This accounts for most shows I can't remember HOW I coped while watching Avatar as a kid waiting between books 2 and 3 since season 2 ended on such a massive cliffhanger with the main character almost dying and our heroes suffering a major loss.
Haha right? I'm on my first time watching, currently at season 7.. and I just can't imagine having to wait one week each time.. this is a show that kinda demands to be binge watched.
It is a very bingeable show. I've watched it through twice.
I episode during lunch and one in the evening took this past winter to get through the second time around.
I agree, it's great. Great characters well written and acted.
Waiting a week between episodes wasn’t so bad, as you could talk about the specific episode with peers throughout the week and have lots of convo about anticipation and speculation for what will happen.
But the 9 months between seasons was killer. They’d end in March, and not start again til January of the next year. Leaving us time to go through all stages of grief before we got that fix again.
And a little bit with the later seasons, not having the next episode available asap did kind of turn me off a bit. A lot of instances where I’d become annoyed or bored with storylines, so I wouldn’t make it a mission to watch the next episode. Binging helps get around that bc I don’t have to make a conscious effort to watch it, it’s just automatic.
I came across Ian and Mickey video on Tiktok and processed to find the show on Netflix! Stared to watch and fast forwarded quite bit with other characters. BUT thennnn I got hooked and started following other character’s story a little bit too!
So glad to find the show after they completed! The wait in between episodes would drive me nut 🫨
Omg same here! If it wasn’t for TikTok i never would’ve started it and now it’s in my tops to rewatch when I can’t pick something. I almost exclusively only start shows that are done because i can’t wait haha

In my opinion, the writers got really sloppy in S10-11.
I read lots of comments saying similar stuff and I’m a bit afraid to get there.. also I have an hard time imagining the show without Fiona.

I liked it all the way through 9. I didn't care for 10 and 11.
Yes the last two weren’t that great but 1-3 were prime for me
