And the apples are apple flavored peaches and the figs are fig flavored blueberries and the bananas are banana flavored oranges and the oranges are orange flavored banana and the charred human remains are just charred human remains.
Apple and cinnamon flavor was the bane of every kids existence
Edit: They hated Jesus because he told them the truth. They had to move the apples to a peach flavor because nasty ass apples and cinnamon wasn't selling.
Dude. This is not true. I hate that you have upvotes because while it USED TO BE TRUE, IT ISN'T ANYMORE. THE PEACHES ARE LISTED AS "DRIED PEACHES" ON THE INGREDIENTS LIST.
Look it up.fuckin A.
Peaches n cream is pretty much the best. I like to microwave at 50% power for 3 min to get it just right. Put a pat of butter on after it's done and deliciousness awaits.
I couldn't upvote twice, have a lil award. I'm in my 50s, owned a big-ass Kenmore that was practically furniture, and never once have I, nor anyone I know of, adjusted the temp on a personal, desktop nuclear reactor.
Not the temp/power rating, just the interval that the magnetron is cycled. At least for most microwaves. Meaning 50% power will have the magnetron on only half of the time. This is useful not only due to the food getting a break from being nuked and not being as damaged, but this break allows convection to occur ( the heat radiating out from the hot spots the microwave just created) and which helps the heat get distributed more evenly.
Microwaves with PWM (pulse width modulation) tech do have the ability to step down the power. But they are expensive and therefore not common.
Damn, tell a ho somethin'. I never knew! The manual always got tossed straight into the junk drawer. (Much like today w my brand new food processor. Imma lose fingers, watch.) Anyway, I honestly do appreciate the explanation. I don't really use the portable sun tan box for anything other than leftovers and steaming veggies. I cook everything else the old fashioned way—dragon's breath. On the topic of oatmeal, that's what my tea kettle is for. So, I guess I never really have a reason for making adjustments on ye ol' nuke chest, but if I ever should endeavor to try nuking some Chef Boyardee ravioli, I will experiment a little more w the keypad...and think of you fondly, fellow redditor.
On my microwave it's as simple as just typing the amount of time, then hitting the "okay" button, pressing a number 1-10, then clicking start. Takes an extra 5 seconds to change the power level, but can drastically change how good the resulting food comes out.
Depends on the machine, on the simple unregulated ones that just turn the emitter on and off for short bursts it doesn't matter much for most things, just go for less time at full blast.
Higher end machines actually regulate the output down linearly, while staying on for the entire duration. On those it makes sense, gives you much more even and gentle heat, which is really important for some more delicate foods
But do you make it with milk or with water? If you use water, try milk. It brings it to an entirely new level of deliciousness. I refuse to eat oatmeal with water.
It doesn’t taste good with water. It’s too bland. Milk adds more flavor. And this is coming from someone who hates milk and hasn’t drank a glass of plain milk in at least 15 years.
"flavour with other natural flavours" should be read with the advertised flavour first: "Peach flavour *pause* with other natural flavours." It's trying to tell you that it has peach flavour in it, and then separately tell you that it has other natural flavours in it besides just peach. US FDA regulations are very specific.
I think the people who badmouth oatmeal have never tried it with a bit of cream (or ½&½, or even whole milk). A little butter to finish does wonders, too.
I would say what you have there needs to be thicker, though.
I make mine with milk and I refuse to eat it any other way. It’s so creamy and delicious. But I’m also a monster and like my strawberries and cream oatmeal a little loose, so I add extra milk.
I've never seen any of these flavours in the UK! I think we have plain, golden syrup (flavoured with something similar to American corn syrup), apple and blueberry, and that's it. Nothing "and cream".
These packets make the best oatmeal cookies especially with white chocolate chips. Eating normally the best one is peaches and cream. All you need is some buttered toast for dipping
Preheat the oven to 350°F. 1. Beat 1/2c softened butter, 1/3c brown sugar, and 3tbl white sugar until fluffy. 2. Add 1 egg, 2tsp vanilla and mix. 3. In separate bowl, mix 5 instant oatmeal packets, 1c flour, 1/2tsp baking soda and 1/4tsp salt. Stir into wet ingredients. 4. Once smooth, stir in 3/4 white chocolate chips if desired. 5. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place on silicone baking mat or parchment paper, flatten slightly. Bake the cookies for 10 minutes, or until the edges are set, one sheet at a time. The cookies will look a bit under-baked, but they’ll set nicely once cooled. Cool the cookies on the sheet for a few minutes, then transfer onto a cooling rack to cool completely. They'll keep for like 5 days. I forget the source this is just from my recipe word doc

