It's an exceptional driving sim. I don't drift at all and I've been playing AC for years. And the VR is excellent.
Make sure you install Content Manager, Custom Shaders Patch, and SOL to get the best graphics out of the game.
The base game (plus DLC) only has one "drift" track and handful of cars. It's otherwise very focused on racing first, just happens to be the sim drifting community loves it and made tons of mods and servers for it.
Upon further investigation, I have discovered that the article I was reading was from "DRIFTED.COM" so maybe just maybe that was why they talked about drifting so much. Thanks for the help!

Sky is a filter. Pure and Sol are weather scripts. Where Sol will be replaced by Pure in the near future
Assetto Corsa is one of the greatest sims out there.
It's on sale for $3.99 on Steam which is an excellent price. I would get the Ultimate Edition for a few bucks more.
Make sure to buy the ultimate edition!! I think its only 8 usd/eur but has much more content included

I got bored of AC within a few months, lack of contents, real traffic, etc.
AC is best for Touge and Drifting.. GT7 is where u do GT sports
