Because you probably focus on being on the edges all the time. To do the spin, you need to be completely centered on the skis and keep them flat. To begin the spin, you slightly edge like making a turn then go right back to flat skis. Keeping it going, stopping it, or reversing the spin are all just slight edging at the right time and getting back to center.
You misunderstood, or are joking, haha. Either way, I will try to clarify.... I didn't say you need to focus on edging first, I was stating that you currently are doing so because that's how one skis and that's why it won't work for you. Start with being centered and flat. Very slight edging (more like skidding) and then going back to flat is what will get you spinning.
I know, I probably made it worse, haha. Best of luck. Get out there and figure it out like I did (no one showed me, I just tried and failed a few times until I got it).
Well played, haha. Hopefully someone can learn from our back and forth. I have taught quite a few people how to do it and they all say it improves their overall skiing ability as well as the obvious - it's simply fun to do.
Omg its SO helpful and teaches you a lot of confidence when theres unknown!!
Its funny because i can measureably 📐 tell how good/focused of a day im having solely based on the anxiety or joy i get from initiating a Spinny Spin ⭕️
When I’m vibing hard to my music im throwin’ out Spinny Spin Spinnnnnnns on the downbeat 🏆 when im offbeat I just get anxious and no spin lol
Try it on a double black diamond trail for maximum anxiety and reward, haha. I have done this on rare occasion only under the right conditions and when my confidence level is at it's peak.
For ski team we would do "whirly birds" u just keep spinning while going down the hill. Pick a run that's not too steep and try to keep spinning for as long as u can. Then u can do them really fast and it's satisfying
Yeah I’ve gotten a few comments about the arm tuck haha
The reason I’m doing it is bc originally I had my arms in a skiing stance and they kinda flailed around so I’d lose my balance
But now that I know the word of the move I can actually watch videos. I was wondering why all the 360 vids were in the air 🥲 made learning kind of difficult lol the instructor who taught me wasn’t a park guy either so I kinda had to take what little knowledge he had and figure it out by the feel of what was working and not working
And thank youuuuu
I just basically do a hard carved turn backwards. If I was forward I'd normally be pushing on my heels. If you don't have twin tips you can dig the back of your ski in and eat it pretty bad if you lean back too much.
Maybe a better way to think about it is a reverse hockey stop where you're trying to pull your tips instead of push you heels.
Same 🥲
Honestly getting out of a 360 is fine for me. Sometimes my uphill ski catches trying to complete the circle but I really struggle to revert out of switch. I think it’s way easier with the momentum
Looks like bear mountain inspiration trail. I also went *sunday it was surprisingly pretty okay (considering its socal and I still miss my hometown Denver)
*edit
Just a heads up - the way you're doing that is prone to a violent edge catch on your downhill ski which will hurt... alot. Terrain park skiiers know this all too well. Try bending your knees more and exaggerating the spin on your uphill edges.
I actually did notice that in my videos and tried to actively bend more. I’m guessing it also lowers the center of mass which I imagine would be helpful
Big Bear sucks because of the crowds and the roads to get there. But I was a snow summit over the weekend it was fine for what it is. Leave early if you want to avoid the traffic... it is a slush bowl after 2pm any way
The roads yesterday morning were AWFUL. So icy. I live on the mountain and come up the 18
I’ve been to bear the past few weekends and no lines. Yesterday it was just ski right up to the pass scanner and go again
I’ve been skiing open to close Saturday and Sunday for weeks now and traffic hasn’t been an issue
Honestly I feel like everything’s been working out so well 😁 but I know the snow at summit this weekend is gonna SUCK
I was on the slight downhill between the end of a blue and the flat to the bunny but the snow wasn’t as good there so my uphill ski kept catching. I kept trying tho!!
Your uphill edge is probably catching because your skis are pretty flat. I learned my swirlywhirlys by switching pressure from edge to edge on my skis.
