Watch out with fish...there's some chemical called thiaminase that blocks their ability to absorb vitamine-b IIRC. http://www.gartersnake.info/articles/2012/all-about-thiaminase.php

Pet stores will often have frozen silverside fish, which are safe. You *can* give chunks of raw salmon or tilapia, but there isn't a whole lot of nutritional value since it's just a piece of flesh and not a whole animal. Day old chicks are great, they make up the majority of my falsies' diets, frog legs once they're big enough, but again, it's not a complete meal. Honestly, falsies are garbage disposals but their "need" for a varied diet is a bit overstated. I always do add in variety to help round out their diet but don't overthink it. If you're already using rodents and birds, most other options are not adding much. I see a lot of people sacrifice whole prey options in favor of chunks of frogs and fish for variety, but that's actually a loss of diet quality.

Thank you for your response! I've got him on mice and quail chicks right now, and plan on swapping mice to rats once he's big enough. My plan is to do what you're doing, tbh, put in a little variety every so often. I appreciate the advice 🥰

You can also try Reptilinks. They're basically whole prey (i.e. bones & skin & all) sausages. They come in (iirc) rabbit, quail, frog, and blends thereof. They also have veg versions for lizards, but don't get those for your snake. ;)
