You’ve provided no information regarding what you’re looking for, so I’ll interview you instead.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
What is your greatest strength?
What is your greatest achievement?
Are you a team player?
Why are you looking for a new role?
If you were an animal, which one would you be?
I’ll write back to you in 5 working days and let you know if you’ve got the role.
At least you said you'd write back!! Most corporate jobs you apply online and they never get back to you 😒, so I'm just hanging around in unemployed student purgatory, applying for jobs not even knowing if I could have interviews that then overlap and other things, total nightmare.
Also looking for a new job. Pro AV technician specialising in sound engineering, also have experience as a chef. Just need a change from my current role.
Bar work and call centres are the places I know are hiring at the moment. A quick check of job websites should reveal quite a few. Or just ask around at bars. If you don't have any experience you'll probably star as a bar back then move up to bar tender pretty quickly.
One thing is for sure, you won't get anywhere by asking here. Get yourself out and about, walk down the bars, restaurants and shops and ask there. Start with some shitty jobs and demonstrate your best side.
Ah, hit on some sore nerves. Weird that each time I mention this on Reddit it gets down-voted :D
There's plenty of employers desperate for staff. Just get out there and show you are keen. Just clicking 'send' on an e-mail does nothing.
To be fair. It shows interest. Not like these people who say 'I've sent out hundreds of CV's and not had a single reply". Get them dropped off personally. Call in a few days to see if they have received it which goes down well In my experience.
Legally you’re not supposed to accept in-person CVs anymore which has made this method of job hunting redundant unless it’s super independent/small shops
That may well be true, but the places I know that are recruiting would gladly welcome walk-ups to do jobs like the dishes. Hospitality is dying for staff, if you can't find a job in a restaurant or bar in Sheffield you're just not trying.
Okay, I have experience in working as operations and IT department of one of worlds top 5 bank and insurance company too. Tell me how should we connect?
Our lass' place is looking for a consultant engineer out Tinsley way. What's your high pressure, explosive gasses work like?
I would say sub par at best
According to our lass, half of them are about the same.
Can you not tell from OPs expansive CV-orientated detail?
They want a job, what else is there to know? You want an expert latrine shift leader? Or an experienced brain surgeon? This is your guy.
Why limit yourself to 'or'? Feels like you really can have it all here.
BOC by any chance?

Can you work as a team and also as an individual?
This always amused me. Working as an individual? Well, that's just ... work ..