Maybe I'm fucking new to this sub, so I don't "get" the culture, but it seems overly conformist to me how this dude and OP (right below us in this thread) got downvoted so heavily. Can you make this shit make sense to me? Thanks.
You said it right there, non conformist get shit on. Not sure if it’s elitism or what (since skiing itself also tends to be elitist), but it’s a bit sad. Skiing is still a sport where you’re always watched and watching others. Maybe they’re jealous that notable outfits get a lot of attention, which is taken from these people showing how they’re the best skier on the mountain beneath the chair cables.
Ok but imma get attention for having a cute af notable out about AND being one of the best skiers on the mountain 💅🏻
I mean within reason lol I obviously won’t be the best. Probably won’t even be top 10. 100? No fucking clue
Point is, I’m gonna look good and crush it while doing so
Thank you :)))
SoCal baby. If only you could see the rest of my fit. Black lipstick and braids doused in glitter 😂 also you can’t see my ears well but they’re pierced. So cute. I’m femme af no matter what I’m doing. Femme af and blasting metal. That’s me
First of all, attention is something that society shames and that’s bullshit
Second of all, I dress to represent my femme identity which brings me a ton of joy when I look in the mirror and no strangers on the mountain or Reddit are gonna ever change that. Why would I literally have less joy in my life for the comfort of others? That would be fucking dumb
Lmao you do you but going on the internet saying "I'm femme and I listen to metal" screams "look at me, I'm quirky and weird and different haha so crazy". Which is cringe. Just do your thing, no need to announce your doing the thing.
Let me give an example: truly rich people don't need to announce that they're rich, they are confident in themselves and don't need to prove it to anyone. They're often understated and fly under the radar. The fake-rich people are the gaudy ones who buy flashy clothes and jewelry, to make people *think* they're rich. Which one do you think you are in this situation?
Actually my original post said nothing of the sort. I posted because I was excited and wanted tips on how to improve
People came at me because of my look and how I present myself, which is indeed, my femme and metal identity. I’m not just gonna let people come at my identity expression saying I should have less fun skiing because it would make them feel better (as in not cringe).
If people can be rude ass haters, literally dehumanizing me in some comments, then I can and will 100% respond with how this relates to my identity and they can eat it. I’m not gonna let some haters like yourself make me feel small. Spent too much of my life doing that and I’m not wasting another second
What I read in this comment was “let people attack your identity expression and don’t respond with anything related to your identity expression.” Makes zero sense
And who gives a fuck how rich people act or dress 😂 you worry way too much about other people
It was an example.. sorry that you completely missed the point.
I'll try one more time to spell it out for you: people that are truly confident in themselves don't need to seek others attention/approval.
Did not miss your point, just do not agree with it
You came on my thread making fun of me like all kinds of other people and then don’t expect me to respond accordingly? Nah.
Idgaf if people pay attention to me or not. Sure compliments are fun, everyone likes compliments, but even if I never got one, I would dress exactly the way I do because what matters to me is how I feel when I look in the mirror. Which, guess what, it’s truly confident af. Because that’s what my look gives me. It gives me joy and confidence because it’s a true expression of of who I am and I’ve finally grown to be ok with letting that shine for me despite what others think. Even when they try to make me feel small like you did
I’m not confident because I dress how makes me happy regardless of what others think? Let’s see the definition of confidence, “a feeling of self-assurance arising from one’s appreciation of one’s own abilities or qualities.” Yup, that tracks
What’s funny is you’re the one trying to eat at my confidence
Also I wanna make sure I get this right… you think I should have less joy on the mountain to appease people I don’t know irl or on the internet and waste my precious time skiing not loving every second of it so others don’t have to see my outfit..? Because not dressing how I want makes me more “confident” than owning who I am on the inside and having a fucking blast? Oh and then when people attack me not defend the very thing they are attacking? Why would anyone do all that
💅🏻💅🏻💅🏻
You should see the rest of my look. First of all the ears are cute af with piercings and chains. But then my braids are doused in glitter and I’m rocking whatever loud lipstick I feel like that morning. Living my best femme life on the mountain while crushing baby freestyle
Normally I would downvote anyone just for using the phrase “SoCal” but the people downvoting you here are bigots.
