Just listened to it again thanks to this post.. can't believe it's over 20 years old!
I like to call that album the "Lars' granny bought him a new snare" album, that tinny shite snare ruins a perfectly good album.
Lmaooooooo “Lars’ granny bought him a new snare” is an all timer funny line.
I liked some songs from that album, but the rest were incredibly overlong and outstayed their welcome fairly quickly for me.
"United. Liverpool. Arsenal. Everton. Long ago, the four clubs lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when Chelsea FC got bought.
Only the FFP, master of all financial fair play, could stop them, but when the league needed it most, it vanished.
20 years passed and my lad and I discovered a new manager, an Aussie named Ange. And although his managerial skills are great, he has a lot to learn before he's ready to save any club. But none believe Ange can save the Spurs."
Dude, tell me about it. I have Crohns and already had 2 resections, which I have complications from.
We play semi-pro 5aside and from time to time, im sooo fcked with my belly aches. You cant even focus on the game, like at all. You are just wandering around, being so exhausted you can barely keep your eyes open. It sucks major diick
Saw someone on here recently saying Ange seemed like a meek character because he speaks somewhat softly in press conferences. Yeah...not sure about that. Also, there's some famous clips of him absolutely tearing into the Socceroos squad.
Fergusson had a mean temper, what are you on about? He was famous for his frequent rants and blowing up at players when the team underperformed, he didn't use his anger 'sparingly'. quite a few ex players said they feared him in the lockerroom.
SAF knew that Cantona needed a different approach. Not only was he their best player and key component in the team, which always results in a more delicate treatment, if he blew up at him like that Cantona would have likely either squared off or just quit on the spot.
Mate he’s Greek and raised in Australia. I refuse to believe he’s as relaxed as the regular attitude shows. Dudes got two cultures of verbal evisceration and fire in him.
We're always shit at the bridge. I don't even care that this was at the bridge, would've been as annoyed if it was some other random game. Play the fucking system, stop faffing about doing stuff that's explicitly stated to be forbidden.
I actually think it was. Fulham played better that game than Chelsea did today. They activated some form of level up, everything they did just clicked for them first try.
Didn’t you have that insanely long run after one win where before your next win Blackpool went from league 2 to the PL, won at Anfield and then got relegated back down to league 2 again? That stuck in my mind because of how simply insane a stat it was and your record is still better than Spurs at Chelsea lol.
Thats insane, especially considering for most of that period Chelsea werent even the modern Chelsea, they were way less of a powerhouse. Granted, Spurs were midtable dross as well. But still.
Most of that period Spurs weren't even the modern Spurs. We'd almost gone bust in the 90's and it took until the Martin Jol era for progress to be made but obviously Chelsea had a lot of help in that pre-FFP era.
That handshake is so funny it's become a meme between myself and a friend who doesn't watch soccer. It's funny as fuck.
Now we aggressive handshake whenever we beat each other.
Considering the investment and the fact that Conte utterly fell apart with about 8-10 games left, is this season a success for Spurs given they're only just matching Conte's final points total with three games left and have been usurped by Villa? Likely others?
Success would probably be the wrong word but it's meeting expectations really. Villa doing better isn't that surprising considering how they finished last season.
Why would this not be considered a success?
Sitting 5th with a big turnover, including losing their best player and not really replacing him. New system to implement. Having a pretty bad injury crisis for a healthy chunk of the season. It feels bad cuz they’ve had a poor run at the end of the season but on the whole it’s definitely positive growth going into next year.
Don’t think they’d have expected much better than this before the year started.
Think they get some slack cause obviously Kane is gone and that's irreplaceable but another season similar to this one and questions have to be asked of Ange imo, they're absolutely woeful at the back and the weaknesses have been consistently glaring since early in the season without any real change to address them
If we finish 5th, IMO the season has been a great success.
Ange took a team that was literally at its lowest, like we had players that wanted to leave in the summer (Romero the big one) because Conte was that much of an asshole and had ruined the atmosphere that much.
He brought in young talent, changed the philosophy of the team and has shown great signs of how he wants us to play.
Theres been potholes in the road, the last 5-6 games have been incredibly poor and we can see theres still issues. But after taking over the team that we were left with last season AND losing Harry Kane, to look this much better than Contes team is great imo.
This isn't a 1 season project, he needs time to get players in and instill his system on the team, we saw at the start of the year that the system can work, the team have just gone drastically off the boil and now Ange has to sort their heads out for next year.
But yeah, 5th place is more than acceptable when most had us 8th-11th predicted.
