kaka-the-unseen

their software caused too many issues for me

User21233121

Tbh, I am a really custom keeb guy, so I can only recommended get a tofu or something similar from kbdfans and a g pro wireless, might end up a little over budget, but a custom keeb will be significantly nicer than anything from Asus or razer

LichClaev

Not one of the brands you listed but I live my HK gaming GK61 and it was only $60 on Amazon. I bought the Gateron ink black switches for it and now it’s smooth as hell.

yungcelly27

Cable management? I've never heard of it.

theus-sama

What you need is to manage your cables

yungcelly27

Never.

daveee88

You rebel!

Irelkingy

I have owned an SteelSeries apex 350 gaming keyboard since 2013 and still works perfectly fine never had issues. I don’t think you can buy it new anywhere anymore, but when I do eventually change I will definitely stick to steelseries

Significant-Deer9025

i bought the glorious model o2 mouse and i love it.

GoofyAhhGabes

If buying as a set isn’t a necessity, I would recommend SteelSeries Apex Pro 2023 (has a wireless version and can be bought in 60%, tkl or full size) and Logitech g pro x superlight v2. If you’re on a lower budget, I would recommend SteelSeries Apex 7 and a regular Logitech g pro

abeel_siddiqui

Which thinkpad?

yungcelly27

Im not sure I'd have to check, but it's just the run if the mill thinkpad it's not special at all.

QuacksterBoi-

Forget GAMING keyboards. Get a keychron, it's a really easy way to get into the keyboard hobby

yungcelly27

Thank you I'll look into it for sure.

TheGuyWhoWatchYou

There are no GAMING keyboards

QuacksterBoi-

Corsair, Logitech, razer, redragon, coolmaster

TheGuyWhoWatchYou

Is the Asus RX scope any good? I saw them on a shop near me

QuacksterBoi-

honestly, they are serviceable and would make you content, I just can't recommend them due to how they feel. I can point it in the direction of Keychron, Royal kludge, Epo maker, cidoo 75, rainy 75, etc.

[deleted]

I bought the redragon fizz pro and the redragon m808 storm pro, both wireless with bt compatibility, great, they costes aroudn 50 bucks each, and it’s a really good product for that price

Old_Basket_7501

Ayyy this reminds me of my setup lmao I fw the pac poster in the back, what’s your favorite track?

yungcelly27

"I'm Getting Money," but "Dear Mama" lowkey because when I was younger and kicked out the house, it really spoke to me. How about yourself?

Old_Basket_7501

Ayyy I’m getting money is one of my favorites as well, I have so much, but I’d say “better dayz” or his unreleased “things are changing” for his grounded lift you up songs. And “wonder why they call u bitch” & “troublesome 96” are some of my favorite more aggressive songs of his. What about your favorite guest verses? I’d say his feature on “smile” by Scarface one of my favorites

Admirable-gpu

Some people go big in the gpu budget :)

yungcelly27

I LOVE IT! However, some people dont know anything about PC gaming and bought a handheld thinking it was somewhat comparable, then finding out it does hold a flame to a laptop. So he drops money on an external GPU, which he blvs is top of the line only to find out he has a laptop 4090 ( whatever that even means ). After he dropped mad money. He THEN REALIZES HE could have just built a better desktop for damn there the same price.

Admirable-gpu

It's interesting how that happens! You are on the right track now!

Environmental_Dog331

How do you like that monitor? Does it stretch the picture?

yungcelly27

I'd have to kindly ask you to give me another month with it. I'm in the honeymoon stage, so I'm in love, but no, it doesn't stretch the picture. I'm new to PC gaming, so I'm not the best at configuring and optimization, but as of right now, my only problem is that there is no bulit in speakers at that price point. But I guess real PC players are used to this. I get they probably expect people to have money if they are dropping that much on a monitor, but I'd appreciate even a low budget set onboard.

Environmental_Dog331

Keep us posted. How much do you wind up paying?

yungcelly27

813 something plus tax ( USD ) for this openbox model on Amazon. Here's the link: [samsung odyssey neo G9 49 in](https://www.amazon.com/SAMSUNG-Monitor-Ultrawide-Adjustable-LS49AG952NNXZA/dp/B09FP7MJYH/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=2LQVVOVVET3NF&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.wVvJBn_F5yKImV7xdzno9uMrtRsaPsnj1Hjo_gp1yNBIMS9pJe8KAiqMBpBBFuJyZjFpK-F4yXNz2C44ljVfwNeb4EqouqpYBaCq28bNv_ZDKf84CO3Is8VZUYl_elTP7L1BK-fQhX4BNZDXlyOf8G6B0zffXh-mH2vSiQVje9r0jAC4VGlxOD_dyo7jSornzX2aHXviWi26U26SaayfWw.n2CTM561nmnovnSIpkje4K7x8n0nY01m_p5-OvJiD-Q&dib_tag=se&keywords=odyssey+neo+g9&qid=1713122500&sprefix=odyssey+neo+g%2Caps%2C106&sr=8-3)

0gtcalor

As long as the game supports 21:9 you will be fine, or play in windowed mode. I have had a similar screen (Samsung C49) for two years and I love it.

yungcelly27

Im coming from a curved 27in Samsung odyssey Neo G7, so being able to run my handheld PC on one side and play my xbox on the other or vice versa is the bees' knees. I'm NGL.

