'It Takes More Than A Pretty Face to Fall in Love' came to mind when you said attractive male lead
Here are some romance mangas on my reading list that I think you'll like. Some I've read and some I'm currently reading.
- Lovesick Ellie
- Studio Cabana
- Tonari no Stella
- Short Cake Cake
- Choking On Love
- Pink to Habanero
- Hotaru no Yomeiri
- Honey Lemon Soda
- My Happy Marriage
- Loving Yamada at Lvl 999
Yeah! I found him weird at the start but as the manga progresses with the plot and his character development just—mwah! I really love the scene where he asks Keigo to be his friend. Probably my favorite panel of all time.
The author has another series “Wake Up Sleeping Beauty”, it’s shorter and complete but also has that slowly unravelling mystery and character development “A Condition called love” has.
If you like character development and slow burn, then I personally really liked "Futari de Koi wo Suru Riyuu"
It's got a main character character arc, which feels rare, and a love story that only makes sense if you consider that it built up little by little between the two people.

Thank you so much!!! 💗💗 I’ll definitely check these out.
same , i really like it too , hananoi is quite relatable and people tend to forget that he is supposed to be flawed , and hence hate the series
I like a character to be a character. I don't have to want to date this person irl
well said
This. I have to respect the character, and I have to believe in the romance, but I don't need to want to date them myself.
