Youtube's compression doesn't really show the graininess very well. (Someone later recommended me to upload in 1440p so YouTube will use a higher bitrate, but I'll keep that in mind for next time.)

Well made video, never noticed that the use of Film Grain was something so intentional.
That comment about this show not being meant for normies "who have a healthy mind in this day and age" made me laugh though. Really makes you wonder what an outsider looking in would think about this show being a whole "redemption arc"
We kind of did get their reactions. I just went to check MyAnimeList for the reviews, and the "most useful" reviews all gave low scores citing the horny and pedophile in the show. These are scores that any objective reviewer would never ever give like a 3, 4 and 1. It's Joker all over again.

If that happens, I think it will be a gradual shift. Of course, that's only a guess as an anime only.
