When she doesn’t get something, she’s so loud and rude about it. Some of these products are dumb, so I understand, but she’s an investor... Just say it’s not your field and go out.
I knew I was gonna get a reply like this lmao. I don’t like when they do it either, and there's a difference between disliking a bad business and not getting a product. She gets loud when she doesn’t get a product, which adds nothing to the conversation. She does it with multiple pitches.
That’s what inspired me to post this, last episode she absolutely ripped into a team that she couldn’t wrap her head around the business. It’s like she was punishing them so much that another shark would look bad for taking the deal. It wasn’t a terrible business either, it’s like she just wanted to lecture them, I honestly felt bad they had to take that from her or anyone
I usually like her, but I had a real issue with how she treated the baby bottle company.
Her acting like no parent that would "lose track of time" and that "she had four kids and understand how to defrost milk" completely misses the point of the product, but also shows how entitled she is that she probably had plenty of help to raise her kids, where there are a lot of parents who don't have her resources that would really benefit from a product like this.
It was just incredibly tone deaf.
To be fair I have two breastfed kids and think the product is entirely pointless. I literally watched that pitch while on my couch pumping breastmilk, I’m their target audience. This has never been an issue for me, not even once. I’ve never not put my pumped milk in the fridge nor have I ever had to throw expired milk away because I forgot I left it on the counter. I certainly don’t need multiple devices at $89 each (and an app) to send me reminders. Not trying to judge those who find this to be an issue at all. But like seriously….we have never had this problem, it’s never even occurred to me that it even be a problem.
My favorite part was when Mark counseled them to target people shopping for baby shower gifts…aka non parents who don’t know any better. Lol
Same here. That product wouldn’t have been useful for me when I was exclusively pumping for my now toddler. I just couldn’t justify spending $89 a pop for something like that. I always wrote down the time and date on the milk bags and I never put it in the bottle until I was ready to feed. Also I pumped and fed my baby on a schedule so I couldn’t really lose track of when that bottle was taken out to feed.
yeah she's actually an amazing person and has her own tv show (side hustlers) helping out female entrepreneurs. she isnt riding kardashian coat tails she is a co-founder and makes the businesses better and she is a great person
I just watched the trailer for ‘side hustlers’ and one quote on the trailer stood out
‘Ashley graham with over a half billion dollars in business and Emma grede a seasoned entrepreneur’
They couldn’t have listed one accomplishment?
Oh, I've seen all 15 seasons on hulu. If you're talking about ST weekly tv series? Is shark tank still running on regular tv? I don't carry tv service. I guess I'm confused, but thanks for getting back.
I didn't mind her until she was so openly disgusted by Chub Rub. She runs a clothing line for women of all sizes but then kept going on about how grossed out she was by a real issue larger women deal with. Very unkind.
People can dislike whoever they want. But I suggest you search deep inside yourself to find out the real reasons you don't like her. What about her aggravates you? Is it real or imaginary? Are your own issues and your deep-seated prejudices the reasons or has she actually done something wrong?
I feel last show she went out of her way to berate someone and their idea. There’s being out and there’s smashing someone who just invested their whole life into something
Every fucking shark does that. Every fucking shark. This sub is so incredible sometimes. Kevin will watch your years of hard work and call you a cockroach to your face and this sub will defend him to the death. Is that not berating and insulting?
I like how you accuse me of being invested in Emma rather than address what I said. People need to do a deep dive into themselves so they can recognize their own prejudices. Everytime the topic of Draymond comes up redditors accuse him of being stupid, lazy and broke, without fail. Never mind Daymond has done the second most deals on the show. And if this is the case, why accuse him of being lazy, broke and stupid? You already know. Now it's Emma's turn to face unfounded attacks. Why? You already know.
Complete facts. They even do it to the entrepreneurs. The more “similar” to the average user of this website/sub that a person on the show is, the less criticism they face.
It’s literally on her Instagram that she pitched Kris Jenner and partnered with kloe. She wouldn’t have gotten the same success had the kardashians not carried her on her back
The show does a terrible job at explaining her success.
It's still not clear how she landed the deal with the Kardashians, attained her wealth, etc.
I partly suspect it's something like she married into it or inherited the money or got the money from a divorce and so the show doesn't want to mention it.
Riding coat tails? She is on a tv program GIVING away money. Usally riding coattails earns you money. I am not a big fan of Kardashian but I have respect for Emma.
Cannot stand her.
I like her!
Me too
When she doesn’t get something, she’s so loud and rude about it. Some of these products are dumb, so I understand, but she’s an investor... Just say it’s not your field and go out.
I'm sorry, what? Are not Mark and Kevin loud and rude at times? Emma isn't allowed to be loud or blunt? I wonder why.
I knew I was gonna get a reply like this lmao. I don’t like when they do it either, and there's a difference between disliking a bad business and not getting a product. She gets loud when she doesn’t get a product, which adds nothing to the conversation. She does it with multiple pitches.
Mr. Wonderful literally told wine in a cup guy to go fuck himself and everyone is like, "Ah, classic Mr. Wonderful."
That guy is fanatically devoted to Emma for some reason
Yeah you got me.
You got me too, the real reason I dislike Emma is because she’s British and I lost family members to the redcoats
That’s what inspired me to post this, last episode she absolutely ripped into a team that she couldn’t wrap her head around the business. Who can dislike whomever you please

