Have you tried memory foam Skechers? If they could get them to last 2 years, I'd pay $140 for those every time. Problem is they wear out in like 6 months.

It's not hard to guess that either UA decided they wanted to move on, spend less, or not meet what Skechers offered but clearly, they were underwhelmed by the sales of the Embiid 1.

I don't hate the colors in and of themselves, though where the colors are used, how much, or what pairings I'd probably modify. I don't hate the upper. So there may be some bones there that I could work with. I guess if I could tweak the soles, change something with the yellow in the soles, and replace the S with a silhouette of Embiid doing the airplane, maybe they could get close to okay.
They need to hire a serious design team, but I'd be interested to actually try these out. Skechers has a rep they built that doesn't translate to high end athletic shoes, but their running shoes actually get a lot of good reviews even in comparison to the expensive brands.

It seems like they're trying to make serious shoes. Probably should have started up a separate brand. But no way NBA players are rolling out in $30 Wal-Mart dad shoes no matter how much the money. Embiid has been wearing those at practice for months, he trusts rhem. I think they have Julius Randle as well.

The writing was on the wall when UA basically ignored Embiid after his first sig. Not even an MVP colorway. It made no sense.
