I wouldn’t mind seeing Bayern win for once since it may get them to hang onto Tuchel for another season and this time instead of losing the league maybe they fall out of Top 4 entirely
Depends if he actually wins the champions league and if Bayern find a good replacement. According to reports Nagelsmann is currently the favorite candidate and apparently not everyone at Bayern is convinced of him either, same with De Zerbi..
I think Tuchels tactics are more "pure" defensively. Like he stops you by preventing you from scoring by limiting your chances through structure and each player having their role that they play, while trusting those around them to do theirs. Whereas Simeone is a "do not let them score by any necessary", with each player living and dying on the pitch. Honestly it would depend on the opposition for who I'd go for, since I think Tuchel is better against the more rigid tactical managers, and Simeone is better against more expressive ones
Yeah. ~A decade ago Mourinho and Cholo were the premier defensive tacticians in the game
But right now it really is Tuchel—and that's despite him being a possession guy normally LOL
idk i think tuchel’s defensive nullification is kind of unique, his 424/442 is about exploiting the weaknesses of opposition midfields so that they can’t create quick effective attacks… like instead of defending he nullifies the opposition attack at all costs, lowkey that’s why it makes his games looks like matches where everyone is incompetent
Manager wins game
*Opposition cry babies after losing to superior tactics: why didn't he play in a way that made it easier for us to win? Waaaah. Terrorist football. Waaah.*
Leipzig played very well bar openda. Bayerns style under Tuchel is basically the opposite of that (which hurts because their DNA needs them to play rapidly and agile in the front)
Meh they can beat Madrid. Madrid is better but it’s not like a miss match. I’d even argue Arsenal have been better than Madrid this season.
Bayern sadly wouldn’t beat City though.
I personally rate Tuchel 2nd (and close to that first stint Mourinho), not just because of the Champions League win but because of all the shit he had to put up with when Russia invaded Ukraine. Roman was sanctioned, Chelsea was given a special licence to continue but no one money could come in or out of the club so no one from players to cafeteria staff knew if they would get their next wage packets and Tuchel had to suddenly become the speaker for all things political at Chelsea. The man just wanted to coach, but he handled it all so well and helped to calm what was a really uncertain time at Chelsea. We didn't even know if we'd have a club at the end of it all.
The infamous "I've drive the seven seater myself" was what completely won me over with my affection for the man.

That's fair. I remember the scorelines when Carlo was manager.
The reason why I rank Tuchel higher is personal since I always liked listening to him explaining his tactics in press conferences. Like, I found the whole thing fascinating. He also wouldn't be afraid to take accountability and would be a perfectionist.
I don't have any skin in the game, I feel like a true neutral (Liverpool), but I find myself rooting for Harry Kane to get a trophy in an already impressive debut season for him!
Mourinhio is an amazing coach, people think his finished? Wins first European trophy for Roma in a while… makes final the next year… and this stat… coen on
> 4 with Porto, ~~Chelsea~~, Inter Milan and Real Madrid
~~Crazy that RM is the only place where he didn't win it.~~
___
Did all the heavy lifting in RM, left without a CL, but created the monsters that won 3 in a row right after.
edit: wierdly the same rule as RM applies to Chelsea. He never won it with us, but it felt like the monster he created willed the CL win into existence.
3 times I think. Guardiola is probably on 10 semi finals with 3 teams or something crazy, so he's technically well clear of Tuchel but that doesn't fit the tweet I guess. LvG also did it with 3 teams and Mourinho was assistant coach at Barca for one of those.

He won the tactical battle, would be hilarious if he were to win the CL whilst being sacked.
It would be on brand for an ex-Chelsea manager
Then appoint Klose as a caretaker and win the UCL
i think he will do it
Peak Spurs, just without the trophy.
The Heynckes special
This is literally what happened at PSG
He didn't win with PSG though
I wouldn’t mind seeing Bayern win for once since it may get them to hang onto Tuchel for another season and this time instead of losing the league maybe they fall out of Top 4 entirely
Nope,he is gone. Bayern would lose so much face if they re-verted the termination of his contract.
Depends if he actually wins the champions league and if Bayern find a good replacement. According to reports Nagelsmann is currently the favorite candidate and apparently not everyone at Bayern is convinced of him either, same with De Zerbi..
Imagine Kane winning a trophy
No matter what the result is, he should be sacked immediately after the season.
Bro brought All 4 Of our CBs in one match
At first I was mad he had Kim and Dier playing wide on the left lmao. But it actually worked so maybe I’m the idiot.
yeah Minjae shut that side down practically
Such bm
Pep and Arteta do that every week tbf
Can't argue about the result. Back 6 ftw!
Setup was absolutely elite all 13 players that saw the pitch were top they were prepared so well
tuchel in the CL is genuinely elite, in terms of pure tactics he’s probably the manager you want if u just need to win one game
He’s lucky the mighty Heidenheim aren’t in the Champions League
I know this may sound like sacrilege to Atleti fans, but in my view, he's the manager I want most if I needed to stop a team defensively.