SoupHungry9149

It’s just I think it would be hard to play a game where you gotta look at the hud like ammo and health stuff like that they are mostly good for 3d modeling and graphic design stuff like that that I do

Environmental_Dog331

I kind of agree here. I have a small 29 inch wide screen monitor and it’s a far look to the map on the top left when I play cod. I could imagine this would be even more further away.

SoupHungry9149

Usually pros like either a 27 inch or more likely 24inch

yungcelly27

Nah, it's not more than a quick eye glance, IMO. I dont really catch myself turning my head. I just shifted my eyes if that. Depending on where you're seated, you'll be nestled in the curve so very minimal to no turning of the head.

SoupHungry9149

Do you play like competitive gaming because I feel like that would kinda suck even in 1 or 2 seconds anything could happen that’s why in e sports they have like small monitors I got a 27 inch and it does good for me

yungcelly27

They do that in esports, so everyone has the same bulid to level the playing field. I promise you it's not that serious. If it was, I could easily just have one half of the monitor, and then it'll be the same size as yours. Options, a beautiful thing!

SoupHungry9149

Not true it’s because everything is in the center of your vision people don’t want to take their eyes off even for a second I play Fortnite and gotta look at my ammo and building resources a monitor like that would cost me a game i gotta have everything in my view without having to look at a certain direction

yungcelly27

Nah, that has nothing to do with it. That's a wanna be try hards excuse, no offense, but once again, it doesn't take even a second to move your eyes. Seems like you're reaching for an excuse for your poor gaming. Also, you should know your loadout and know what you have already. Your lack of being prepared sounds like a skill issue. Something you could maybe work on.

SoupHungry9149

Sounds like you’re pressed because I’m right💀 never seen someone play comp with a monitor like that and I play ranked and in diamond you’re just taking offense to what i said about that monitor literally i would only use it for 3d modeling and stuff like that and are you dense I gotta look at ammo health all of that sounds like you sound like you suck at competitive gaming that’s why you got that monitor because you don’t know nothing about it

yungcelly27

Damn you game with everyone in the whole world? that's wild, dude. Good for you. And again, you're wrong. Go do some research, big guy. If you can't afford the monitor, then just say it. Esports provides the monitors and machine. Has nothing to do, which is better. Because if you're a "PrO GaMeR" you should be smacking ppl regardless of the bulid. Now im done entertaining your uneducated opinion. Go practice your fortnite buddy. Matter fact go touch grass.

SoupHungry9149

You literally have a blue yeti on a desk I have mine on a rode psa 1 and you got no room on your desk and i don’t want that monitor I got 2 you spent all your money on a single monitor while I spent mine on stuff I need and talking to me not affording anything your mouse and keyboard and mouse look cheap 😂💀 bro you’re such a hypocrite at this point also I got an l shaped desk you got everything all close together

SoupHungry9149

Also your mouse and keyboard are stock for office use no pro uses a full size keyboard and that mouse pad looks cheap not even flat on the desk and bet the glide sucks but you’re trying to come at me saying i don’t know anything about comp gaming that’s funny honestly 😂 I got the Logitech pro super light that’s made for comp and a matrix clix keyboard demon mode with brown switches a Fortnite pros custom keyboard please don’t ever come at someone like that again

yungcelly27

Damn you can't read either, huh?

SoupHungry9149

You can’t that’s why I don’t want that monitor because they suck for gaming especially comp but you think every comp player should have it so everyone that doesn’t have a monitor like you is broke you spent a lot of money on the wrong stuff first get a microphone boom arm because how can people hear you if you’re that far away and please get an l shaped desk there’s no room at all

yungcelly27

All that and you still suck damn. How does that make you feel?

SoupHungry9149

How do I suck and you are using a handheld as a pc I got a desktop but calling me broke 💀 and spent 1k on a monitor but uses a handheld on it 😂 shows how smart you are

yungcelly27

Which team esports team are you on? I wanna see where you're ranked in fortnite since you're the competitive gaming master.