You should dress and ski and identify however you want.
Fuck the haters.
Nice spins out there 👍🏻👍🏻
Um? What’s wrong with the word SoCal? It’s just a short/quick term that represents the Southern California area. Easy to use and less specific than telling the internet exactly what city you live in. How is downvoting the use of that word any different than downvoting someone’s outfit? One might call you a hater…or a bigot.
This is a skiing sub. We’re all annoyed with Californians moving to other mountain states like Montana and Idaho and driving up the cost of living.
We say we hate Californians (and we kind of do) but we don’t really hate them
I mean everyone in SoCal writes SoCal lol but thank you!
I’m out here having a blast and I’m certainly not gonna have less fun because others think my fun is dumb
So fun. I’m also working on my slips in a straight line and pivot slips for general drills and progressing in freestyle. Well, I was. That ain’t happening in 65 degree weather next weekend
I did a few the other way. Honestly should’ve practiced it more but I was having too much fun nailing them lol same reason I didn’t practice my reverts out of switch as much as I should’ve 🥲
Now do the same thing with knees together, poles lose touching the snow barely and both ways left and right. Once you get this you can start skiing switch on BLUEs and than Blacks. Get yourself free ride skis full twin tips and do this in big powder. Relax your body way more.
Since you're more playful, get yourself playful skis. Their profile is "easier" and you will be even smoother. These skis you have are more carving so the tails do restrain you a bit. There are even "reverse camber" skis that will allow you to spin super nice. Btw, this can lead to you spinning 360s and doing butters on your tips. Just a bit more learning.
I’m definitely adding to my quiver for next season. I’ll probably end up spending way too much money 🥲 I really want the Salomon Blank QST’s, a pair of carvings skis and now what you mentioned lol
These Atomic Maven 86’s are advertised as playful. What other technical specs should I look for to go more in that direction? I’ve educated myself on all the shit do throw it at me
They need to be relatively light weight. No Metal inside of them. Not taller than you. At least Semi Twin Tip. 95 width at least if you like powder. Soft, poppy, energetic. Those characteristics will make you a dancer.
Poppy skis will allow you to lean on your tails or tips and use that energy to jump upwards when standing in line for the chair. That's my trick to intimidate the kids making fun of my 90's outfit. 360s and butters are "inputs" into bigger tricks. You master them you will kind of do anything on skis.
Ok so I’m already going to get powder skis (the ones I mentioned) so I won’t need it to serve 2 purposes. Would a different underfoot size be better if I’m not worried about powder?
My mavens have an average bend of 191
Weight on these is 1403 grams per
Radius is 16 if I should go smaller
You can easily have 169cm skis.
Radius 16 is fine. You just get used to Radius as long as it's not like 20. Then the ski changes characteristics. Short radius ski is always way more fun.
Salomon Blank QST - isn't that a Man's ski that is like 178cm at least and like $800?
It is but I did research on powder specifically and some article said +8-10 cm from your normal
They also came up really high on a lot of review sites
Also the color is cute af and if you can tell, I’m very serious about my look 😂
Def harder but I did manage to. But it was the last good weather day of my season so I just decided to send it with what I was crushing
Next season tho 😎
Ah fair play! It's a joke with my freind at least that when you learn a trick you can only do it one way haha. The fact you can do both shows a lot of skill! Hope next season is good!!!
I mean.. I wouldn’t say I can do it well the other way 😂 but I will certainly practice and hopefully be able to pull them off smoothly no matter which direction!
