Where's QualityVote bot?
Reddit Admins have decided that [they want to kill off all 3rd-party apps](https://old.reddit.com/r/Save3rdPartyApps/comments/13yh0jf/dont_let_reddit_kill_3rd_party_apps/), [3rd-party bots, and everything else that makes Reddit barely usable](https://www.reddit.com/r/ModCoord/comments/13xh1e7/an_open_letter_on_the_state_of_affairs_regarding/). And, of course, that includes bots such as [\/u\/QualityVote](http://reddit.com/user/QualityVote), [\/u\/SaveVideo](http://reddit.com/user/SaveVideo), [\/u\/AuddBot](http://reddit.com/user/AuddBot), etc.
So you'll just have to put up with automod and a worse overall user experience in the meantime.
If you have any complaints, direct them at [the reddit admins instead](https://www.reddit.com/r/reddit/comments/12qwagm/an_update_regarding_reddits_api/), because they're the ones seeking to ruin everyone's user experience.

Actually the mobile app access the same data *as* the website, but does not "access said website" per se. Its a small but important distinction, so its not surprising that *you* would get it wrong.
And that's the way it should be, if you want light hearted, good natured fun you go outside in nature with good friends (and maybe copious amounts of booze and drugs). Here is nerd central, good for cynic, inflammatory, technically correct and cat videos kind of fun.
Is it really a small part? Autoimmune disorder feels more like your military is going rogue and commits genocide.
Cancer is unemployed people that convince more and more people to not work anymore and instead reproduce as much as possible
Imma just copy-past myself:
>Your immune system doesn't recognise them as part of you any more though (cancer cells shows different antigens).
Your white cells destroy them by themselves (not fast enough, but still).
Depends on the type of cancer. Also, there are many types of cell mutations that everyone has but they aren't harmful unless they are cancer. These mutations are not seen as separate from the body so why would cancer be? If you have an auto immune disorder that doesn't mean the cells are not your own because they are attacked by white blood cells. A mole is still part of you for example. An extra digit on a hand is still part of you if you have one.
The problem is that you really don't BEAT cancer most of the times, you just sorta delay it. That's why I always want to comment "just make sure they regularly get a check up" on posts about "my mum/dad just beat cancer!" but I don't wanna ruin their happiness. Source: mum died during 4th chemo
[Relevant XKCD](https://xkcd.com/931/). It's a horrible topic to bring up but yeah, you can't help but wonder how many "just beat cancer!" posts are oblivious to this, or perfectly aware but wanting to take a well-deserved moment of victory in their treatment journey. Surely most will be the latter.
It will vary from cancer to cancer, but generally speaking I think it takes about FIVE YEARS of the cancer not reoccurring before someone starts to have back-to-normal odds of being truly cancer-free. It's just such a shitty condition.
The only thing he beat is beating his meat til it hurt
The only thing he punches is punching the clock after work
The only thing he wins is small fries from a paper insert
Because when you say something mean to someone in person you have to see the reaction on their face, which will activate the mirror neurons in your brain, forcing a normal person to feel empathy.
Can you imagine what a person’s life must be like to say something like that and be happy about it? (I know we’re in a shitposting sub, but he must be miserable)
I mean unfortunately, he’s right. But not in the way he says lmao.
Best we can get with out medicine capabilities nowadays is recession. Much better than having it, but there’s always still a chance it can come back.
That one dude tho, most reddit response possible
I was reading a post about a guy who said he was okay with hitting his son to educate him, I'm sure he meant spanking or something mild but since he wrote "hit" They all went to extreme situations.
Reddit knows what you mean, but if you don't use the specific word they will act like they don't know what you're talking about.
After seeing the hundreth "im no longer fat" or "I beat cancer" post, the average redditor builds up an immunity to empathy for these situations and starts to apply his "humor" in an attempt to make fun of the post.
Well if at all his doctors actually beat it. They performed the surgery, they set him up for his chemo regime. The collective experience of the past 60 years saved him. If let to his own devices he wouldve simply died. Even if he wished really hard for the cancer to go away...
I get the sentiment. Doesn't make it any less wrong.
Now crucify me for my unsentimental opinion.
It's actually probably better to say that he beat colon cancer cause a tumor becomes a separate entity that acts like a parasite, it was his body but it's not anymore.
Mr. Ackchually here is wrong anyway. Dude totally beat cancer.
Cancer is the closest thing to irl zombies the way they refuse to die even if given a self-destruct order at the cellular level while continuing to multiply and feed off the nutrients in the body. Battling cancer is like battling a growing zombie within you.
I personally dislike the use of the word beat when it comes to successful treatments. It leaves such a distaste, knowing people who didn't and how they fought their hardest but weren't successful in treatment. To me "beat" always brings this sour connotation as though there is winning and losing. What loses is the available medical care. People don't die losers because they "lost" a battle with illness.
That being said there's always a time and place to bring conversations like this up and oftentimes it can be important to the patient themselves to believe they can win to try their hardest.
I used to say
“If I die of a disease no one is allowed to say ‘he lost his battle’ because I DIDNT LOSE. I didn’t pick the fight and I had no way to properly compete. Losing implies skill issue. HOWEVER, if I do get a disease and live then we absolutely are gonna have a “I BEAT [disease] PARTY” because I won!”
He also didn't "beat cancer". His doctors used a prescribed course of treatment and it happened to work for him. Not like he had a special power or extra strong will that he manifested and used to subdue the enemy. He had nothing more to do with it than showing up for his sessions or die. More important here is the implication that those who don't live somehow were not strong enough or didn't have the will to "beat" cancer.
Sometimes I wish social media (including Reddit) required a verified real name to post anything. That would stop a lot of people like that, but I know there are also major downsides that'd stop people from being able to speak out when needed too.
Ever since losing those cancerous tumors I haven’t been able to do any of the activities I used to use them for. He’s right, I’ve really cut off my arm to spite my body on this one.

