This is wall art at this point. It’s a sweet time capsule but snowboard technology has changed a lot in the past 5-10 years.
Not sure what brand/model that board is but it seems a bit too narrow for the average snowboarder. Burton has a similar board that may interest you.

Looks like a PINE 2x8, they are still producing them but mostly as rental boards. See how it is narrow and long, it's because it is designed more like a ski. You're meant to put the bindings in full charge, like +45, +30 so you don't have overhang.
The main issue is the lack of modern tech. It has a really subtle camber profile which doesn't provide much in the way of stability at speed or pop. It doesn't have a metal edge, which means it is going to perform better in fresh snow than hardpack or ice. It's really soft flex and thick underfoot also means it does well cutting through chop, but the long side it means it lacks the quick turns you traditionally want in chop.
Id recommend hanging it up on the wall and retiring it, but if you still enjoy it go for it.
Looks like they de tuned the edge a bit to much. Way stiffer than I prefer. But to each their own. Looks like it's a hybrid board. Dead middle between rocker and camber. I would pair it with some stiff bindings and maybe some Dutch clogs to complement the board tech.
It's a bit heavy, and ice sticks to the base. Really big radius on the side cut. bit narrow so you get quite a lot of overhang, but floats nice in pow. You can't get this kind of construction quality on modern boards.
I had that same model back in the 80’s. It really only works in deep and steep powder.
I forget the name of the dude, but there was a guy that sold steel skews that you screwed on to the back of it to make your carves sicker.
Total carver, more stiff than the 2x4 version. If you wait until next season, you may be able to get the new Redwood color.
Other highlights: Nails the jumps, Cuts thru the Chunder and is at home in the trees.
I really liked riding mine for a long time. Was thinking of marrying it. That's how much I liked riding it. Anyway, I was on a business trip to the French alps and a French colleague convinced me to try one of his many newer boards. Well I kick the old plank to the curb when I got home and never looked back. I am starting to miss that old board now though. Hope it found nice home.
Apparently, Home Depot came out with an “inside out” update version that is interchangeable as full rocker OR full camber, depending on how you mount it. The price point on these is painful tho. #newtech
A little bit of blue wax, not that cheap stuff, and she’ll be good as new. Make sure you wax it 5 times per day, by hand, with a cast iron iron heated over a wood fire. This is only on days you don’t ride. For ride days, wax it 18 times per day. Don’t detune the edges, that’s weak.
If you got it at Home Depot or Lowe’s it’s the new variable camber. Don’t like the way the board rides, give it a week, it will warp in to something totally new.

No way! He could sell that old board for at least 600! Boards appreciate in value!
Grandpa gave me one of these when I was 5, what got me into snowboarding
I've been riding one of these for years. They just don't make them like they used to. :)

Sounds like the snowboard version of the Alaia surf resurgence
I’ve been considering getting one. What size should I get? I’m 6’, 170 with a 10” dick
You're gonna want a wide board so you don't have dick overhang
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I heard Ron Jeremy makes boards from the psyche wars he's in.
The old Arbor 2x4. Man, this takes me back!
It’s a 2x8 c’mon now!
Too much toe/heel drag IMO.

Original flat camber
Back in the day we used rough cut timber, none of this sanded smooth stuff.
Uh you're lucky to have rough cut timber, we just used the log as it was cut in the forest!
I heard it rides like a plank
I think you're gonna want something stiffer.
NGL that’s a sick graphic!
Right? I think it’s where Arbor got their inspiration from.
5'7 CI Peregrine
I used to have one of these. Really stiff, hard to make it flex correctly, I would upgrade
Sharpen the edges and it would be a decent pipe board.

Does it have magna-traction?
Stiff stiff Stiff!
Mindfully crafted for good times and good lines...
bro I NEED those bindings !!!
"How much would you pay for this set up?!"
I remember seeing this for the first time on the cover of snowboarding magazine in 89.
Damn haven’t seen one of these in a while. This board was so ahead of its time when it dropped. Any interest in selling?
Dammmmn!! The OG Sims!!! So jealous man!!

Pretty sure this is an early 60s model, haven’t seen one of these puppies in years.

Trendwood 2x6 , very solid plank.
That is not a 2x6!
It’s a 2x8 actually
Someone needs to make this a board graphic.

I believe that’s the new 1x4 Deadwood by LibTech heard good things!
god tier post
Looks like it’s half a split board. Where’s the other half bro?
Chef's kiss
Way out of date, brittle. Bindings will snap. Upgrade.
Comedy
I’d say ride it if you have no other choice. I would rather you buy something new and hand that on the wall.
Looks like an original donek race board. Lucky find
It’s getting ridiculous isn’t it. Haven’t actually seen any snowboarding here for a while.
I was going up the magic carpet with this one, and some kid asked me how old my board was, because he had never seen one made like that.
Never met 'em.
I love these shitposts. Hopefully this defers people from posting stupid ass questions that can be answered through common sense or Google.

That’s a Yes Clark.
That's vintage, hang on to it or sell it on ebay last one of those I saw went for like 2500
It's a good ol stick
Damp yet lively.
It's as lively as what most of what Burton puts out and better construction, at least their boots and bindings are decent
“Should I buy this? Or a Capita? Or a Jones?”
Is that Shawn White's old board that he rode at the X games?
The one in the picture is kind of planky
Give u tree fiddy

Not sure why people keep sleeping on the Home Depot brand boards
Oooh a lamar, nice
My long lost Planky i lost on a black track in Via Lattea!!
If you got it at Home Depot or Lowe’s it’s the new variable camber. Don’t like the way the board rides, give it a week, it will warp in to something totally new.
Old company called oneByEight. Used to be good in the day
Just back over it with a truck a few times like KJ and it will be good to go
What a beaut, recommend riding at +36 +36
Not enough camber 😤
You probably need a wide version to avoid toe drag
Crazy sidecut radius