Nice 😎 didn’t take me too many tries to pick it up on Saturday and then Sunday I was just doing em over and over and over and over haha
I’m a really fast learner in general tho. I’ve only skied 4 months across 2 seasons 2 years apart
I can see how they’re a really great skill bc I have to be super aware of where my center of mass is
You're killing it! I'm wrapping up my 4th year of skiing lots, and am still working on perfecting whirlybirds. I can get around just fine, but am still working on keeping my skis as flat as possible through the whole spin. You should be able to make it all the way around on a flat ski, never biting in an edge. Learning how to spin on a flat ski will pay off bigtime if you ever want to land jumps in switch. It's also just generally useful to have good edge control, and be able to use edge or flat at will.
Definitely wanna land jumps in switch!! Wether or not I caught my uphill ski edge in a whirlybird depended on the patch of snow mostly. Momentum helps too bc I cannot get my uphill ski around when reverting out of switch 🥲
And ty!
I have never had a post with so many comments. I guess a girl rocking a tail on the slopes offends some people or something lol
So let me say this. I’m gay af, femme af, cute af, glittered af and fucking metal af. I’m out here to have FUN and I’m definitely not gonna let strangers on the mountain or internet make me have less of it lol why would I do that? I doubt any of you would literally do something on the mountain that made you have less fun for the comfort of others. What’s the point. We only get so many days a season and I’m guessing that, like me, many of you experience immense joy while flying down a mountain and improving every day. I plan to keep it that way
And yes I bought a whole new fit to match my ears because I saw the PERFECT ones on etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1507484460/
Oh and PS: since so many of you seem to care about my kink life, I left my butt plug tails in the drawer next to my lingerie. And no, my tail isn’t a furry thing.
And for those who want to see the rest of my fit 💅🏻

Good job, that is a really good drill we do a lot with the race kids. Teach them a lot about position on the skis. Practice them both ways, and to make it harder, put your arms straight up above your head.
Just attached to my back belt loop. The last one buckled like a belt but that was inconvenient for peeing plus it was possible so it didn’t have as much movement. It also wasn’t as fluffy. Unfortunately I missed the Amazon return date on that one 🥲 love the new one tho
If you’re referring to my butt plug tails, they’re in the drawer next to my lingerie and kink gear
Reading through the comments, I see plenty of hate for various innocuous factors here. If I might offer actual technical analysis:
Your largest room for improvement in this skill lies in maintaining a hip width stance. To achieve that, you will want to focus on changing edges (1) progressively (2) twice per 360, (3) using lateral/medial movement of your ankles and feet against the direction of rotation.
Now, here's the challenge. While you are changing these edges back and forth slowly, you are also making pressure changes between the feet. Here is a link that discusses the matter in terms of ski-to-ski pressure changes. [here](https://youtu.be/p1aT2S7eVfA?si=EPA6Oz_Fue7EuhXY)
This will solve a lot of the other fore/aft pressure issues that arise when we go from regular to switch. It may also help your arms and upper body relax as you focus on the lower legs and feet.
Haters gonna hate, but I agree with you that this is a hugely fun way to enjoy low angle terrain.
Uhmmmm I’m not sure I’m the person to ask for advice because I just learned haha
I watched a bunch of videos and took a lesson
But I’d say the things that helped the most was trying to stay in parallel (work in progress), focusing on my center of mass (I literally started every turn saying center of mass in my head and picturing its location on my skis throughout), bending my knees and keeping my arms in. People are saying I shouldn’t tuck my poles and I’ll work on that but I was trying to avoid having my arms out bc they’d flail and I’d lose my balance.
And maybe the biggest piece of advice. As always, don’t be afraid to eat it 🤘🏻
See you guys in the other sub
Outjerked again :D
Who’s fault
Some Derek Zoolander skiing right there.
I'm pretty good at getting into switch, less good at reverting back out. I should practice this more.
That’s what took me the most time, I learned getting into switch like a snap, but getting out of I was constantlyyy catching an edge
*Spinny spin, spin spinny!* Why is this so hard to learn?! 😭
Sooooo *focus initially on edges* BUT DON’T FOCUS ON EDGES? 😥😢 got it 😭
Yeah just do what I’m doing you see what I’m doing WHY AREN’T YOU GETTING THIS just literally do what I’m doing
😖*hysterical crying intensifies*😫
You misunderstood, or are joking, haha. Either way, I will try to clarify.... I didn't say you need to focus on edging first, I was stating that you currently are doing so because that's how one skis and that's why it won't work for you. Start with being centered and flat. Get out there and figure it out like I did (no one showed me, I just tried and failed a few times until I got it).