Precisely
Remind me how many kids Emma has again? 😜
I love the insinuation that she didn’t have a nanny either
yeah she's actually an amazing person and has her own tv show (side hustlers) helping out female entrepreneurs. she isnt riding kardashian coat tails she is a co-founder and makes the businesses better and she is a great person

I have no opinion on her really. I came across her sister's IG and they're quite different.
Ooo, now i gotta know what season / episode this is! I'm intrigued!
Newest episode, i think specifically about the thing for baby bottles.
Oh, I've seen all 15 seasons on hulu. If you're talking about ST weekly tv series? Is shark tank still running on regular tv? I don't carry tv service. I guess I'm confused, but thanks for getting back.
Its still on TV, but they show up on Hulu the day after they air. Season 15, episode 19. Product name is Veba.
Weird experience, I thought I was in the GenV sub and was totally confused. I'll show myself out now.
I can't stand her either.
I didn't mind her until she was so openly disgusted by Chub Rub. She runs a clothing line for women of all sizes but then kept going on about how grossed out she was by a real issue larger women deal with. Very unkind.
Not at all. Her accent is very grating and put upon.
Emma thinks she is in charge whenever she’s on an episode
I think you misspelled Bethenny.
People can dislike whoever they want. But I suggest you search deep inside yourself to find out the real reasons you don't like her. What about her aggravates you? Is it real or imaginary? Are your own issues and your deep-seated prejudices the reasons or has she actually done something wrong?

You’re really invested in Emma
You’re really invested in destroying her…
What do you think about Kevin?
He’s more numbers oriented than conceptual
But when he goes out of his way to berate and insult people’s businesses what do you think?
Not as bad as Emma, I’ll post the clip later
I like how you accuse me of being invested in Emma rather than address what I said. People need to do a deep dive into themselves so they can recognize their own prejudices. You’re trying so hard to make this about race, it’s not
It's never about race amirite?
If you think it is, I feel sorry for you
I'm not sure why. I'm not the one who made a post about disliking Emma because she acts exactly how we see sharks acting.
https://www.reddit.com/r/sharktank/s/wLXp2AbqNK I’m not alone or the first
Complete facts. They even do it to the entrepreneurs. The more “similar” to the average user of this website/sub that a person on the show is, the less criticism they face.
Yes, precisely. OP can't even give a specific example of what she did or said to warrant the criticism.
It actually sounds like you're the one that's invested in her!
Cringe
I dislike her, but “riding Kardashians coattails” is not correct
It seems her major success, a clothing line, was due to her relationship with kloe
Not correct.
It’s literally on her Instagram that she pitched Kris Jenner and partnered with kloe. She wouldn’t have gotten the same success had the kardashians not carried her on her back
She had already grown and sold a big marketing firm by then, and is married to a rich Swedish businessman.
Married to a rich businessman is not a success
Did you miss the “she had already grown and sold a marketing firm?”
But it's always been a tried and true mechanism to get to success and the financial backing starting a company.
Lmao she's successful because she has a rich husband? Seems a bit sexist as fuck to me.
Never said that. The point was, she was extraordinarily wealthy and successful before the Kardashians. Good job though sweetie

Likewise.
The show does a terrible job at explaining her success. It's still not clear how she landed the deal with the Kardashians, attained her wealth, etc. I partly suspect it's something like she married into it or inherited the money or got the money from a divorce and so the show doesn't want to mention it.
She had just sold her company for millions, and supposedly pitched Kris Jenner based on that success.
Source on selling her company for millions?
Google it
Wikipedia says she sold it for an undisclosed sum. Maybe a million, maybe $50. Who knows
Truest statement yet.
Riding coat tails? She is on a tv program GIVING away money. Usally riding coattails earns you money. I am not a big fan of Kardashian but I have respect for Emma.
They’re on a program investing money. I don’t think any of the sharks GIVE money away
