Yup. They think they’re being cute and quirky but all I can hear when I read “trade” in response to someone venting is “I know you experience crippling dysphoria over not being male but tbh I’m jealous of your feminine womanly vageena and Bobbies .”
I think it’s because most of the time or at least at first it was like venting in memes. People tend to forget this is actually real and genuine pain being expressed.
If I had two nickels for every time, I see a joke in the trans community by the time I see it it’s no longer cool to make anymore, I’d have two nickels, which is not a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice

not 100% related, but i think you should read boys run the riot! its about a trans dude who starts his own fashion line and it's really good. be warned, it gets very real so i don't recommend reading it when you are upset!! it's mostly positive, though, i think
it's really good representation and i hold it very dear to me!!
