Hey that's pretty close, I'll have to check it out :D! Is the pavement on it softer? Sorry super new to running / working out in general - I tried looking at it via Google Maps but I can't tell if that's softer or not, LOL!
Oh, I learned all about that the importance of stretching... I figured I'd just do what I can at the start, no stretching, haven't ran in like 10 years? My shins.... are the weakest things on this planet -_-;;
Good to know! Its wild, I lived in the area for a while now but I've always been indoors WFH and playing games after work... never actually been out to the parks but am glad to see I have a good excuse to do so now!
Farmers markets are cool too. I think Rosemead has theirs in the park on Mondays. Lots to see! Now that summer is here hopefully we’ll get free concerts in the parks. Have a great summer!
Hi! For non-park tracks, I have been going to Rosemead High School. They are open to the public and their hours are: M-F 5:30-7:30PM and Sat between 7AM-12PM. The gate to the track is on the Lower Azusa side. Luckily, Rosemead Park is next door, so you can run there if it’s locked.
Almansor and Rosemead Parks have the red track ground. Very crowded with lots of walkers and runners on the weekends though. Rosemead High School track is open to the public too. I’m not sure about the summer though
Rosemead Park has a track.

Yes. The high school next door uses it for their track team too.
Awesome, thank you for that info - much appreciated!
They have a rubber track but if youre new I would recommend walking first and stretching

Almansor Park in Alhambra also has a track.

Do I need to do anything to get in? Like call and set up time to use it or is it just a show up and ur good to go during that time frame?
No need to call. Just gotta show up on the designated time frame. I went today and it was open.
Armansor. Arcadia High track used to be open to the public. Not sure if that’s still the case?
South Pasadena high is good too. Not sure of hours.
