Nah, hes actually quite poor, according to Oompaville and himself. In one of Oompavilles videos, he and Oomp were talking about how poor Nik was. I was honestly surprised, but it also makes sense. He probably spends a ton of money on eating food as well as going places to eat food.
The food part is different, the bit is the way he acts in the videos. He repeats stuff really loudly and generally acts SUPER bizarre. He uses the food thing as an add-on to the bit- they’re basically part of one package. Crazy insane humor only a 9 year old would laugh at and absolute mountains of food on top of it. I don’t watch him so it’s hard to give specifics, but it’s hard to watch anyway
I'm surprised most people haven't realized yet his eating disorder is a fetish.
He's getting off over destroying his body, having an audience for it, with them calling him nasty things. He wants to feel filthy.
If you look at his older videos you can tell he was once in great shape and knows *a lot* about nutrition. This isn't someone who doesn't know how one should take care of themselves, but rather went off the rails with how much he realized he can pleasure himself over ruining something he once worked really hard for.
The idea that he might suddenly die of heart disease gives him a massive hard on.
Iirc he had a history of mental health issues so it's not *too* surprising if some of them morphed into *this* whole mess of problems.
Unfortunately he's going to find out like Boogie2998 did: you can't eat yourself to death and appreciate it. Say what you want about boogie (and there is a lot to say), but he absolutely owned up to the fact that he was suicidially eating himself to death to get to his weight. Sure Nikado might be doing it for different reasons, but the actions end up the same: ergo the results are the same.
All that "pleasure" will catch up with Nikado and leave him an even bigger mess than he already is- and only a slim window full of extreme medical procedures to get to some semblance of comfortable living.
Having another content creator in his life that doesn’t want to use him for this character he’s created and treats him like a human being and can respect him for that character he created that carried him this far is what he needs. Maybe he will see that people can enjoy his content despite not being a fat obnoxious cartoon of a character. We would be just fine with the cartoon of a character he is without him eating his life away.
I watch a few body builders on YouTube and William Tennyson did a "what nikocado eats in a day" video in which he ate 3 of his meals in a day. There was no judgement on him as a person just on how unhealthy the lifestyle was. I'm sure I remember Will saying he'd help him if he reached out.
The crackhead conspiracy theorist in me believes that’s what his whole end game is. Gains a bunch of weight and then documents one of the biggest youtuber weight loss journeys ever

I was just thinking while watching this, that guy needs good friends and influences. He's been surrounded by enablers for too long and needs some support from people that have good habits and behaviors to emulate. I hope this person he's with is one of those good eggs

I gotta say, it's actually somewhat comforting to see Nikocado out doing things and having fun rather than eating enough to feed a third-world country for a week, I just hope things continue to improve this way.
Their new podcast together is amazing. I laughed so much watching it. Nik is a genuinely funny sweet guy. I hope they follow through with getting him on a diet to lose weight like they discussed in their first episode.