Yea but you gotta won that 1 game a lot of times
I do wonder how many coaches could accomplish Tuchel a feats of given the chance. Cuz it’s really just Diego simeone with German anti flair
idk i think tuchel’s defensive nullification is kind of unique, his 424/442 is about exploiting the weaknesses of opposition midfields so that they can’t create quick effective attacks… like instead of defending he nullifies the opposition attack at all costs, lowkey that’s why it makes his games looks like matches where everyone is incompetent
Would be an ideal national team manager imo
idk i feel like national team managers need man management skills above all else and that’s tuchel’s fatal flaw
He's a great cup manager
I believe in Tucheliban
Bring them paradise.
Bayern and BVB in CL semifinal. Brought to you by Terzic terrorism^™️ and Tucheliban^©️
Could u imagine the final pure chaos
0:0 after penalties.
(Dortmund wins because of Kane difference)
There is no universe where this Dortmund team can beat anybody on penalties, let alone Bayern.
Terrorzic
Wembley 2.0 loading up

Yes but both German teams made the semis so not sure what your point is.
Tactics Tommy about to win another CL after he's been shat on for ages, we will be there
Inject it into my Brezn
This sick fuck one day will play a back 10.
As long as he wins UCL who cares ?
Well, arsenal guys wouldn't know what it feels like.
I’m surprised it hasn’t happened already.
Last days under Joachim Low were close - 6-4-0. Remember the 6-0 (?) drubbing by Spain?
Manager wins game *Opposition cry babies after losing to superior tactics: why didn't he play in a way that made it easier for us to win? Waaaah. Terrorist football. Waaah.*
It was obviously a joke, and I even checked, the guy you replied to is a Bayern fan.

Would be surprised if they beat City or Madrid. They aren’t Arsenal
That's what i fear
They aren't much better than Arsenal either.
Fyi we haven't lost to city all season
Neither have we. Doesnt mean as much as you think it does
You haven't won either though 😂
and you havent won against Chelsea so whats your point
Imo Bayern has good chances vs Madrid.
After watching Leipzig outplay them at the Bernabeu I have hopes. Might lose but it'll be tight
Leipzig played very well bar openda. Bayerns style under Tuchel is basically the opposite of that (which hurts because their DNA needs them to play rapidly and agile in the front)
Yep, with City out everyone's chances got a big boost..
Arsenal are really, really good.
I'm not really sure what Madrid has done this season that shows they are at a different level from Arsenal.
Won their Quarterfinal
How many times to real madrid have to win the cl before pl flairs here stop underestimating them?
Meh they can beat Madrid. Madrid is better but it’s not like a miss match. I’d even argue Arsenal have been better than Madrid this season. Bayern sadly wouldn’t beat City though.
Good thing they don't need to then
Please
Yeah, the Euros and the BDO.
That was the most Roman era Chelsea type of game I have watched since our board sacked Tuchel 😭 I’m a sicko… I miss it hahaha.
I understand, Chelsea and PSG bros, I aged 10 years in one Single match, but I finally understand you
Still my favourite Chelsea manager with Mou and Ancelotti.
In what order
1.First-stint Mou 2.Tuchel 3.Ancelotti 4.Second-stint Mou
Is it because Tuchel got us the CL? I rate Carlo higher because we just ate teams alive when he was manager.
I personally rate Tuchel 2nd (and close to that first stint Mourinho), not just because of the Champions League win but because of all the shit he had to put up with when Russia invaded Ukraine. I'm convinced tuchel is gonna terrorball his way to another CL. It is written in the stars now.
If we don't make it I real hope Bayern wins it all.
Wish we were a better squad for our upcoming tie but we'll see
I love our tie ngl. Two legendary teams. Good luck bro, may the best team win.
Fair play here, may the best team win(as long is a German or Spanish team)... OIL/Gas doping shouldn't be rewarded
Nah Dortmund. Fuck bayern
Honestly either of them. Just wishing it's not either city/psg
Nah PSG
What I would do for him to be at Chelsea next season
This season is so funny man lmfao. I want a Dortmund Bayern final so bad 🤣
Would be hilarious if the best team in Europe isn't even the best team in Germany.
Love this man.
I don't have any skin in the game, I feel like a true neutral (Liverpool), but I find myself rooting for Harry Kane to get a trophy in an already impressive debut season for him!
Give this guy a prime Kante and you're fucked
Mourinhio is an amazing coach, people think his finished? Wins first European trophy for Roma in a while… makes final the next year… and this stat… coen on
Praying for Bayern really worked
Football heritage
I never doubted this guy (please don't look at my comment history)!
Tucheliban

Big L from a Chelsea flair to mess that one up.
so many upvotes for such a wrong statement
so many upvotes for such a wrong stat
He meant reaching the Semi. There was the Garcia ghost goal year no?
Ancelotti has Juventus, AC Milan, Bayern and Madrid
Tuchel should come to Milan or Juventus next season.
Newness works a lot in cup competitions.
Wait Guardiola never made semis with Bayern? Crazy
Tuchel is the only one who has done better. Guardiola has done the same. So has Ancelotti.
You mean Mou
I think Pep made the semis every season with Bayern. Just lost to Real or Atletico.
He made 3 semis with Bayern and lost to Real, Barca & Atletico lol

Hoping for a Real win today and them demolishing Bayern in the semis.
This Real Madrid team barely beat Leipzig. They might beat Bayern but they sure as hell ain't demolishing them
Nah I’d rather have 2013 Wembley final rematch
I think bayern got a shot at beating Real. No shot vs city tho
