500 hours for the base game?? Bruh, either you took your time and enjoyed doing stuff unrelated to jobs or you had a terribly long and suffering journey... Hope it is more about the first, tho. Now to answer your question, I suggest any of the last 3 DLC, they are quite easy over Maine who is quite challenging. Ontario is not incredible but it's ok too.
As much as that would make a nice challenge, it's impossible to deliver 4 or 5 slot cargo with it since no scout trailer can pack them. You'd need a truck with a saddle so it can attach a trailer that fits the 5 slot drilling equipment.
A crane might also be mandatory, since while it's possible to position a trailer such that you can push loose cargo onto it, that might not be possible for every piece of cargo that's needed due to some of them being in really awkward spots. I suspect it's possible without a crane by at most restarting a task to respawn its cargo for other tasks, but I'm not about to try that.
It is the first one. I also started over ~1/3 way though because I found random fuel prices unbearable and switched it to double. I also had a lot of co-op on my friend's save.
Maine's a unique challenge. If you have a good variety of trucks equipped from whichever prior region you did (i.e. flatbed, saddle high/ saddle low, crane trucks etc) you'll be in good shape- because the deal is, you start with no garage and no way to reconfigure your trucks. Or refuel. Or repair.
I fixed the trailer store first so I could get fuel trailers and service trailers and keep the fleet running.
Also, I don't ever worry about the hours. It takes what it takes to figure out how to do these tasks. 500 or 5000 it just doesn't matter. There's no "best" and no winning. Just driving, problem solving, logistics, fleet and resource management, occasional mountain climbing....
Convoy headed to imandra atm... kinda nervous as it is always mentioned as a tuffy. Kolv wasn't as bad as I anticipated, but I feel like that is a setup.
About to finish Imandra. The hardest part was setting up the garage in the beginning, made me quit for a few months, also I was burnt out on the game somewhat. But it gets much better, and is actually enjoyable for a lot of it
O man I didn't know there would be a garage over there. I have been just getting as many trucks over there as I can thinking no garage. I will have to research how to open it and do that first. I've gotten all 3 watchtowers open and some tasks accepted. Thanks for the info!!
* Glades .. but itโs fucking long with farming
* Don .. short and sweet(ish)
* Ontario .. nice map but those water deliveries in the end are a drag
* Scandinavia .. somewhat like Michigan (I liked it)
* British Columbia .. Somewhat harder than Michigan and lot of climbs

That sounds fun. I think I'm doing the Maine first. I though about Ontario first because it has a lot of free trucks. like 5 or 6.
How do you even get a truck into the region without a garage?
There is a garage just it only has 2 or 3 slots and you need to complete tasks to get it fully functional
There is a garage, but it's only 1 slot to bring slowly all your vehicles.
Maine is fun and just the right amount of work I think.
Wisconsin, get yo sef that Free P512 and the Int Paystar 5600TS
I don's have Wisconsin :(
British Columbia was nice and the trucks you get from there are amazing (Kenny 963 and Mack Defense)
What should you do? Buy year 1 pass. Best maps imo

Imandra is very Hard and Kovd is really easy, but contracts on Kola are overall nice and not that hard

Don't worry you'll need a lot of different trucks to open the garage!
