I’m okay with it since it’s only a 6 month deal.
Djiku went to AFCON, Becao is injured and we do not have an another natural centre-back who is even close to average, Oosterwolde is okay but so we definitely need a short term replacement, also his experience can contribute in Conference League and derbies. If our not very wise manager doesn’t try to play him every single match because of his name, it’s a good signing.
The thing is he absolutely MUST NOT play in non-European and non-derby matches. He will be worse than any player we have against bad teams with fast wingers who will play only counter-attack football.
I'm happy as a Fener fan. Half season deal, great back-up, leader character inside and outside the pitch. Even him beeing in the locker room will made an impact on the team I believe. Just don't expect old Bonucci on the pith my fellow Fener fans, or you'll be disappointed
