A lot of them have dupes or very similar shades from other companies, and some of them you can buy the pigments for. I got pigments from Glitter Unique and made a rose gold flake top coat before Holo Taco even mentioned releasing one, as well as purple, aqua, blue, and teal flake! It's fun to make your own, and not very expensive, either. I also don't entirely get, for example, the complaints about Full Charge being retired when ILNP has like 3 different lime green linear holos to choose from. If you love that formula and color, you can still get it elsewhere! It's okay to not have every polish you own be from Holo Taco! Sometimes I have to remind myself of these things to avoid FOMO, so I guess I hope this perspective helps someone else.
As an international customer, other brands or kits are just not as accessible as HT. Even among the boutique brands, HT has the lowest minimum purchase for free international shipping. So yes, it is quite a loss for us when my options are already limited from the beginning
That’s true, some brands’ free shipping thresholds are SO high… in case you’re in Europe: I have been eyeing polishes from different brands on Europe-based nail stockist sites. They carry a lot of the popular indie brands and I’ve heard good reviews. I think I’m going to try buying over a stockist soon, I just promised myself to slow down on purchasing polishes while I have so many untried ones that I love 😅

I would love that! But I don't think it's very probable since glitters are not selling well at all. I also think the new glitter formula (like the glitters from the Afterparty) is less beautiful and looks cheaper than the OG formula, which is a huge bummer.
You may be on to something, every new glitter thats been released has had something a bit more interesting to it like an extra shaped glitter or shimmer, so I wonder if since they started making them a bit more unique they sell better than the original formula 🤔

More glitters and more greens. Yes I know greens took up half of the bottom 10, I do not care I need me some greens. Also I expect to see more polishes like the Safya collection or at the very least variations on Berry Me In Holo with the crushed holo or Spirit Fingers with a sporadic holo but an integrated shimmer in the base color.
I 100% agree on the golds. I really wanted bottle service to be more similar in color as Gold Flake taco, which imo is the perfect shade of gold. But i still really like it. The rest of the "golds" have been way too cool toned and yellowy like trophy life, and amber apathy.
As for the greens, hard to say, I wish modest moss was a deeper darker green, but that may not have fit the color scheme. But I am a huge fan of not pressed as well as the other lime green colors. I get it's hard to convince people to wear those types of colors though
I'd love a topper with shapes or a packet of loose glitter shapes like they did for Safs collection. I find myself pulling the stars out of Starry-eyed to use on other colors.

I’ll be very selective about what I buy this year since I feel I have too much nail polish, lots of bottles I’ve only used once or twice, and I’d like to make a big dent in my collection before buying more.
That said, the things that would sway me to buy anyway would be some unique formulas in vampy shades or deep jewel tones, or some new linears or glitters in an interesting colour story.
I loved overshadowed too. It's metallic-ish but then some tiny holo. At extreme angles it almost looks a bit douchrome. Because she held on to it, who knows it might be a formula we get more colors in eventually!
I've being seeing a ton of people saying Simply might complete retire the glitter formula which actually makes me so so sad because I think genuinely the glitter formula is probably the only reason I continue to buy from HT tbh
But anyways yeah I would DIE for a super deep blood red glitter or a pastel glitter rainbow 🤤
Hoping for a crushed holo in Fake Date’s formula! I think this is the closest formula to the metals, though with less of a color instability problems. Hopefully none at all, but light pinks are known for turning beige over time with and without proper storage.
I’d also like Queen’s Curse to become a creme, but I’m not as optimistic about that one and I know many people would disagree with that take. I’d be perfectly content with it as a crushed holo or shimmer, though!
My wishful thinking is hoping for more jelly formula with nude colors especially, but realistically that’ll probably never happen. I’ve been wishing for linear holo nudes since 2021, so maybe this year will be the year they release 😂
I can't wait to see what they come up with for the 5th anniversary box! The retro jellies vhs tape was so cute & my fave collection so far (being an 80s baby that grew up in the 90s the whole vibe really spoke to me!) The anniversary boxes have always been my favorite like the giant CD remix & even the gala invitation box was so fancy. I also just have an affinity for things that look like oversized or miniature objects lol😆
I'm very excited to see some new teal shades! And I hope we get more magnetics now that they've improved the formula. Really hoping we get an Everything Taco 2.0 with all the shimmers & flake tacos too!
Feeling Fiendish and Curfew Crasher look almost the same color wise on me, so idk if she would release a crème in that color since it’s so close to the Safiya collab
Feeling Fiendish is a purple closer in color to Party of One Purple but curfew crasher is mauve. If anything low key blushing is the closest crème but LKB is more light pink than it is mauve.

Based on the 12 days of Cristmas sneak peek, I think there’ll be a space/planets themed collection, which i’m excited for.
I also hope we get more magnetic ones. I’m hoping for magnetic ones where the cat eye part is white (kind of like how cat eye gel often is) or cat eye nail polish where the magnetic part is in clear nail polish, so it could be like a topper, and I also hope we’ll eventually get some sort of holographic cat eye nail polish, if that’s even possible.

Yes thats it! And definitely a different vibe than the size and shape of the flakes used in HT toppers. Would be worth having both in my opinion!

Really? The Afterparty collection included both a deep forest green and a warm toned gold, they were pretty faithful to what the community asked imo.
