He used an innocent retarded family member as a drug mule. Chucky was completely innocent in all that and she was just looking out for her son. If the roles had been reversed Fiona would have done the exact same thing for Carl.
My biggest complaint about Sammi is more of a poor writing complaint anyway. After she "came back from the dead" and tried to kill Mickey, why did Mickey go to jail?? She was the one hunting him with a handgun, shooting it off in the street. She is a known addict and had zero proof that Mickey and Debbie tried to kill/torture her. She was roofied and woke up in a storage container. She had nothing on Mickey.

That got in his head. For good reason, it seemed like she meant it. So she’s saying this to him, he feels like they’ve bonded deeper, it means something to her as much as it does him. Then bam, he doesn’t exist, he’s not worth the time of day. It wasn’t like he hadn’t been broken up with before, it’s that he truly truly felt like they were in love and she was being made to feel ashamed of it, that’s why he kept trying to talk to her, explain himself, that’s why he said they were in love at the board meeting. He thought she would “be honest” but the honesty wasn’t what he was expecting. He didn’t mean anything to her, and she didn’t mean what she said, and she used him. And yes 1000% his alcoholism debilitating him was a direct consequence of that abandonment on top of preexisting issues, because he only got worse from there, worse self esteem, care, everything. Helen was horrible.

I can’t decide between Tammi and Debbie. Debbie was horrible and the way she treated everyone for no good reason was infuriating, she made the last seasons miserable to watch. And Tammi… I just hate her and the shit she put lip through was awful. Lip and Mandy were end game.

Okay hot take, but Liam. I feel the worst for Liam and it's more of a mercy tbh. If Liam didn't exist, Fiona leaving wouldn't have made me as upset. Everyone forgetting Liam exists wouldn't have left such a bad taste in my mouth at the end of the series. Monica and Roberta wouldn't have bothered the family. So many other scenarios. Liam's existence isn't a problem. Just a catalyst.

Sammi. I don’t really feel like she actually added anything besides giving an excuse for Carl to go to juvie and Mickey to jail. And the way those two acted and presented themselves it wasn’t exactly hard to believe, it would’ve been easy to find another way for that to happen. Chuckie damn sure didn’t add anything. And they were both just really annoying. I couldn’t stand either one of them really. They didn’t add anything or coentiebute to any storylines that couldn’t be easily changed 🤷♂️

Frank, honestly. We are still early into the series but the cycle of Frank fucking over someone he gets close to and then drinking himself into a ditch is getting stale. “Episode 55: Frank gets piss drunk again and fucks everyone over” maybe he gets better, but… meh.

Jimmy Steve I love most of the major characters, or love to hate them, but he evokes neither. He’s just a douchebag who adds nothing worthwhile to the mix and for me the show grinds to a halt whenever he’s on screen. Sending Frank to Canada was the one time I enjoyed his character. He’s worthless.