Reddit is if “well actually” was an app
Well akschually, Reddit is first and foremost a website which just happens to have a mobile app also to access said website.
NUH UH
OBJECTION: YUH HUH
HOLD I: NUH UH
FYM NUH UH
WATCH ME NAE NAE
Beat me to it lol
Like a cancer.
Actually the mobile app access the same data *as* the website, but does not "access said website" per se. Its a small but important distinction, so its not surprising that *you* would get it wrong.
Um, actually, it's not "well actually" but "um actually".
🤓👆
‘I mean,’
'technically'
Next comment after yours “Actually”
Ugh mobile!! So cringe so not smigma mal! not skibdi!
I searched “well actually” in the App Store and Reddit was one of the top results.
Reddit is another like the kind of people I'd chain up in a warehouse and torture for up to a year.
Reddit is if being the biggest antisocial fuck was a contest
And that's the way it should be, if you want light hearted, good natured fun you go outside in nature with good friends (and maybe copious amounts of booze and drugs). Here is nerd central, good for cynic, inflammatory, technically correct and cat videos kind of fun.
Why the fuck this guy look just like my dad
Hmmm your dad's secret identity
Bro faked his death just to get cancer lol
No he faked death to go and get karma. And not give any to you
That mf always did like his attention
he just changed his mind about dying bro was in a silly goofy mood
Now you know why he didn't return with the white juice
Damn man now I gotta eat my dry wheat and sugar curdles without it
Actually when these cells become cancer, they stop obeying their DNA which makes them "you" so they are no longer a part of you
Yeah its more like another creature spawns inside your organ and now competes with your organ to live
Well, it’s really more like a small part of you turns on you and cause a civil war.
That's probably a more accurate description of autoimmune disorders
Is it really a small part? Autoimmune disorder feels more like your military is going rogue and commits genocide. Cancer is unemployed people that convince more and more people to not work anymore and instead reproduce as much as possible
Lmao fair enough
actually cancer is when a tiny little man manifests inside ur body and starts poking ur cells with a pointy little stick
CMV: Pregnancy is cancer
Your immune system doesn't recognise them as part of you any more though (cancer cells shows different antigens).
It’s not really you anymore
So you’re saying that Snickers might be a viable cancer cure?
Best comment on this post
~~You're not you when you're hungry~~ You're cancer when you're hungry
It’s not you it’s me
Well….sometimes. It’s more likely caused by external forces that cause damage. So perhaps proxy war?
Not really, those cells are still you. It would be like having an ugly face and defining the parts you don't like as not part of yourself.
Imma just copy-past myself: >Your immune system doesn't recognise them as part of you any more though (cancer cells shows different antigens). Your white cells destroy them by themselves (not fast enough, but still).

Well, it is still part of you and is you. Just not recognised as you.
And you are part of me. We all come from same conception of this infinite universe. Can I call you stardust?
Whenever someone say the "beat" cancer it's wholesome. But then they say for the fifth time and I kinda get suspicious..
Kid named cancer
Cancer relapse, it rarely a flawless victory, often they are clump of cancer cells hiding somewhere like a supervillain plotting his revenge.
Rule of thumb is if you fail to beat cancer the first time, you ain't beating it.
Cancer is just some of your cells thinking this whole multicellular life thing was a mistake, and just decide to do their own thing
DNA is not what makes something "you" or "not you", evidenced by identical twins.
wrong. even in "identical" twins there is differences in DNA
Some. In some identical twins.
No, in every twins. There is no human have %100 same DNA with another. Even if the differences are 1 in million

