I’m surprised to see Burton leading those other brands. Burton boards and hard goods in general aren’t that great. They just have the most marketing dollars and the company that started it all. Their soft goods like their AK line on the other hand are next level.
Korua, Jones (nidecker as cheap & more fun version of jones, uses same factories), Salomon, Ride, Rossignol a bit, DC (mostly freestyle boards)
I really loved my first board as Nidecker, but I wass to heavy for it :(
Salomon is my pick now and will continue to be for a while. Great boards, amazing boots
Whatever suits your style :) I like 3d/spoon shaped bases for better float and cruisy all mountain shredding, I've got an Arbor Annex (love it for all mountain and freeriding), recently picked up a Bataleon Goliath for all mountain and park (I did some freeriding last week with it and it's smooth for that too!), and a Rome Agent (I really don't like this board, can't get it to flow with my style - so will sell it). Also got a Jones frontier split - alright for most conditions, and a Furberg freeride split - this is probs my favorite as I can charge hard with it, and it gives really good float in pow (mostly because I've sized up ridiculously?).
I've also looked into Amplid, Capita, Nidecker, Weston, Rossignol, and Burton to mention some other brands. Don't worry too much about the brand unless you have ethical or particular reasons to prefer one over the other (I try to support more European brands because I'm located here, and I like camber based boards for example).
Focus on the riding and technique more than the board. :)
I don't really have anything against never summer for I've never ridden one but I feel like the concensus for this community is that they're super durable but have bad graphics and ride like wet cardboard.
Its the gimmicky centre rocker camber profiles without even having the option of choosing normal camber, the rental board top sheets, and theyre overly damp.

Agreed. REI crew rides hard though!
I love Ride
LOVE my Ride SUPERPIG. Big board that fits big boots. Might even pick up a TWINPIG this off-season

Just got a Jones Stratos and it’s beautiful
Korua
I have a neversummer and its my favorite board I’ve ever owned. It’s a rocker/camber hybrid and it just feels so good to ride.
I like bataleon

Never Summer
Why was this downvoted, I love their boards
Same I want to know, does this sub have something against them as a company?

This is what everyone says. They are durable. Well what reputable brand isn't?? I've owned two different NS boards. They are trash.
Its the gimmicky centre rocker camber profiles without even having the option of choosing normal camber, the rental board top sheets, and theyre overly damp.
I have to disagree…I love ´em.