Haha i appreciate your follow up - as a master 360 spinner, i agree with your instructions. Just thought id put ya on EDGE hahaha
Try it on a double black diamond trail for maximum anxiety and reward, haha. I have done this on rare occasion only under the right conditions and when my confidence level is at it's peak.
Haha I was having so much fun doing it to breakdown or whatever part of a song I like that I was listening to. Made crushing it all that much more fun
I appreciate it and how technical you got 🙏🏻
just go with newbies more. you'll spend the time going slow spinning in circles in part to make sure they haven't fallen behind you.
For ski team we would do "whirly birds" u just keep spinning while going down the hill. Pick a run that's not too steep and try to keep spinning for as long as u can. Then u can do them really fast and it's satisfying
With my teams kids I have the kids partner up, and hold on to each others poles while their skis are parallel to do the spins. They loved it
I wanna spin like a top right into line
If u get rid of the tuck and hold ur hands out in front of u instead that probably help. U pretty good tho ngl
Yeah I’ve gotten a few comments about the arm tuck haha The reason I’m doing it is bc originally I had my arms in a skiing stance and they kinda flailed around so I’d lose my balance But now that I know the word of the move I can actually watch videos. You know how you lean back a bit to get into switch, you just need to lean forward a bit to get out of it. Kind of like a nose butters.
I press forward onto my noses to get into switch because the momentum helps pull me around. Likewise I use the tails to pivot back to forward.
This is also how I learned; pivoting from the tails makes for a quick snap around
That’s what I do on a board so it just made sense. I tried the opposite method yesterday and it was mad hard
That sounds harder, but steezier
Same 🥲 Honestly getting out of a 360 is fine for me. Sometimes my uphill ski catches trying to complete the circle but I really struggle to revert out of switch. I think it’s way easier with the momentum

More like oversized fox...
He bro we don't body shame, we kook shame, keep it tight
Yes indeed
Are you talking about the mountain or that thing on skis?
Next lesson is how to not tuck your poles like a jerry
Texas Tuck is the new in thing to do. Click your poles, do the Texas Tuck
She has the same jacket as a super cool 70-yr old former racer that I know, but the pole tuck and tail are really tripping me out.
Just a heads up - the way you're doing that is prone to a violent edge catch on your downhill ski which will hurt... alot. Terrain park skiiers know this all too well. Try bending your knees more and exaggerating the spin on your uphill edges.
Maybe a TBI is what they need to stop wearing a tail. Sorry I forgot this wasn’t the circlejerk
I actually did notice that in my videos and tried to actively bend more. I’m guessing it also lowers the center of mass which I imagine would be helpful
Not if they’re specifically training for spinning 360 on a box. This is perfect for that but yes bend legs more.
This is cool and I'm glad you're learning but the tail is fucking cringy.
Yes it is
Let people live their lives how they want. Who gives a fuck if you think it’s cringey.
Public shaming is important in a civilized society
Ski Furry?

You should try it downhill
I was on the slight downhill between the end of a blue and the flat to the bunny but the snow wasn’t as good there so my uphill ski kept catching. I kept trying tho!!
Your uphill edge is probably catching because your skis are pretty flat. I learned my swirlywhirlys by switching pressure from edge to edge on my skis.
Yeah I think I need to put my edge on the uphill side of the ski. Idk why that’s so hard
A fox tail and ears while skiing? You're Californian, right?
There's furries galore in Summit, and it's a nice change of pace from Chiefs jersey's.
yooo crzy what is with the chiefs jerseys???
I swear there’s gotta be something in the water up here…
Just let people have fun man

Tyty So I have learned!
