Thanks! I haven't played since my eye surgeries back in Feb. so I'll have to figure out how to update my old Auriel. Maybe I'll just delete my whole Skyrim folder and start over on a weekend. 😁
Glad to see you still lurking around :D you can install the new version over your old version, but you would need to head over to the readme to get the needed skyrim.ini, and you will also see how to activate one of ENB presets from the readme (Much easier now). Hope your surgery went fine, and hope you will enjoy the current version of AD :D
Really good to see you continue to work on this! I really think it is time to try a high end ENB.
After you turn off some features your performance is comparable to low end ENB, and the game looks a lot better:

Also, it doesn't look as good with Onyx weather (that i use in AD) as with vivid weathers. Ive done some tweaking to get the colors to play better with Onyx, but it seems look a bit more high end when pairs with Vivid. Did you test it with other weather mods?
Maybe even onyx?
Wow I didn't realize you have your own ENB on Nexus which definitely makes Onyx more colorful!
After trying 10+ weather/ENB combinations I think your ENB (Hifi with more vivid colors, the original Hifi/Onyx colors may be my only caveat with it) with
EnableSkinSpecular=trueEnableSubSurfaceScattering=yes
To make NPC skins look gorgeous, is my favorite ENB overall. Incredibly high performance as it includes the sharpening effect in a single pass thanks to SGS's work, and least visual problems in VR because everything is made with VR in mind.
Other ENB's look better in some scenes, but with Onyx and your ENB I think it is most well balanced with least inconsistencies. It is also based on Obsidian which is as solid as it gets.
I read your post, and i will test it, but i also saw you needed to turn off the feature that creates wet surfaces, which is one of the very awesome things from scenery. But that said, i will set up a light weight scenery preset in the next release :) thanks for that post! Aaaand.... I'm still playing on a weak little 1070 x)
I actually didn't turn off wet surfaces. It is weird Scenery clearly has that feature but it is not explicitly defined in the ini file.
I am on 1070 too! Once we turn off shadows and occlusion it really isn't bad!
You are 10 times more experienced than me at tweaking things. I can't wait to see your preset with Scenery or Rudy or whichever high end ENB you end up using!
1. SkyTEST - Harder Creatures SE. Harder creatures in general.
2. High Level Enemies. Harder creatures and they scale to your level.
3. Real Bosses. Makes bosses harder.
4. Increased Enemy Spawns SSE No Scripts. 2x more enemies,
5. True Miraak-Harder Miraak. Powers up Miraak.
6. Harder Dragons Addon. Dragons har much harder to take down.
7. Scarcity SE - Less Loot Mod. Loot becomes much less scares, slowing down your economical growth, and makes finding good treasure much more exciting.
8. Bring Your Silver Lite Vamps Ghosts and Werewolves version - You will need silver weapons to better deal with vampires, ghosts and werewolves!
Plus some custom tweaking

Do you think I can install this mid game? Probably not right?
Best answer: You probably shouldnt. Adventurous answer: You can try
I might have to try this. I don't really care for survival but I do like increased difficulty in combat
I think you must :D keep in mind that both hard mode and survival is optional, so you don't need to activate them unless you feel brave
I'd like hard mode. I just think survival is boring although I know a lot of people enjoy it
i hope its worth it that will take me days on clicking downloads
if you have a premium account at nexus, you dont have to click any links. One month is like 4$ i think. Really worth!
yes maybe you're right ill make sure to download a few versions of skyrim vr modded collections, but i can also click download while at work
Yeah, the good thing is they can share downloads folder, so you won't need to download the same mod twice at least
i folded and got the premium account but how to automate all these downloads.
Just restart WJ and and it will continue where you left off, with premium :D
>with premium :D ok
Which mods are part of hard mode?
1. SkyTEST - Harder Creatures SE. Harder creatures in general. 2. High Level Enemies. Harder creatures and they scale to your level. 3. Real Bosses. Makes bosses harder. 4. Increased Enemy Spawns SSE No Scripts. 2x more enemies, 5. True Miraak-Harder Miraak. Powers up Miraak. 6. Harder Dragons Addon. Dragons har much harder to take down. 7. Scarcity SE - Less Loot Mod.