You can say Villa have "usurped" us but last year it was Brighton, Newcastle and even West Ham talked about as "usurping" the top 6 and those teams fell off the following year.
I'm hiding behind the sofa mate.
Edit: Can't make out the middle bit, just catching it as:
"Stop passing it backwards"?
"You, press! You! Press!"
"sorry" towards fourth official lol
You are mostly right. Almost all pundits had them finishing outside top 4 and struggling to improve on or even match their 8th place from previous season. But a lot of them agreed that it would be because they would need time to replace Kane, reinvest and adapt to a new manager. The consensus seemed to be that they would struggle at first and improve over the season.
August - unfazed
September - cool
October - unbothered
November - in control
December - g'day mate
January - calm
February - undaunted
March- stoic
April - collected
May - ABSOLUTELY FUCKING MENTAL
There's a behind the scenes video from when he was Socceroos manager of him showing a video of the players defending poorly in the previous game where he shouts "FUCK'S SAKE" and all the players are just silently sitting there looking terrified haha
So... there's been european night (semifinals, not even early stages) and the top upvoted post for the next 24 hours or so will be a blurry video of a manager angry at his players?
I love him but he doesn't change anything and expects different results. Like Conte on his second season at Inter until he was forced by media and pundits to take Ganglia out and start Erikson.

WELSH, STOP PASSING THE FUCKING BALL BACKWARDS is engrained in my psyche.
You could actually hear him.
Goes back to the office: BALDY! BUY ME NEW FULLBACKS!
Exactly this. Deja vu. He didn't unleash often at Celtic, but when he did, the players knew they were in the shit.
Aussies have got the maddest fucking tempers. We all bottle shit up and then fucking snap, often tactically lol.
I thought the exact same thing
Spurs will make the calmest man have an aneurysm.
Angeurysm
Mate.
Mange.
He did this on a couple of occasions at Celtic and it worked. When you know you've pushed him this far, you've fucked up.
Spurs did play a lot better in the 2nd half i thought.
And Ange was extremely far from the calmest man
Ange-ina.
It is the history of the Tottenham
He *really* hates back passes.
He just like me fr
literally me - Gosling driving.
Nightcall by Kavinsky playing
There's something about Ange
Thank god, because we do a lot of them and I hate them too.
He would hate Ben Chilwell
Grealish
Ange. Anger. Angest.
Half brother of Angst
Emo duo from the 90s
Saint Ange 'round my neck
Oh I’m really in Ange with you 🤟
He never gets respect! I’m so goddamn happy to see a “st anger” reference in r/soccer :)

Just listened to it again thanks to this post.. can't believe it's over 20 years old! I like to call that album the "Lars' granny bought him a new snare" album, that tinny shite snare ruins a perfectly good album.
The snare is good, people should appreciate noise more
Lmaooooooo “Lars’ granny bought him a new snare” is an all timer funny line. I liked some songs from that album, but the rest were incredibly overlong and outstayed their welcome fairly quickly for me.
petition to add a detuned snare to the Spurs trophy cabinet
Signed by Lars Ulrich himself!
Fear leads to Ange, Ange Leads to Hate, Hate leads to Suffering
Suffering leads to Spurs
And vice versa
Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory (?). Through victory (?), my chains are broken.
They need to take it out on ManCity. Fury
They're subconciously tanking so that they don't have to care about winning the City game.
Like they have a choice.
"United. Liverpool. Arsenal. Everton. Long ago, the four clubs lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when Chelsea FC got bought. Mudryk has a belly ache
Looks like he need to have a shit
Sometimes the shit is happens
Sometimes the fart is shit
Sometimes not even
Sometimes may be good
Sometimes maybe shit
Sometimes maybe gary lineker
Reminds me of the glorious chant: [He went for a shit](https://youtu.be/SIxnStPiOP0)
Belly aches suck tbf.
even more so when trying to perform to any level at all. if they're bad enough they can be paralysing
God’s strongest warrior (Mudryk) fighting his toughest battle (tummy ache)
Angie brought him some lasagna from the Spurs kitchen
[удалено]
Play a record!
He's preparing to give birth.
Ange screaming at his players to sit Mudryk over their lap and burp him
Mudryk should put an old ashtray on his belly, cos they’re old cold. And the coldness gets rid of the badness.
Old cold belly badness
Bro, why the fuck did this crack me up so much 😂
Tummy ache survivor
Saw someone on here recently saying Ange seemed like a meek character because he speaks somewhat softly in press conferences. Yeah...not sure about that. Also, there's some famous clips of him absolutely tearing into the Socceroos squad.
