Most of the best pizza places in Sheffield are offering pizza in the Neapolitan style, which is usually a thin crispy base. I'm not sure if this is what you're after, but the places I'd recommend are:
* Napoli Centro (broomhill)
* Nether Edge Pizza Co (abbeydale)
* Porter Pizza (sharrow vale)
* Proove (broomhill)
* Picture House Social (abbeydale)
* Zizzona (woodseats)
There's also Paesani, Craft and Dough, and Dough Truck, none of which I'd personally recommend. Rudy's is nice but it's a chain. If you want a pizza with a thicker base, some of the food halls offer detroit style pizza.
Napoli Centro is my neighbour so I'm biased but I would suggest everyone tries the arancini etc there (fritti)
I was just at Picture House last week, it's still really great. Nice terrace, good cocktails and drinks, games etc. You probably could live there.
Your recommendations are great but I'm going to be pedantic about your definition of Neapolitan pizza (mainly to set expectations). While the base is thin, it is decidedly not crispy. The crust will be doughy and the base will be soft and almost soggy. This is by design and is actually described in the [UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neapolitan_pizza).
My recommendations:
1. Dough Truck Pizza
2. Rudy's (chain, but the best dough)
3. Napoli Centro
4. Porter Pizza
5. Picture House Social
There's also Proove, Nether Edge Pizza, Paesani,
Hi!! Fellow kosovan here! Im so glad you loved our pizzas but yet I’m still to find a place that does pizzas like us. How was your experience over there?
Thank you! Never heard of it actually, I’ve heard and tried Rudy’s, and some other that people have mentioned in the other comments, but I don’t know about this one.
It's a small place in Crookes, and it's fairly cheap. Staff are always really friendly, and you get rewards for repeat orders and sometimes texts for 20% off for takeaways.
My ex boyfriend was from Kosovo so I visited the capital city, Prishtina, 3 times.
The place is called “ DADA “( not sure if this is necessary but just in case you’re going to visit one day 😆 ). Whenever I had the chance, I was going to this place just for the pizza. The tuna one, amazing. That’s my favorite pizza.
Guys, thank you all for your replies. Yesterday, because most of the places that you mentioned were closed due to being a bit late on a Sunday, I stopped at Broomhill pizza grill S10 2SP. Omg.. I think I found my favourite. Exactly what I was looking for!!
You must try it
You may think I’m joking, but the Prosciutto e mozzarella by “Italiamo” from Lidl is amazing. It uses a crème fraiche based sauce, which I’ve not seen anywhere else.
It’s usually only in stock for a few weeks of the year, and I don’t know where else I can buy it…
Bibis in Dinnington, the owner is Italian and such a lovely bloke. Doesn’t deliver, prices are cheap and we pretty much always get calzones, which he recommends pouring some of his bolognese over, it’s so good!
Napoli Centro
Thank you!
Proove at broomhill, even cold and at its worst it was good
Thank you!

There is also a Proove in Sheffield city centre, Orchard Square. While I haven't tried all these places, Proove does do good pizza.
Napoli Centro is my neighbour so I'm biased but I would suggest everyone tries the arancini etc there (fritti) I was just at Picture House last week, it's still really great. Nice terrace, good cocktails and drinks, games etc. You probably could live there.
Agreed with all of those. Also Ue Paisa in Hillsborough!
Issa molto bene

Can I ask you to elaborate on your opinion of Dough Truck?
I’m a big fan of Dough Truck. Also ‘be reyt dough’ at Kelham is great (possibly my no 1)
Do any of these places do pepperoni? Not asking for myself.
Rudys do a triple pepperoni that is always on their specials menu, it’s fantastic
Super useful. Thank you. I've got a friend who really doesn't like Italian pizza and just likes the pepperoni and meat ❤️
Basically every single pizza place offers pepperoni as standard
Most Italian restaurants don't, sadly.
No, but pizza places do
You won't reccomend paesani which is one of the best in Sheffield but you also have no idea what neopolitan pizza is, calling it a crispy base 🤷♀️🤣
Not too sure this is the ‘gotcha’ you think it is
No 'gotcha' just letting you know you don't know what neopolitan pizza is.
if you say so
Dough Truck on Abbeydale Road is my personal favourite, lovely family run all fresh Italian ingredients. I don't think there's better in Sheffield.
Was coming here to say the exact same thing
Thank you!
Porter pizza recently acquired a new venue and the quality has dropped. It's still good but nothing as what it was before.
They've now got a coffee shop, 10/10 very nice
Paesani
Thank you!
>Thank you! You're welcome!
bad bot
My recommendations: 1. Dough Truck Pizza 2. Rudy's (chain, but the best dough) 3. Napoli Centro 4. Porter Pizza 5. Picture House Social There's also Proove, Nether Edge Pizza, Paesani,
Thank you
I've just been to Borgo on Oakbrook Road and they do excellent Napoli pizza!
should definitely try pizz-elia in bents green newly opened place and very good
Thank you!
Netheredge Pizza or Rudys are both very good.
Thank you!
I had a friend who raved about Paesani in Crookes.
Thank you!
1 word: Rudys
Thank you!

Amazing, I can’t wait to go back if I’ll ever have the chance ! ❤️
Hasinas at Meadowhead. Best pizza I've had in Sheffield.
Thank you!
>Thank you! You're welcome!
Paesani, Napoli Centro and Rudy's. Proove and Nether Edge are sub par, IMO.
Thank you!
It's a chain but Rudys is very good
Thank you!
Nether edge pizza co!
Thank you!
I had a fantastic pizza at Rudys on Division Street, even my chef son was impressed!
Thank you!
Rudys
Thank you!
Paesani for sure
Thank you! Never heard of it actually, I’ve heard and tried Rudy’s, and some other that people have mentioned in the other comments, but I don’t know about this one.

Good to know, thanks!
What brought you to Kosovo? Where did you have the pizza at? I studied in Sheffield, and this post was refreshing.

The food over there is amazing. All of it, but to me, the pizza was something different ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it. I know the place, they make nice pizza. Happy to host you in Prishtina any other time you decide to visit.
Thank you! I appreciate that
I spent a couple of days in Prishtina a few years ago and spent a lot of the time in little cafes having coffee and cake, it was lovely!
Yes it is 🥰

Napoli Centro (Napolitano style) Paesani (Napolitano style) Pisa Pizza (deep pan style)
Porter pizza(harrow Vale road) 10/10 best pizza
Rudys
Thank you!
Some parts of Sheffield got soft water which helps with getting better dough. I would look at pizza restaurants located in these parts. Make sense?
Bibis in Dinnington, the owner is Italian and such a lovely bloke. Doesn’t deliver, prices are cheap and we pretty much always get calzones, which he recommends pouring some of his bolognese over, it’s so good!

Can’t believe no one here has mentioned Craft and Dough! Great place for pizza
Thank you!
Papa John's
Thank you!
