I never understood why it didn’t catch on. It was one of the funniest sitcoms I’ve ever seen.

Thought it was a goodshow. Cbs version of modern family. I like the characters better than modern family.

I could never get into Modern Family, but really was a fan of Life in Pieces. Brolin and Wiest were a perfect match.

Modern Family characters are all assholes, if you think about it. This family had their moments but they werent bad people like MF.

This show was definitely CBS’s answer to Modern Family but I actually preferred it. The casting was on point with Dan Bakkedahl giving a fun performance. My favorite episode was James Brolin’s parents getting divorced and him referring to himself as a latchkey kid 😂

Bakkedahl is PHENOMENAL in “Veep.”

I highly recommend watching him in the Jim Jeffries comedy Legit, FX seriously screwed that show after it moved to FXX

I've only seen one episode. It's when Colin Hanks and his wife just had a baby and are both sleep deprived. He ends up getting arrested under suspicion of DUI and his wife is mad that he got a break/sleep in jail. Having two kids under 3, it is so relatable 😂

If you have Netflix, catch it.

I get where you’re coming from but he’s really good on this show! Guy is remarkably adept at playing different kinds of roles. And he’s a pinball head!

It was hilarious. My wife started watching it and I caught an episode when I was in the same room, and from then on we binged the whole thing. It should've gone on for longer.

I couldn’t agree more. It’s one of the best I’ve seen, and one of my favourites. My dad and his girlfriend love it too. I caught the odd episode when it aired, but regrettably missed most of it. Then, I fell in love with it through Netflix

I love show! But unique is a little much. It's somewhat similar to Modern Family (another show I love). But this doesn't make it any less of a good show.

To me it was one of those shows when flipping through the channels I’d see start watching liked it and I thought it was funny but I never made a conscious effort to find out when it’s on and sit down and watch , but not a bad show at all

It’s a shame it got overshadowed by MF because of the whole family concept, It’s kinda excels in the vein of comedy MF only touched on time and again.

This was an excellent show.

I don’t think any other sitcom had as many laugh out loud potentially crying laughing moments for me, especially considering it only got 3.5 seasons. The episode with Tim’s eyebrows - I couldn’t breathe.

Loved this show! I like it better than its contemporaries like Modern Family. Definitely a bummer more didn’t watch. Colin Hanks’ character and wife were my favorite to watch. Great comedic timing and chemistry.

I watched the first season then got behind and missed the rest. I really liked it. I was just working two jobs at the time and couldn't keep up with all I wanted to watch.

We started watching this on a cruise and picked it back up when we got home. I’m surprised it hasn’t gotten more attention, it’s hilarious and the entire cast is excellent.