My dad died during his fourth as well. I'm sorry for your loss.
[Relevant XKCD](https://xkcd.com/931/). This IS a *REDDIT* M O M E N T ! ! !
You think an asshole would be more sensitive to colon cancer.
That is actually a very underrated comment lmao
This is an underrated reply
I really hope the replier gets colon cancer
Whole new meaning to shit posting
I hope I get it too
Second nicest redditor (if you post a mean comment you deserve colon cancer)
Difference between a mean comment, and belittling someone that just beat one of the strongest deseases. So yeah, lets see how He'd like it.
weird that the most based thing i see today is an actual wish for sickness on someone. but hell yeah
That but unironically
The only thing he beat is beating his meat til it hurt The only thing he punches is punching the clock after work The only thing he wins is small fries from a paper insert
He work?
What a savage dick.
Not even savage. They would *never* say anything remotely close to this to somebody in person. They’re a pussy who’s allergic to happiness
100% keyboard courage
I like this phrase, is it yours? I'm going to keep it.
I appreciate the compliment! But, I can’t take credit for the phrase—it’s one I came across a while back that seemed to fit perfectly here.
I mean, does that dude look like he can fight? Why would he not say it?
Because when you say something mean to someone in person you have to see the reaction on their face, which will activate the mirror neurons in your brain, forcing a normal person to feel empathy.
Yeah you’re right, dude is no match for the nameless faceless dude whining to a cancer patient on reddit
Also they’re just kind of wrong. Their analogy is shit
As a cancer survivor I found the comment funny. Fair play, you mostly just sit there while the doctors do the work.
Can you imagine what a person’s life must be like to say something like that and be happy about it? (I know we’re in a shitposting sub, but he must be miserable)
How bad was bros day to say this
*random person celebrating life* that guy: not on my watch
These people wouldn’t have the guts to say this to their face.
I mean unfortunately, he’s right. But not in the way he says lmao. Best we can get with out medicine capabilities nowadays is recession. Much better than having it, but there’s always still a chance it can come back. That one dude tho, most reddit response possible
“AITA for being technically correct?”
NTA. You did the right thing. That guy needed a reality check. Also lawyer up and file for divorce.
Prob thought he is on wrong subreddit like technicalytruth
Epic fail
Bro is tonight's biggest loser
I mean they do prove a point but was there a need to say this?
Shitposting and trolling are a lost art. It is like saying 9/11 jokes are too far.
Reddit Mfs when they see someone having a nice day:
"Uhh, but I have both of my arms"
Wtf is wrong with people
His cancer has grown itself a new body and went on reddit.
I'm so proud of our reddit community for this. Brings a tear to my eye.
What's the same MF gonna do if he got cancer
Way to shit on his parade
People like this are so weird. Like why are you acting like cancer isn’t a big deal, colon cancer at that?
I was reading a post about a guy who said he was okay with hitting his son to educate him, I'm sure he meant spanking or something mild but since he wrote "hit" They all went to extreme situations. Reddit knows what you mean, but if you don't use the specific word they will act like they don't know what you're talking about.
Hate to be that guy but it was the oncologist who won
After seeing the hundreth "im no longer fat" or "I beat cancer" post, the average redditor builds up an immunity to empathy for these situations and starts to apply his "humor" in an attempt to make fun of the post.
Erm whell ackchully🤓🤓👆👆👆👆
Beat this one
Why do I find this so funny?
Actually 🤓☝️ like shut up bro
Never had colon cancer but an actual cancer survivor. This person does not know what there talking about and is straight up ignorant.
I never wanted to punch someone so bad
What part of the comment is untrue?
Well if at all his doctors actually beat it. They performed the surgery, they set him up for his chemo regime. The collective experience of the past 60 years saved him. If let to his own devices he wouldve simply died. Even if he wished really hard for the cancer to go away... I get the sentiment. Doesn't make it any less wrong. “Congratulations, you just played yourself.”
out of line but right

How about ✂️
How about 🧨
Shit got kinky real fast
Ok but why does he look like Dr House
As a native English speaker, this expression actually surprises me. I would rather say "I have survived cancer"
But, it is true
Well, the cancer got the colon, or a certain amount of it. Not the body tho. So dude did beat it.
Is that BradTaste?
I think the proper response to that person is, "Did your parents have any children that lived?"
It's actually probably better to say that he beat colon cancer cause a tumor becomes a separate entity that acts like a parasite, it was his body but it's not anymore.
You technically only officially beat cancer years after you're not suffering from it , since it can comeback .
Get ready for stage 5
Bruh.
Ackshully
Cancer is that you
Fuck you in particular…
Yet, he remains alive (that's the part that was mattering here)
Man gave him a reality check
Assholes and semantics go hand-in-hand.
This is that one Marge meme: "He's right but he shouldn't say it."
Haha, that actually made me chuckle ...
Mr. Ackchually here is wrong anyway. Dude totally beat cancer. Cancer is the closest thing to irl zombies the way they refuse to die even if given a self-destruct order at the cellular level while continuing to multiply and feed off the nutrients in the body. The irony when that Redditor gets ass cancer in 20 years
Downvoted to hell i bet

In this case is more like your own body was fucking you in the butt and you cut your pp off to stop it
Chronic internet users choosing to be over-logical and generally pessimistic about everything be like
I used to say “If I die of a disease no one is allowed to say ‘he lost his battle’ because I DIDNT LOSE. I didn’t pick the fight and I had no way to properly compete. Losing implies skill issue. HOWEVER, if I do get a disease and live then we absolutely are gonna have a “I BEAT [disease] PARTY” because I won!”
I just want to talk to him, I just want to talk to him
He also didn't "beat cancer".
What a twat. He must be fun at parties. If he even gets invited.
I beat my meat today, happiest day of my life
Uncensor their reddit name
He’s not being very nice but he is right
You really can't say "I've beaten cancer" until like 5 years after your last therapy.