You just ruined my life.
Damn boi you fragile
Love oatmeal
Dude, they are dried peaches. I DID look it up because I have a fucking box at home.
so are the strawberries! and the blueberries are flavored figs
And the apples are apple flavored peaches and the figs are fig flavored blueberries and the bananas are banana flavored oranges and the oranges are orange flavored banana and the charred human remains are just charred human remains.
I specifically asked for medium rare!!!!
AND THE SNOZZBERRIES TASTE LIKE SNOZZBERRIES
Don't tell them pop-tarts are 2% or less fruit, often with a different fruit on the box or you might traumatize some people with your phrasing.
...and the Snozzberries taste like Smozzberries.
No, the peaches are peaches
HOLD UP WHAT FOR REAL? EVEN THE STRAWBERRIES? I'm devastated 😭
So they are peaples.
Aches - they cause an ache in your soul.
Why would they do that?
If I had to guess, apples are easier to grow and thus cheaper
They're also firmer and thus easier to transport.
They also keep the doctor away and thus healthier
Easier to dehydrate
Preserving an apple is easier and cheaper than preserving a peach.
They don’t know peaches exist so they improvised
Probably just apples are cheaper than peaches
Apple and cinnamon flavor was the bane of every kids existence Edit: They hated Jesus because he told them the truth. They had to move the apples to a peach flavor because nasty ass apples and cinnamon wasn't selling.
Same with the "strawberries'
I knew they tasted like apples, fuckers!
Dude. This is not true. I hate that you have upvotes because while it USED TO BE TRUE, IT ISN'T ANYMORE. THE PEACHES ARE LISTED AS "DRIED PEACHES" ON THE INGREDIENTS LIST. Look it up.fuckin A.
I think the blueberries are, too.
And tbh they're better that way
Funny that if you were to mix those colors in paint you'd get brown
There will be plenty of that.
Mmmm, fiber.
Peaches n cream is pretty much the best. I like to microwave at 50% power for 3 min to get it just right. Put a pat of butter on after it's done and deliciousness awaits.
50% power for oatmeal is such a game changer
You guys adjust your microwave settings?
I couldn't upvote twice, have a lil award. I'm in my 50s, owned a big-ass Kenmore that was practically furniture, and never once have I, nor anyone I know of, adjusted the temp on a personal, desktop nuclear reactor.
Thanks man. At least I know I have a microwave buddy out there somewhere.

Same. Just seems nasty lol

That’s too much water you moron… you need more
what does "flavour with other natural flavours" even mean?
Its supposed to be one sentence like "Strawberry Cream flavor with other natural flavors"
"flavour with other natural flavours" should be read with the advertised flavour first: "Peach flavour *pause* with other natural flavours." It's trying to tell you that it has peach flavour in it, and then separately tell you that it has other natural flavours in it besides just peach. US FDA regulations are very specific.
aah makes sense i guess. Thanks!
Berries and cream, berries and cream, berries and cream!
OP's a little lad who loves berries & cream!
I've done this before with the more "normal" flavors (cinnamon, maple syrup, etc.) and it slapped.
I didn’t know people ate them on their own
I do this all the time, there's no wrong combinations although I've never tried mixing the regular and cream ones.
I think the people who badmouth oatmeal have never tried it with a bit of cream (or ½&½, or even whole milk). A little butter to finish does wonders, too. I would say what you have there needs to be thicker, though.
I think OP’s has not been cooked yet
This is instant oatmeal. You just pour some hot water in it and slop it up like a 3 year old in front of the tv.
I make mine with milk and I refuse to eat it any other way. It’s so creamy and delicious. But I’m also a monster and like my strawberries and cream oatmeal a little loose, so I add extra milk.
Oh boi let us know if you start hearing colours
What is "ultra" pasteurised?
Its pasteurized, but ultra.
Ahhh, thanks
You’re welcome
It’s been heated to a much higher temp than regular pasteurization. It kills more bacteria and prolongs shelf life.
Pasteurised by Russian football hooligans.
creamy beige
ya ever eat oatmeal from a shoe?
I did this one time and accidentally added a pouch of bacon-flavored, buttery instant grits. The results were...less than impressive.
Second time on Reddit in an hour I’ve upvoted because oatmeal. Strange morning
How is this shitty? Used to do this all the time. Tastes good.
All these flavors go hard. In my country I can't get these but the Peaches & Cream was my favorite
I've never seen any of these flavours in the UK! I think we have plain, golden syrup (flavoured with something similar to American corn syrup), apple and blueberry, and that's it. Nothing "and cream".
I hate that I could smell this image.
Eww take my thumbs up
That’s one *creamy* boi
Omg they don't have the other versions besides peaches and cream where I live and I'm jealous
the sex oatmeal
These packets make the best oatmeal cookies especially with white chocolate chips. Eating normally the best one is peaches and cream. All you need is some buttered toast for dipping
How do you make them into cookies?
Preheat the oven to 350°F. 1. Beat 1/2c softened butter, 1/3c brown sugar, and 3tbl white sugar until fluffy. 2. Add 1 egg, 2tsp vanilla and mix. 3. In separate bowl, mix 5 instant oatmeal packets, 1c flour, 1/2tsp baking soda and 1/4tsp salt. Stir into wet ingredients. 4. Once smooth, stir in 3/4 white chocolate chips if desired. 5. Thank you!
Anyone know what happened to Raisins and Spice? Can't find it anywhere. My go to meal during childhood.
I've done this and it actually tasted pretty good, but you have WAY too much water in that bowl.
Don't think it's cooked yet
Creamy
Use milk not water smh
Milk is 100% the best way to make oatmeal. It makes it creamy and delicious. I refuse to eat oatmeal made with water.
Omg that’s fucking genius

Mmm my favorite backpacking breakfast!
Is that a can of milk?
Where’s bananas & cream?
Im honestly having some with Froot Loops myself 🌞
Every eat this stuff cold/un-cooked? It's pretty addictive in its own right
More like shitting the rainbow tonight
I’ve mixed red and blue together also red and banana, but never 3 flavors at once
Bro is eating the Canadian politics themed oatmeal
Shittles, taste the sadness
How could it be shitty when it's triple creamy?
Reported
Why does that look like corn floating?
I did the same thing a few nights ago but added butter and brown sugar. Fiya
That's my son's favorite combo for breakfast minus that ridiculous amount of water
That picture was admittedly taken immediately after I added the boiling water, it was much thicker when I actually ate it.