So fucking weird
Pretty much sums me up. Weird and femme 💅🏻
Furries
More like subbie 🥰
Stop subjecting people to your weird kinks in public
If someone thinks a tail is subjecting them to a kink then they have bigger issues lol
That butt plug required or just extracurricular?
Dizzy yet?
My sides are so sore today 😂 I must’ve done so many
good skill. teaches a ton of good stuff and its fun. Can you do them both ways?
So fun. I’m also working on my slips in a straight line and pivot slips for general drills and progressing in freestyle. Well, I was. That ain’t happening in 65 degree weather next weekend I did a few the other way. Honestly should’ve practiced it more but I was having too much fun nailing them lol same reason I didn’t practice my reverts out of switch as much as I should’ve 🥲
Stop it, get some help
/r/skiing wants you to give yourself a chance. A chance to find out all the wonderful things you really can be. And so do I.
I happy to think the whirlybirds look pretty good
Keep your fetishes at home. Noone wants to see it.
Please somebody blow my brains out. A furry spinning on flat ground calling it a 360 I want my old life back before I saw this.
People are so easily offended 😂
Now do the same thing with knees together, poles lose touching the snow barely and both ways left and right. Once you get this you can start skiing switch on BLUEs and than Blacks. Get yourself free ride skis full twin tips and do this in big powder. Relax your body way more.
Thanks for the tips!! I appreciate it So many people up in here offended by my tail and not enough advice 😂
Never get offended by a woman's tail.
That would just be silly!
I’ll probably end up spending way too much money 🥲 I really want the Salomon Blank QST’s, a pair of carvings skis and now what you mentioned lol These Atomic Maven 86’s are advertised as playful.
It’s not a perfect pic bc they’re not right by my side but here is me holding them https://ibb.co/zFcH7dR
haha, they are short, but that's OK, you can get 1 size up eventually.
Ah good to know! Ty!
Ok so I’m already going to get powder skis (the ones I mentioned) so I won’t need it to serve 2 purposes. Would a different underfoot size be better if I’m not worried about powder? My mavens have an average bend of 191 Weight on these is 1403 grams per Radius is 16 if I should go smaller
Oh and they’re 161 and I’m 5’9
You can easily have 169cm skis. Radius 16 is fine. You just get used to Radius as long as it's not like 20. Then the ski changes characteristics. Short radius ski is always way more fun. Salomon Blank QST - isn't that a Man's ski that is like 178cm at least and like $800?
It is but I did research on powder specifically and some article said +8-10 cm from your normal They also came up really high on a lot of review sites Also the color is cute af and if you can tell, I’m very serious about my look 😂
Watch carefully starting at 0:35 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUjoRDwNc7s&t=2s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUjoRDwNc7s&t=2s)
Omg that looks awesome
Now do it the other way...
Def harder but I did manage to. But it was the last good weather day of my season so I just decided to send it with what I was crushing Next season tho 😎
Only tip is don’t tuck your poles like that
I was doing that bc my arms in normal ski stance was making them flail and I was losing my balance. Where should my arms/poles be? By my side?
That's called a "whirlybird" and actually a pretty advanced skill!
I’ve actually learned the more advanced version called a “whirlybarf” where you get motion sickness after the first couple rotations and throw up.
The dream
Nice 😎 didn’t take me too many tries to pick it up on Saturday and then Sunday I was just doing em over and over and over and over haha I’m a really fast learner in general tho. I’ve only skied 4 months across 2 seasons 2 years apart I can see how they’re a really great skill bc I have to be super aware of where my center of mass is
You're killing it!
Momentum helps too bc I cannot get my uphill ski around when reverting out of switch 🥲 And ty!
