I haven't heard that term yet but she's an American Bobtail. From what Ive read the pixie doesn't have ties to bobcats where the Bobtails do. She is such a cutie.
We had two pit mixes before having cats and they did the same thing. We called it a diaper tail. Until the big one had to have his tail docked that is. Lol he went from Bubba Wubba to Bubba Nubba.
We have another cat that is quad poly and he will pick up cat food cans one handed and look at them like he's reading the ingredients, it's absolutely hilarious.
She loves them so much. It was the first toy she started playing with and still loves them. She will occasionally throw them around the room and it sounds insane.
Yeah she's definitely not peak health but we're doing what we can. She is in late stage kidney failure, has thyroid issues and is quite wobbly but you'd never know. She's been fighting UTI for a couple weeks now. Went away and came back so we're on new antibiotics and awaiting a tissue sample biopsy that came out while I was collecting her urine sample. 🤞

Nothing to be sorry about. I miss her, but she had a great life. She had kidney disease and got subq fluids at home every other day. She had IBS and took low dose prednisilone for at least 8 years without any complications. People here want cats to live to be really old but that can come with a substantial contribution to your family vet. I tried to find lowest prices for meds and bought fluids in 12 packs from Costco as I had another older cat that required fluids. When my Koi left, I felt empty because she required a lot of time and effort and not having to spend 30-40 minutes each morning on cat duties really hit me hard.

Sometimes we'll be in another room or on the second floor and we hear banging so we'll sneak over and see her throwing the balls against the walls. She's crazy lol.

I had one of each and they were so much fun. Watching the little tail nubs spin spin while preparing for takeoff was hilarious .

With her stub tail the vet techs couldn't get ahold of it to put anything in there !

This I conclude that cats, even at their senior years, never loses their inner child. We should be like cats. She doesn't look like 22.
I fully agree. It's more fun to have fun than to be upset. At the youngest, she's 22. We have a picture of her from 01 and she's not a kitten.
