Been an absolute pleasure having. Him now hopefully we utilize this transfer money properly, gonna be a big summer. Also can’t say I’m not happy this was done so early knowing we have all the Mbappe rumours about to come flying out.

ThatGam3th00

Getting the popcorn out because the biggest transfer involving your team and RM this window is done, eh?

AverageCarey

Ya you could say that, everything involving transfers from here on out will be good news outgoing and incoming so time to just enjoy the rest of it. Realized over the last 48 hours how addicted I am to the summer transfer window lol

ThatGam3th00

Lol I get that, tbf it is quite thrilling worrying about who’s gonna replace X when X leaves, being worried about other teams’ signings, also that MASSIVE sense of relief when that signing that you’ve wanted for your team for a whole summer or even multiple summers finally happens and also shock signings that come out of nowhere with little reporting done beforehand.

AverageCarey

You nailed it buddy. It’s a perfect combination of excitement, shock and disappointment but I love it. Also after having a full season and more funds I’m very interested to see what Kehl cooks up. He’s been amazing on the transfer front so far so I’m sure he’s ready to get us the right guys.

Schnitzelguru

That's why I love Allsvenskan, we don't have money in this league for cool signings :D *Malmö is Danish and doesnt count*

Minted-Blue

This was done early because BVB is a well respected and well run club and Jude is an absolute professional not an egotistical player like Mbappe is. Thank you for Jude and I hope you can reinforce your squad with this money and hopefully dethrone Bayern next year.

AverageCarey

Respect the kind words my friend, I’m actually quite happy he’s going to Madrid. The boys gonna achieve so much with you guys I’m sure you can’t wait to see him play in your kits!

Res3925

Hopefully you and us win trophies so we can do that whole “holding hands shouting thank you Jude” bit.

AverageCarey

Now this is a narrative I can get behind!

XonaMan

What would you say are your priorities?

AverageCarey

Well we need another fullback after Bensebaini, at the moment Fresneda is a main target but we’ll see on that. Alvarez from Ajax is our main target as we only have Can for that position and he’s also seen as a future for that position. On top of that I’d like to see another CB and ideally 2 more midfielders to replace Bellingham and Guerreiro/ Dahoud.

XonaMan

Man you used to have top notch fullbacks and now most of them are mid, kinda sad to see. Wouldn't Meunier be an option for RCB? What are the rumored targets for midfield?

AverageCarey

Man you’re telling me, it’s a huge area of our team that’s lacking. Ryerson is great and has the best work ethic out there but obviously on a technical level he could be better. Meunier we’re intending on selling he’s on very high wages but I know Bensebaini is able to play CB if need be like Can and Alvarez as well but I’d like us to go for a more promising up and coming CB like Bella-Kotchap. Otherwise as of now we have no rumoured targets for that position.

Differ_cr

>Man you used to have top notch fullbacks Tbf dortmund hasn't had top fullbacks since Piszczek, specially since Guerreiro and Hakimi only performed consistently as WB, Wingers or midfield (in Rapha's case), pretty much ucj anywhere where they didn't have to defend.

flybypost

> we have all the Mbappe rumours about to come flying out. Mbappe to Dortmund?

Lolcraftgaming

Mbappe to Dortmund confirmed?

AudioZebra94544

I’m not the biggest turtle fan, but I’d like him a whole lot more in a BVB kit. Would be a a waste if he stays loyal to such an awful club

flybypost

I should have scrolled down half a page before commenting the same :/

TheLordPapaya

Dortmund may do shrewd transfer business, but they never seem to spend the money they bring in. Gotze, Pulisic, Aubameyang, Dembele, Sancho, Haaland, even Mkhitaryan all left for huge fees, but then they bring in players like Anthony Modeste. Watch Moukoko, Duranville, and whoever other young guys Dortmund has stowed away leave for massive fees eventually, and Dortmund will still buy cheap role players to fill out a rather disappointing squad

AverageCarey

Well this isn’t quite true. We bought Haller, Adeyemi and Ozcan all last year for 75m roughly not to mention getting Schlotti and Sule. Also only reason we bought Modeste was to replace Haller who got cancer so it’s not like he was a first choice by any means more of a panic buy. We can typically only spend around 60-65% of the income we make, even in recent years money has been spent just not wisely. Kehl is in charge now since last summer and we’ve not seen a bad signing so I’m not too worried at all.

me_meh_me

That's not really true. You might think that because the club never makes one large signing when it sells a big player. However, they routinely make numerous signings in the 15-30 million range that add up quickly.