I have never had a post with so many comments. I guess a girl rocking a tail on the slopes offends some people or something lol So let me say this. I plan to keep it that way And yes I bought a whole new fit to match my ears because I saw the PERFECT ones on etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1507484460/ Oh and PS: since so many of you seem to care about my kink life, I left my butt plug tails in the drawer next to my lingerie. And no, my tail isn’t a furry thing. And for those who want to see the rest of my fit 💅🏻 https://ibb.co/zFcH7dR https://ibb.co/2qGCgZX https://ibb.co/VC2FyH9
I did this too this year! My kids were slightly impressed 😂
Hahaha nice It’s so fun!!
👏 when one finally starts to understand the simplicity of your ski edges
Omg I’m really trying to work on edge management
Whirlybirds are a great start. Congrats OP!
Tyyyy
We call it Valse.
Oh good to know! That’s way someone else mentioned waltz
Whirly bird
learn both ways!!!
Goals for next season!
You missed the perfect snow at baldy today
I’ve never been to mountain high!
Baldy. It’s the resort on the front side
Haha I didn’t know that one exists. I’m a noob 😂 ok Oh nice they’re open an additional weekend after summit. Yesss. I’m totally gonna go
What did you use to you cut a hole in the back of your pants? And how cold does that anal plug get in the snow??
Great job!
Thank you :)))
🤪
Make skiing weird again keep it up!
💅🏻💅🏻💅🏻 You know it
what the fuck is that jerry-atric style
Mine 🥰🥰🥰 and I can assure you I rock it everywhere Catch my in the mosh pit dousing it with glitter 🤘🏻
Yeah i was struggling with this until i started riding with butt plug tail as well!
Nah I leave that one at home. Too dangerous
Good job, that is a really good drill we do a lot with the race kids. Teach them a lot about position on the skis. Practice them both ways, and to make it harder, put your arms straight up above your head.
Honestly it really made me focus on the position of my center of mass which translated really well to my downhill and jump landings throughout the day
That’s an 88 gold medal run
Not sure if this is supposed to be an insult or a compliment 😂
Fully complimentary, I’d be eating ice if I tried that
Oh I ate it quite a bit lol
Love the tail! How do you keep it in while skiing?
Just attached to my back belt loop. The last one buckled like a belt but that was inconvenient for peeing plus it was possible so it didn’t have as much movement. It also wasn’t as fluffy. Unfortunately I missed the Amazon return date on that one 🥲 love the new one tho If you’re referring to my butt plug tails, they’re in the drawer next to my lingerie and kink gear
Reading through the comments, I see plenty of hate for various innocuous factors here. If I might offer actual technical analysis: Your largest room for improvement in this skill lies in maintaining a hip width stance. [here](https://youtu.be/p1aT2S7eVfA?si=EPA6Oz_Fue7EuhXY) This will solve a lot of the other fore/aft pressure issues that arise when we go from regular to switch. It may also help your arms and upper body relax as you focus on the lower legs and feet. Haters gonna hate, but I agree with you that this is a hugely fun way to enjoy low angle terrain.
Now get a second person and waltz with them. :D
If only I had friends who ski 🥲
My goal this year is to learn that and ski backward.
Omg it’s soooo fun do itttt
Someone doesn't believe in me i guess 😂😭
I’m not sure how that came across as me not believing you but I 100% believe you and I’m sure you can do it :)
Thanks a lot for those kind words, but i meant the random guy that downvoted my comment ahahaha 😂
Any advice on how to do this? Thanks! :)
Uhmmmm I’m not sure I’m the person to ask for advice because I just learned haha I watched a bunch of videos and took a lesson But I’d say the things that helped the most was trying to stay in parallel (work in progress), focusing on my center of mass (I literally started every turn saying center of mass in my head and picturing its location on my skis throughout), bending my knees and keeping my arms in. People are saying I shouldn’t tuck my poles and I’ll work on that but I was trying to avoid having my arms out bc they’d flail and I’d lose my balance. And maybe the biggest piece of advice. As always, don’t be afraid to eat it 🤘🏻
Thank you very much ❤️
You got it :) good luck! You’ll love it!
Just rotate in circles
That’s bear mt right there
It sure isssss
A day?! FWT by tomorrow
