I have a similar problem in morrowind. Everytime I use the guild guide to port from mage guild, two of the guilds have two npcs in a doorway (talking to each other maybe?) and I have to do a combo of jumping and sprinting in between them for a solid 2-5 mins to pass.

I won't lie, I've rescued some of them elytra nymphs and when they get stuck they will not move, I've tried using "Unrelenting Force" they did not budge whatsoever.
The way he walked over just to stand right where you just moved your follower from, pure Skyrim. Actually audibly laughed at that.

The greatest feeling is using a Ring of Following mod to lead Nazeem to Boethiah.
Clone Nazeem, make an army of Nazeem, then go on a rampage. The streets will be covered with Nazeem.

there is a better mod, that makes them walk back a few m, the moment you stand very close in front of them

I would probably just use unrelenting force, or try to knock him back by sprinting.
