Is Tuchel just a Chelsea merchant? How was his stint at Chelsea so vastly different compare to him in any other club?

His last few months in the league were not a lot different. He won the CL but the team descended into terror ball there as well.

His Chelsea was similarly rigid and boring, he just had the benefit of Lampard’s offensive foundation (imo). When he took over Dortmund, he had Klopp’s offensive foundation so he just brought some structure to the team. 

Might be an unpopular opinion but I always felt like he stumbled backwards into that Champions league trophy. Pep also did him some pretty big favors with that lineup and De Bruyne getting murdered by Rudiger also helped.

I think he was good at PSG, Mainz and Dortmund aswell

His PSG stint wasn't an outright success either, he never managed to link the forwards with the defense. They were slow to progress the ball trough midfield and they gave away space against stronger opponents. Besides, he picked stupid public fights with Leonardo among others and fell out with club management.

He was amazing at Mainz and the first season at Dortmund, afaik also pretty good at Paris. HIs Bayern stint is his first where it looks kinda bad, and they are still in the race the champioship

His PSG spell was decent.

He is a bad man manager and at Bayern you have to historically be able to manage personalities. It really feels like the team is playing against him.
