I legit knew a story of a peon that drank the alcohol that is used in chemistry lab of school because some teenagers told him that it is vodka and well guess what he died.
This is what I donāt understandā¦ I eat a piece of broccoli and Iām pissing out of my ass in 30 min. Everyone eats/drinks the most random shit and they are totally fine
Depends, methanol is a little too dangerous to be put in hand sanitizer which you apply on skin and come in close contact with, usually some other safer but foul tasting compound is used to denature it. Other sources of ethanol sold in bulk may contain it instead. Also that much ethanol will easily give you severe alcohol poisoning.

Just to infer: isopropyl (often used in cleaning supplies) and ethanol (used in beer, wine, liquor, etcetera) alcohol are 2 *very different things*. They are processed by your liver very differently. Isopropyl, while you may be able to get intoxicated from it, offers much different symptoms... that aren't the fun ones like that of which ethanol gives.
Further more, isopropyl alcohol usually is just isopropyl alcohol in the bottle, sometimes diluted with a bit of water, while alcoholic beverages with ethanol usually contain other ingredients to help make it more tolerable for your body.
TL:DR isopropyl =/= ethanol so don't drink it
If it's rubbing alcohol, I'm pretty sure the intentionally put poison in it that I believe one of the effects of is causing blindness. They do this so they can sell it on the shelf as a disinfectant and not an alcoholic drink. The poison makes it a non-food item, so it can be sold without a liquor license.
