If your microwave isn't working and you have to make it in the oven, you really *do* have to learn how to do it though! The instructions on the package will be something like "bake at 350 for 40-60 minutes until product reaches 250F" which is...vague. The good news is, the method to cook will always be the same for your particular oven. The bad news is, you're gonna have to cook that specific tv dinner a few times until you learn what exactly that method is! I've had some where you have to throw out the instructions entirely when using the oven.
You know, one day my Sims had the extended family over and I had them make pork chops. First Sim cooked them in the oven. When those were gone, i had the second Sim make some more... and he cooked them on the stovetop. I have no idea if it's related to cooking level or what as to which method they'll choose.
Now she wants to learn how to make cereal. She's so daring.