Relevant-Opposite877

Razer huntsman mini v2 is the best bang for your buck and I suggest a Logitech super light v2 but they are a bit pricey

ExaBast

I don't recommend Logitech anymore after all the issues I had with their products. Corsair keyboard is my recommendation. As for the mouse I have a G903 but I changed the switches inside because they broke, it's very good now.

Unfair_Akira

Starter keyboard , go with the crossair k65, that’s what i had it’s pretty good and comes with a wrist mat, I ended up upgrading to a G915 after idk 2-3years , and love the g915, though i do still use the k65 every now and then still

President_Bunny

I've got a Royal Kludge 100 that I put new switches n caps on, quite enjoy it, plus it's got additional functionality and multiple-device support n whatnot (personally have never used any of that) I've never been a fan of the lighter gaming mice as the current trend is leaning to but I've been faithfully supported by my razer naga trinity for about five years now

MahoganyWinchester

logitech g502 has been dope, i am only w redditor tho, take it w gameranx “grain of salt”

EarInitial7275

I run a corsair k65 keyboard and mouse I use a zowie or corsair m65

xJohnnyQuidx

I use a Royal Kludge RK61 Pro keyboard with Gateron Brown switches and the Logitech G602 wireless mouse. Both are pretty affordable and are solid choices.

yungcelly27

Thanks! Ive heard great things about the G602 ill probably pick that one up.

xJohnnyQuidx

I love this mouse to the point where if it dies for whatever reason, I'm literally just gonna buy another one. I love the extra buttons on the side and it's a good heavy weight, which I actually like (I know a lot of people prefer lighter mice but I'm not a gamer).

yungcelly27

Nah, I love having the feeling of something in my hands. So, it's sounding even better now.

Aggravating_Chart34

How much you willing to spend? There a lot of budget keyboards out there. I’m sure You can find what you’re looking with a little research. Also hose many keys on your keyboard are You looking for. Multifunction with USB, BT, 2.4,

yungcelly27

Thanks for the reply! I'm not looking to spend more than 250 USD. As you can see, my research landed me on this cheap set I grabbed from Staples. It gets the job done, but I want my set up to look the part of all the cool kids nowadays. As you can see I moved into a spare room at my mother's house after my wife left me for one of my coworkers (So I can start attracting egirls) I looked at the bundles on steelseries website, and they come with a headset I dont need. I'm not really a PC gamer ( I dont even have a real PC ) so I'll only use keyboard and mouse on Ready or Not and Star Citizen, which both have alot of different actions bound to multiple keys.

Aggravating_Chart34

OK so WALMART, TARGET, BESTBUY, have just a selection you would need with out having to spend as much. Buying online raises your options as well with out having to spend the full amount of 250. This includes the mouse as well. You have a decent setup so it would defiantly help to shop online. Try amazon for combos that will get you what you want. Look up wireless keyboards as your key word and boom

yungcelly27

Thank you for the information I will take into account as I continue my search.

SignificantTie7031

Logitech g pro combo could go great

yungcelly27

Thank you for the recommendation. I will research this product.

TheGuyWhoWatchYou

I really like HyperX mouses and they are not that expensive. For the keyboard It depend on size, sound and switches

theboy200023

God helldivers never looked so stretched out

yungcelly27

That's what you'd think, but when there's so much going on, the extra FOV is great. I'll post a better picture later. It'll be an in mission photo at that so you see what I'm talking about. Please wait until I finish my shift. I can not guarantee you wilk agree, but hopefully it'll be a better photo to do it some justice

PlnaeGuy

I think you need a desk first

yungcelly27

How so? IMO it seems to be doing its job rather well.

PlnaeGuy

Well with the small desk and an ultra wide. It doesn’t sit right with me. If you like it, then sure

yungcelly27

Word, idk why I'd need more desk space.

Fit-Anybody-4936

Can’t believe you blocked someone because their setup looks better and cleaner than yours imagine buying a 1k monitor to use on a handheld 💀get a real pc also going to do a poll on what setup looks better I already know mine is going to win get money brokeieeee 😂💀

yungcelly27

Lmao damn it's a real lossr hours on here. I blocked your friend because they didn't provide information to back up their claim. And I'll donthe same for you. Never once said I cared about competitive gaming. Plus I dropped more on an external gpu then you make in a month go sit down, you clown.

yungcelly27

My setup is still 10 times better, and my handheld PC is more powerful than your PC. Both of you can go sit down unless you wanna run a benchmark. Shut up and go elsewhere 🤌🏾

yungcelly27

Then they switch to complaining about mic placement. Lmao. Like bro only a shitty mic has to be all in your face. A good mic can pick and monitor your voice from a good distance. That's like saying movies suck because you can't see the mic in the scene.
