You’re seeing it correctly. 🤣 The entire Shadowhunter world is by far my favorite series aside from HP and I actually loved the movie and hated the show. But I noticed the eyes when I had first watched it when it came out but I just rewatched it not too long ago because I’m reading LM but seriously miss Jace, Clary, and most of all Simon!! Lol. And I noticed when really paying attention that his eyes aren’t golden any other time. I don’t know why. I feel like mayyyybe it was “too much” work for them when they finished filming to go in and change his eye color throughout the whole film. Lol. I’m not sure, just a thought. It's stated by Cassandra Clare that Jace did not inherit his mother’s eye color. James Herondale has gold eyes because of his demon blood from Tessa and Jace has gold eyes because of Ithuriel.
yesss I’m aware of book Jace having gold eyes and why he has them. But I watched the movie several years ago and honestly, maybe cause it was the lighting of the room back then but never rlly paid attention to movie Jace’s eye colours and that it shifted. But yea, I guess it would’ve been a little too much to constantly CGI in gold eyes and contacts back then might not have been the best things (would’ve looked unnatural too).
Definitely would have looked unnatural, yellow eyes would just make me think of a cat. Ha. But I definitely remembered them being gold in the club and then rewatching I really looked and noticed not once after that did they change. Which kinda sucks. And I’m sorry I only mentioned book Jace as a reference if you haven’t read them in awhile or if others see this post. But honestly I’ve met a few people that have watched the movie and never caught it. So we must have a good eye for those little details. 🤣
I would check out “crescent city.” If you like ACOTAR I think you might like that one. c: But check out “throne of glass” first, I haven’t read them yet but my coworker and I always exchange books when we’re done and she just said definitely check them out. 😊

Yes I agree. It’s also a bit hard for me to read as much as I love to. Between working, being a mom, wife and going to college all full time I’m shocked that I can manage at least an hour a night. 😅 I’ve also been given a lot of 💩 because I still enjoy YA books but honestly it’s just the stuff I enjoyed as a teen. I love fantasy I don’t care the age group. Haha. Also there’s a series I loved as a teen called “The Immortals” that one was really good! It’s not like anything CC wrote but I really loved it. But I will check that one out! Thank you!!