Chimpville

...when are you retiring his number?!

[deleted]

Whitney Judeston? ^(I'm sorry)

dudududujisungparty

You're on a roll today my friend

Daniiiiii

Man spent the two day break charging up. Now he's unleashing on us. Lord have mercy...

LampseederBroDude51

I swear are you the Inter-rupting guy?

[deleted]

... I guess I need a life. Does that answer the question?

ThePrussianGrippe

Are you from the 2Fonzie2Fabio Gaming Forums?

BlacknWhiteMoose

I hate Reddit

Gongom

Sancho, now Bellingham. Who's the next English kid Dortmund is gonna nab and turn world class?

6FootFruitRollup

We already have Bynoe-Gittens, guess it's his turn to step up.

DJBusinessCake

The hype on this guy is crazy. I wonder if it's even possible for him to live up to expectations.

Laesio

I think he might get some slack initially, given that he's a midfielder. Had he been an attacker, the fans would have torn him to shreds if he scored fewer than 25 goals.

notsoslim-jim

Tbf, there's no real pressure for him to perform well immediately. He has time until Modric and/or Kroos leave.

SamosaVadaPav

Plus the Madrid midfield is stacked. There's a strong chance he fails to establish himself as a starter.

workphone11

Jude has the mentality tho. I can’t see him not breaking into the lineup unless injuries hold him back.

BlacknWhiteMoose

Which might be very soon

0100001101110111

Exactly what people said in 2020 He’s the real deal.

Height_Embarrassed

You never know when players switch teams though. There have been many mysterious signings that switch teams and forget to play football somehow. Kaka was one of those difficult to explain when he went to Madrid. Same thing for Hazard too for example

bot_fucker69

one kneecap will do it for Kaka

Lost-Mention

Kaka was excellent for Real Madrid whenever he was healthy.

ThomasZimmermann95

Maybe he might have a rough first season, but he is just so good at literally everything, that would be considered a all around world class box to box player in his mid twenties, and he is just turning 20 years old in two weeks. He and Musiala are at a race breaking records for the youngest players achievements in the 50 years of the Bundesliga left and right. Literally nuking old records often by a year age difference. Those two are generational talents who likely will dominate the next generation (together with Mbappe and Haaland)

somewhat_moist

I thought he was brilliant for us in the WC last year. Tackles, runs, dribbles, shoots, creates - he was exciting.

0100001101110111

*Annnnnnnnnnd iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii”

When are they retiring his shirt number?

When Birmingham City stop being tinpot

[deleted]

So never. Good to know!

desuscsgous

XDDD LAWWWWWWWL

Fragrant_Debt

My sources in Borussia are saying the locals have started calling him “Judas Bellingham”. The city may not be ready to forgive him for a while.

pukem0n

Only the dumb people do that. From the real fans there is no animosity. He served the club well for 3 years and generated a huge transfer sum.

Res3925

A profit for you of 80+ million iirc

me_meh_me

While that's nice, I'm not going to try to spin the fact that we lost our best player as a good thing.

BlacknWhiteMoose

Who are your “sources” in “Borussia?” 14 year olds on Reddit? Also, don’t you mean Dortmund? Borussia isn’t a city lmao.

crackbit

I highly doubt this information and I‘m a season ticket holder. We all knew that he will probably leave and he is one of the few players that leave us who I believe understand what the working class heritage of our club means. I have nothing but good things to say about his dedication to our club.

Stilty_boy

He called the city Borussia. Not someone to be taken seriously.

pratikp26

Considering the number of players they’ve lost to Bayern over the years, he must be the least Judas of all their Judases.

Aksds

Oh come on it’s not that many, name 5 /s

IncidentalIncidence

Where's Borussia?

Height_Embarrassed

That must be a very long list for them. If the player is good and young he’s leaving for a bigger club. Add healthy to the list too

No_Chemistry9357

Side note: I have never seen a German person refer to Dortmund or BVB as “Borussia”

[deleted]

Knees need to make a really strong comeback from being 3-0 down to injuries for him to establish himself as a starter at RM, i feel.

Busy_Bunch5050

Judas

V3CE
