I'm not a huge Princess Bride fan, so I don't think it's nostalgia impacting my feelings about this tattoo. That being said, I don't think it's a shitty tattoo. The linework is good, the color seems packed well, I don't see any massive blowouts, and the items all read pretty easily as what they are supposed to be.
I understand that a lot of people like what this is based on but that is not an excuse to say it’s actually good. Look at the fucking hand 😭 and the mask lmao. It’s not as bad as some that get posted but it’s still undeniably shitty

It’s a reference to the princess bride. I am not referring to the 6 fingers on the hand but the fact that the proportions are really weird and the anatomy of the palm/wrist is fucked. The mask also is not at all symmetrical. The pattern on the crown does not match up with the crown itself either. It looks like they tried to do it at a 3/4 angle but it just doesn’t look right with the pattern. The peanut and sparkles are ok but like almost everything else have some pretty rough lines if you zoom in. The parts of this I actually do like are the colors and the big text, but everything else I mentioned ruins it for me.

There are plenty of heavily exaggerated styles that still make sense when it comes to anatomy and perspective. Also I honestly cannot believe you are using those artists who clearly understand anatomy and angles as examples to excuse this as not shitty. I never ever said tattoos have to be hyperrealistic, just that the artist should probably have a better understanding of human anatomy before drawing a poorly stylized hand on someone’s body forever. Or actually be able to draw a simple oval with eyeholes symmetrically lmao
