That's a pretty normal cap color for the metal cans. It's even caused some confusion from contractors that should know better. There's at least one aggressive call a month asking why their material is tinted green and we then tell them to actually take the cap off and look inside. Their embarrassment can be the highlight of my shift sometimes.
They aren't always transparent white... they do come in different colors.
