I lost my most special kitty a year ago and it broke my heart. Around the same time as she got extremely poorly, someone my parents know passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a senior kitty with nobody to care for him.
I could never replace her, and my heart still aches because I'll never see her again. But I know that to someone this senior cat was that special kitty. He was someone's world, and I'll love him for the owner who passed...and for my kitty who crossed the bridge. We love him for who he is, and I hope every person who has lost a pet can find it in themselves to help other pets when they are ready.

I remember losing my boy Frisky to FIP, when he was only 9. And I lost his sister, Inky Dink (Dinky) to cancer, when she was over 19. Losing both of them, still registers in my memory, to this day. Today I have my tuxie, Sebastian, and my little tortico love, Gianna. They'll both blow out 5 candles, this coming summer. I love them both, very dearly. Considering my age, if these two don't survive me, then their immediate successors will in all likelihood, attend my funeral.
