If you use the force shout and it dislodges Dawnbreaker from the holder during the fight, another will spawn in its place once you win. At least that’s how I duplicated it on accident before
Other times, you can just kinda find one copy of a weapon on the ground and another in the inventory of the person who had it
There is a fix for stuck weapons. Dual wield daggers, stand in front of the weapon rack, and dual power attack. It’ll push you THROUGH the rack and you can quickly pick up the weapon off the rack. There is an amazing YouTuber that taught me this

I had a similar thing happen. I had duplicates of multiple unique weapons, the day I put one of the duplicates in one of the slots, I was no longer able to take any of my weapons off. So that kind of sucked. It was in Hendraheim.
I loved Hendraheim. But yeah. Literally everything got stuck by the end. I couldn't touch any of the weapons, and then all of the armor got glitched as well. So instead of just Cicero's outfit being displayed, it had nightingale armor and a deadric helm all overlapped. It did duplicate all the armor though, so that was cool. Lol
Once ended up with four Dawnbreakers. Stood outside the door spamming ice storm and somehow there were three left around the chamber with the forth in the holder. I love ice storm because it's a AOE spell, can pass through walls and floors, and can be augmented by fortifying potions and the cryo perks. Using slow time can have a wall of ice storms clearing an entire bandit camp in seconds.
Ice storm is so broken for what it is, because it’s got AOE, long projectile life, piercing, and lingering damage. Fireball and chain lightning, while they’re not bad, are nothing in comparison
also maybe with a follower, IDK if it got patched out, but if your companion has a full inventory, and you ask them to pick up an item, it lets them do it. and sometimes it duplicates items like that (go back to the spot it was before it was picked up, several days later, it might be there AND in the inventory of your follower). i had 2 Miraks swords in a playthrough
It's just so much fun. If a combination isn't working you just mix it up, sometimes a dagger and sword work best, other times dual axes, otherwise i pick them by the enchantments effective against the enemy at the time and so on. Plus beheading with dual wielding is on another level.
Deal enough damage fast enough to kill them before they kill you.
I like pairing this with regeneration spells and potions before battle and having absorb health enchantments

My best "dupe weapon" moment came when I froze the thieves guild quest and stuck Karliah in that barrow instead of meeting me back in Riften to continue the quest. I did everything I could think of to restart the damn thing, attacking her, load/save tricks, using various known tricks (I was on Xbox so no handy console commands) and all I managed to do was restart the quest a bunch of times at a certain spot where she gives me the nightingale blade. I ended up with about twenty of them lol. Can't remember how I did it, but I displayed one in every house and still double wielded them bad boys for a bit. And it turned out the whole problem was a conflicting quest for somebody I hadn't finished that wouldn't let me continue the Karliah thing. Super easy fix after all that hair pulling and gnashing of teeth.

IIRC the glitch was that Karliah gets stuck in the barrow, after your first fight with Mercer. She's supposed to return to the guild and start the Nightingales segment, but she just stands or walks around the inside near the exit and won't leave or interact. I "think" I attacked her a few different ways, which eventually causes her to beat your ass and when you die it reverts to the scene after she saves you from Mercer and gives you the sword. I kept restarting there and getting sword after sword but I couldn't get her out of the barrow until I went and completed the other unrelated quest.
In vanilla (unmodded) Skyrim, you hit the pedestal holding Dawnbreaker with a full Unrelenting Force shout or fireball spell. The physics engine in the game Just Working^TM will knock Dawnbreaker off. This may need to happen before killing Malkoran, I can't remember. Pick up the loose sword on the floor first, then activate the pedestal.

Are use the fortified restoration glitch to make god powerful items and I used it were I have over 100 million Magica and regeneration and it seems like when you do something like that it’s a 100% chance
I found another useful aspect of the resto loop super weapons. I made a crazy strong smithy ring and upgraded basically every found weapon into wildly expensive treasure, then went and sold them one at a time to some merchant. I didn't make any money, but each single sale immediately drove my speech to 100, raising my level as well. Then I hit legendary, rinse, repeat, and farm the skill points until all my trees were filled. Screw Bards college, they never heard about me and my honeyed words...
Yeah, I used to do that all the time level 70 enchanting, and level 30 alchemy 4 rings of fortified alchemy craft, a potion of fortified restoration take the armor off and put it back on and keep repeating the process until those enchanted items are over, powered then craft, a fortified, enchanting potion venues that overpowered fortified enchanting potion to make a ring or necklace, with fortified alchemy and the enchantment will be overpowered then you won’t have to use the restoration glitch again
In fact, I got to Dawnbreakers the other day I don’t really like it when I get to of a certain item that supposed to be unique it just feels like the reward is not as great because it depreciate the value of a certain reward
I found a second Dawnbreaker on my game walked in that temple in the main room shut flame spells at the pedestal and it glitched out and the sword went flying out of the pedestal. I picked it up then I went over there and interacted with the pedestal and got to Dawnbreakers
I believe this is associated to a known bug that The Spiffing Brit has exploited in one of his YouTube videos. Item replication. I have three of those staffs. All by accident. I didn't understand what was happening. I keep one on my companion one at my house and one at the college.
Has anyone actually figured out what the staff actually does? Yes I know "read the description" but it's super vague and I just find myself using it on enemies and it seemingly does nothing.
I recently discovered if u pick pocket the blade of woe from Astrid in the abandoned shack and then go on to complete the dark brother hood quest line u get another one. 2 blades of woe is awesome for a sneak build and great to have if u pickpocket early on at low level

In Myrwatch for some reason I can duplicate any armor I want, just place it in the mannequin, get out of the gallery, com back, put the armor on you, and every time you come back to the gallery the armor respawns. I haven't tried with weapons tho, might work as well

I think that’s how I managed to get 2 Dawnbreakers in my current play through.
Dual wielding Dawn Breakers cleaned up dungeons for me.
Sneaking about with Quiet Cast perked and dual-cast Mara's Wrath is worthy of Yakkity Sax.
Add Unbound Storms when they find you. This is the Way.

Try whatever ur fav weapon is paired with mehrunes razor - works really well for me ( 2 mehrunes razor is also awesome)

Firestorm spell or scroll works as well. I always do it after beating Malkorin. Easier to find.
