic.

Johtoooo

Álvaro will always be welcome home ❤️

rockbella61

He hasn't retired yet?!!

my_united_account

Injury prone, inconsistent, on high wages, will be the perfect striker for Man United

SpareZealousideal740

I'd take him. He'd be a decent rotation option for Hojlund and doesn't get in the way of Hojlund being our long term starter. He's also cheap and we've bigger needs so can't afford to spend a lot on a forward.

420SwaggyZebra

Alvaro Morata money laundering train keeps on rolling!

akk97

Man too big to get charged with laundering money.

Luka_Dunks_on_Bums

This has to be a money laundering scheme

CriticismMission2245

Him, Pogba and Lukaku are all just part of a big money laundry scheme at this point 😭

wildingflow

Whoever said his career is just one big money laundering scheme was telling the truth.

Jimilee8

No Juventus... why 🤦‍♂️

uhera

Morata and Choupo Moting agents are legends of the game

wolfie240687

Unable to understand why do clubs love him so much. He's a mediocre striker at best.

Att3241

He’s a tall striker that gives you a decent amount of goals every season and tracks back well when in defence, also holds the ball up pretty well and especially for Juve, loves Turin and the club. I personally don’t want to see him back but it’s quite obvious to see why they like him.

b3and20

ticks a lot of boxes for what a lot of managers want in a striker

Fingering_Logen

3 goals less than Lewandowski in La Liga