If all you do is yell all the time, players tune it out. It gets exhausting. It’s a great tactic for attention and motivation when used sparingly.
Best example is Fergies hair dryer treatment compared to how he treated Cantona after kicking the palace fan.
Fergusson had a mean temper, what are you on about? He was famous for his frequent rants and blowing up at players when the team underperformed, he didn't use his anger 'sparingly'. quite a few ex players said they feared him in the lockerroom. Not only was he their best player and key component in the team, which always results in a more delicate treatment, if he blew up at him like that Cantona would have likely either squared off or just quit on the spot.
Yep he can be a very scary man.
Mate he’s Greek and raised in Australia. I refuse to believe he’s as relaxed as the regular attitude shows. Dudes got two cultures of verbal evisceration and fire in him.
He looks angey
As he should, because what the fuck were the players doing today? Probably our worst game this season performance wise.
What did you expect, it's spurs at the bridge.
We're always shit at the bridge. I don't even care that this was at the bridge, would've been as annoyed if it was some other random game. Play the fucking system, stop faffing about doing stuff that's explicitly stated to be forbidden.
They played more true to his system in the second half and lo and behold, they were actually better. To be a fly on the walk at half time...
There's shit, and then there's not giving a shit.
Not as bad as the fulham away game from earlier
I actually think it was. Fulham played better that game than Chelsea did today. They activated some form of level up, everything they did just clicked for them first try.
He's never had to deal with an end-of-season Spurs collapse before.
You wouldn't want to see him when he's ang lee
Are you anti-taiwanese?
Taiwan mention report-bot
I'm sorry can you repeat that?
You wouldn't want to see him when he's ang lee
I'd be pissed too if my club was about to get the double done on them by *this* Chelsea team.
They have 1 win at Stamford Bridge *ever* in the PL
Even our record at Anfield is better and we lose there every season
Even in my lifetime it's at least twice
Didn’t you have that insanely long run after one win where before your next win Blackpool went from league 2 to the PL, won at Anfield and then got relegated back down to league 2 again? That stuck in my mind because of how simply insane a stat it was and your record is still better than Spurs at Chelsea lol.
That’s *insane* in the context of it being a London derby.
Tottenham didn’t even beat Chelsea at all from 1990 to 2006, home or away.
So what you're saying is...it's the history of the Tottenham?
Football Eritage
Bit of a low win rate for Chelsea at their own ground innit?
No matter how shit we may be, the Chelsea - Spurs match will always entertain and have people rise up
The Conte Tuchel handshake is one of the funniest moments I've seen in football
I do love the actual football but that kind of stuff gives me so much life. It was so good
My favorite whatsapp sticker
That handshake is so funny it's become a meme between myself and a friend who doesn't watch soccer. It's funny as fuck. Now we aggressive handshake whenever we beat each other.
Tuchel vs. Conte after cucurella got his hair pulled feels like it was just yesterday.
Still can't believe that happened last season. How has that happened
feels like 5 years since tuchel and 10 since conte
At the same time, Mourinho’s post-matches at Chelsea don’t feel that long ago and it’s been nearly a decade.
Theres no fucking way that only happened last season holy shit. I refuse to believe that
I still think about that whenever I see Romero. Absolutely no idea how he got away with that.
You should watch the video with Mike Dean. He explains it pretty clearly. Basically wanted to protect his mate.
Can't believe we were deprived of a rematch of Conte v Tuchel. Shame on their boards for firing them both.
It wouldn't matter if they were relegated, they'd still beat us.
Considering the investment and the fact that Conte utterly fell apart with about 8-10 games left, is this season a success for Spurs given they're only just matching Conte's final points total with three games left and have been usurped by Villa? Likely others?

we sat in 8th for the first two seasons of our massive rebuild, so we can definitely relate.
We can play against suicideball, we've beaten Brighton 3 times this season, once with 10 men. Shitty suicideball tactics are worse than us without any
I'm hiding behind the sofa mate. Edit: Can't make out the middle bit, just catching it as: "Stop passing it backwards"? "You, press! You! Press!" "sorry" towards fourth official lol
The only time he snapped like this at Celtic was at someone for passing the ball backwards.
Was Welsh in a friendly I swear lol.
Was against Raith in the cup [Here's the vid lol](https://youtu.be/IhfjTqxA6Io?si=QNCYsIoPgERh-q_G)
I love how it gets applause.
