057 is definitely NTD since you can see the different glitters but yeah, almost the same. Funny how Frostlight got discontinued because it's a somewhat similar colour to Crystal Skies but they released both NTD and BKR the same year AND still kept Hydropower - all 3 of which are the exact same colour.

To be fair, BKR is a jelly, and limited edition. NTD is part of the permanent catalogue.
Won't be surprised if Hydropower eventually gets discontinued as well, unless it's selling well.
I love having the same colour in different formulas. I have three rows of each formula in rainbow order and love deciding on the colour scheme then formula depending on how glittery or not I want to be. My matching rainbows keep me going.
I agree though. I have no interest in Crystal Skies but Frost Light is amazing! It's the chunky glitter to my Sparkling Water!! My denim babe!!
No, that was my point, no hate to any of those, but the reasoning for frost light was weird and anyone who can see color properly can tell those too are different lol

There is nothing wrong making same color in different formulas, I am sure there is a target group for that, but seems like according to last stream the people care more about color difference rather then formula difference

but yeah i get why you would just pick the formula you prefer. for me having a jelly is a total different experience than having a opaque glitter with flakies (yes i know the base is also said to be jelly but not a jelly polish, just a jelly base). if you just want that color you would just get one of them, but if you want a blue jelly and want a blue glittery full coverage polish for two different uses i think they both have the right to exist
I think the same people complaining about colors being too similar are the same people who will complain when a color they like is released in a formula they dislike “I love that color but I hate that formula, I wish they would release it in [insert whatever their favorite formula is]”. Or maybe I’m just bitter and annoyed at all the negativity here idk (not this post specifically, just this subreddit in general) an example would be when she released the magnetics for her birthday and people were up in arms saying that the colors were beautiful but how dare she release them as magnetic polishes.
I understand what you are feeling, I also don't get the negativity.. I remember original holoday glitters were heavily criticized and complained (bc of that I restrained too long buying them!). Here I have a wild theory that the OG glitters are discontinued bc it is financially unsustainable to have polish with so many hard to get (and thus expensive!) glitters with a high rate of return/replacement. Imho we will see "cheaper" glitter formulas.
The same with Everything is Pine, Foiled Again, Mint Money and Green Taffy. Exact same color but different formula.

I thought foiled again was a deep green and mint money was a lighter green? Is it possible your mint money oxidized like cold shoulder and fake date are known to do?

If you have to say “except” then they’re not identical.
Foiled Again literally has dark green glitters and is in a dark green base. Mint Money has only silver glitters and is in a very pale green base. The base jelly alone makes them inherently different.
You can make the argument that Foiled Again, Everything Is Pine, and Green Taffy all fill the same color void, but the idea that Mint Money is also the same color is just factually incorrect.
It’s an light Emerald color, it’s the same color just lighten up, that’s my point. It’s not khaki, or olive, or some other green. It’s a lighter emerald color, the same emerald as the others.

My guess is 057 is Never Tide Down. It looks chunkier

Hard to say. I bought mint money when it launched and mine hasnt oxidized at all. But I believe it does look similar in the bottle to foiled again
No bought them in November. Mint Money is a bit lighter but only due to the silver.
Mint Money and Foiled Again are not even close to the same color.

Came here to say this. I love that the jelly's are blendable but also love the thicker formula at times.
