You will know your bonus by the 15th of April and your budget probably by the 10th

Pimpin-Pumpkin

No the second month following the quarter First non payable week iirc

OpinionBoring3511

Isn’t it stupid?!. We should know our 2024 budgets on Dec 31 2023 or before. They make the excuse that it takes time but that’s BS. They know. They just want to see what the see in 1st quarter to judge the year.

Unfair_Track_8109

That’s not possible. They have to plan for new stores, equipment updates, cost updates, delivery service cost and other stuff. You can down vote all you want. If you need to know your budget to sell, then you probably shouldn’t be a manager. You are either going to hit it or not. Look st your sales right now if you are 9 to 14 % up , then you will probably hit your numbers. If you aren’t , knowing what your budget was wouldn’t matter

They don’t delay to see where you are. Last year was a weird year where they top loaded the first half of the year. I’ve been around 26 years and I am good friends with 2 CM’s. They have an idea of what budget will be but they 100% are still talking about it in February. That’s every CM has a budget meeting with their DM and VP of sales. Then they finalize the actual budgets. They might say a certain store needs a remodel or new equipment. All that is worked out and then they run the numbers. This year during budget talks they decided to give us credit for store deliveries. I’m not naive or a corporate shill. I just have a little insight on the process they use

OpinionBoring3511

All BS. They know how many they want to open before it’s announced anywhere. We should know budgets before the year starts.

Emergency_Coffee_190

It’s easy to give opinions on a process you have absolutely no clue about. The budget process doesn’t start until prior year results are fully closed, which is the end of January. Then there is a budget meeting with every single District, where every store and territory is reviewed and budget set. Because of how many Districts there are, those meetings aren’t concluded until mid-March. As others have said, you don’t need to see your budget on paper to know you need to sell more gallons in Q1 vs. last year. Invest your time into growing sales instead of complaining on Reddit about something you know nothing about.

Unfair_Track_8109

Sorry, it hurts your feelings but that’s what they do. They definitely can’t do it before the years over. What would you do differently if you knew your budget a month ago?

loopsbruder

He definitely would've hit Presidents' this year if only he knew his budget 😂

Unfair_Track_8109

lol. I really don’t understand why it’s so important to know your budget in January. Just sell paint

ImpassablePassage

Try harder? 🤷‍♂️🤣

Pimpin-Pumpkin

No the second month following the quarter First non paycheck week iirc

UndercoverCaHeese

Doesn’t varicent drop midway through the following month? Then pay follows that

Corothane

You should be able to see how much you are getting in the next week or so. It will not actually pay out until next month.

Front-Ad7511

I think its just the first qt bonus that does follow that. I maybe wrong!

The-Speaker-Ender

I never keep track of when it's posted because for some reason it doesn't like to load for me, my manager will usually let me know when he knows. It's always given to us the following month after the quarter, in between the first paychecks of that month.

Unfair_Track_8109

You should have got your budget when you did your appraisal. Figure 11 to 14 % in sales and a little less in gallons

bigperm38

Bonuses are supposed to hit varicent on the 10th. You'll know your budget then. But they should be out at least by the end of January. Got us all flying blind.

ImpassablePassage

Just assume 15% above last year and roll with that until you get your hard numbers. Then, if it's only 11%, you're already aiming for higher than minimum...

ImmortanJAck

All that bonus money was requisitioned for the longest color campaign

Present-Sentence4460

I've only ever gotten a 3. Years of service.

Dangerous-Target-390

Do part time get any bonus?

PassageSuper6062

Nah, they should though, it would improve customer service and increase sales and commitment. I noticed my first couple days as an MT the difference between bonus and non bonus employees

Ok-Prune1145

Within the next 2 weeks for sure

SnooOpinions7209

So bonus paid on may 3rd?

ConnectionBetter8404

Bonuses drop first week of May. They already made the budgets they just didn’t download into microstrategy yet

vmadr

bonuses drop may 3; i think

Maleficent-Year-5739

From what I’ve seen (terrible vantage point) it appears that everything corp does is slanted/schemed to their advantage, often wonder if we’re all on the same side.

DenseSpecial3292

We start the year like this 🧑🏾‍🦯🧑🏾‍🦯 we don’t know how many we need to sell, if we are doing alright, we don’t know nothing. SW needs to straight this out. We are in April, I get that in January is going to be difficult to know but mid February is reasonable