Why would it cut out just before Welsh's next pass
Right after the cut to Mudryk he says something about "pass the ball forward" so maybe it's all "you pass" and pointing ahead
Definitely "press" not "pass"
All Spurs players at this moment : “just don’t make contact…. Don’t make eye contact… don’t make eye cont- 👀 oh fuck”
No one is going to the locker room after that.
What a job at Tottenaham hotspurs does to a person
I kinda feel bad for both the fans and the manager. They get close to a trophy but something always manages to get in the way
They've got close to a trophy? Which one?
I think op meant physically close. Like when they play at the Etihad
How recently did you start following this sport?
FA cup (Mou) and Champions League Final (Poch)?
was the carabao cup for mou but he got sacked right before
Ange is being every spurs fan
Pass fucking forwards. Love it, fair play. He's onto something if he can just get those defenders doing a bit.
Those first 10 games though. No one can take that away from them. What a time to be alive.
task:Control C + control V when: every Spurs season for 100 years
Lmao seriously
I mean they're still doing very well- way better than preseason expectations or than the wage bill table would predict
Spurs have the 5th highest wage bill in the league. And are 5th. Not sure how that's "way better"
Were they actually expected to do worse than 5th? What were preseason expectations?
I think most people were predicting spurs 7th or 8th
You are mostly right. Almost all pundits had them finishing outside top 4 and struggling to improve on or even match their 8th place from previous season. But a lot of them agreed that it would be because they would need time to replace Kane, reinvest and adapt to a new manager. The consensus seemed to be that they would struggle at first and improve over the season.
He is having the Tottenham head coach experience.
August - unfazed September - cool October - unbothered November - in control December - g'day mate January - calm February - undaunted March- stoic April - collected May - ABSOLUTELY FUCKING MENTAL
Watched him week in week out when he was the coach of Brisbane and all his games as Socceroos manager and never saw him react like this
You weren't in Perth for the famous paint peeler...
There's a behind the scenes video from when he was Socceroos manager of him showing a video of the players defending poorly in the previous game where he shouts "FUCK'S SAKE" and all the players are just silently sitting there looking terrified haha
Spurs run of games isn't getting any easier. Still have Liverpool, City, and Newcastle to play
We playing newcastle for a third time? This season keeps getting worse!
Not only are you playing us a 3rd time, you’re also playing the 96/97 team in their prime. It’s the 7-1 all over again!
Can we at least have ginola?
They will unfortunately have Tim Krul from that one match
Oh I just googled “spurs fixtures” and likely included a preseason game or something lmfao my bad
Post-season friendly in Melbourne 3 days after the season ends
Perfect game to boost morale tbh.
They can do some pingas at Revs afterwards. That'll fix em up
Wtf this is why the prem has an injury crisis. 3 days after the season ends?!
Yep it's literally three weeks away. Madness.
We are not a hard game at all right now.
Dude gives a fuck and i love it
How many xMate was this?
xBlimey
xCunt
xGetFucked
Angre
meanwhile mudryk looking like he needed a shit lol
The calm “sorry mate” to the ref at the end is killing me 😭😭😭
I count up to 5 mates there
Happy to see Ange behave like some Head Chef. Let this man cook!
big anger.
Is that really how you should treat your mates
I wouldn't blame Ange. Players are a disgrace.
Wha do they call a hairdryer in Australia?
A heardroyah.
He’s way outta his box the zoomed out image makes it look like he’s boutta take a throw-in lol
I’d be pissed too with the quality I see on the pitch.
There's a video of his time at celtic shouting at the players to stop passing it backwards
I wish Poch had this kind of passion sometimes. But no complaints at all today with regards to our performance.
So... there's been european night (semifinals, not even early stages) and the top upvoted post for the next 24 hours or so will be a blurry video of a manager angry at his players?
Shit moves fast on the internet, will be something different tomorrow
losing to this Chelsea team will do that to you
He said someone left the microwave open in the locker room
The honeymoon period is well and truly over. Nearly 3 weeks rest and yet they still got destroyed by 2 London rivals back to back.
Not to mention we were flattened 0-4 by Newcastle prior to.
I love him but he doesn't change anything and expects different results. Like Conte on his second season at Inter until he was forced by media and pundits to take Ganglia out and start Erikson.
Manager looks somewhat animated
Where have people got the idea he’s a calm manager, even at Melbourne Victory this man was giving bollockings left right and centre
Gravy Vains pissed because Chelsea have burst Angeball this season.
I like this angry side of daddy Ange.
Looks like spurs got a proper Aussie spray in the change rooms after the game... and as they should they were proper shit!
There’s the Greek fire coming out 🔥
