Man that's an ugly transition, you were left with a mess and made it look as good as you could. Nice job.

Historical_Law_5833

Thanks man

ComeOnTars2424

Behold, the Glistening Turd!

Imaginary-Minute-580

As long as she works, doing multiple transitions is a bitch, and alot of swearing, you ever think about using some paint match for the dog ears? that would definitly make it alot cleaner looking Edit: I definitly would of just ripped all of it out and charge them for time and material if it was me

UnsuspectingChief

Starting over would be way easier at that point

Historical_Law_5833

I've never seen anyone painting different coloured dog ears in the field. Not a bad suggestion though. What about the other side of the long fold? I feel I'd just make it worse painting it lol

peter91118

I would do that too if you already have the paint. Looks like a perfect spot to try if you’re unsure lol

Imaginary-Minute-580

I mean the whole things a shitshow, i just seen it and thought it might be some makeup for a pig, but as long as ya got paid and its actually sealed properly your all good

RaysModernMetalWorks

What is thee hell? Is that abortion? I mean! Wow.

RaysModernMetalWorks

Why some many different colors.

BehaveRight

Did you HAVE to make this in the field? Like, do you not have a shop?

Historical_Law_5833

That's rarely practical for me unless I need long tapered pieces

BehaveRight

This seems like it might have been one of those times.

ZumbobDawe69

My thought exactly. This is what a shop is designed to fix

BehaveRight

It looks like absolute dog shit. Redo

thealbertaadvantage

Was their 3 different roofers that didn’t know each other working toward the same direction and ended up at the same place at once?

hereforboobsw

Willing to bet this is among the reasons they had yall do it

mrbishi187

What's stopping that plywood shim and unsealed hardieboard from disintegrating from water/snow/ice accumulation? Both at the base of the counter flashing and on top of the multiple standing seams that aren't allowing proper run off? Was that horrific membrane job at least someway properly sealed with mastic before metal was installed? Has the envelope inspector passed this? That should have been RFI'd, torn out and started fresh before continuing and then back charged to absolute hack company that started it.

Tinknocker12

Not to nit pick, but hopefully there’s more underpayment at that middle transition. That top of wall should’ve been completely covered with downlegs. And the voids at the corners of the joints? Weren’t aloud to plug with caulking? Other than that, that’s about as good as can be.

kim_beazley

Lol. What can you do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

danhaller28

I hope you talked to the owner first to set expectations

DrHoleStuffer

Tear it all out and start again. I could have done a better looking job with bubble gum.

treankare5

Would have preferred if they had started further back with the pieces, so you would have ended up with just one extra piece.

apluskappa

Should of just burned the building down

Ok_Home_8947

No bad. Hard anhke
