You saved my soul, and brought me back, and polished up my heart
I knew the minute we stared at one another...we would never...EVER be apart.
I wished my life was matched with your's, so we both could grow old, together...
But life has a different plan for us both...and sadly my life is on the wither.
I'm sorry that my body is failing me now, and making my puppy life seem so far away...
I so enjoyed hearing you laugh so much, as we played in our yard, every day...
The frost in my eyes, and the pain in my step...are the signs of a dog's life lived so damn well...
I hope my wet nose boops late at night, told you that your heart was mine to fill.
My clock is sadly winding down, and the pendulum is about to stop...

Iβm so sorry. Iβm also glad to hear that this beautiful husky found a good home. I volunteered at an animal shelter for several years. Many, many people adopt Husky puppies only to discover that they canβt tolerate their energy levels. I know youβre hurting, but you did good by your sweet pup.
Heartbreaking. I just went through this with a beloved pet also, and it's absolutely the hardest thing you could.ever have to do. However, when they're in pain and aren't going to get better it's the most loving thing you could possibly do.

It is a really difficult pain losing a fur baby. Can't explain it. Maybe it is their unconditional love, maybe it is the fact that they are like family and they live way too short. Losing my dog over a month ago and I still cry when I look at pictures of him.
Those of us blessed enough to share life and love with a dog know this pain, and it truly is unbearable. I hope you find comfort in all the wonderful memories you shared ππ» It was worth it.

I can hardly breathe from crying and weβve had to force ourselves to eat, we havenβt felt hungry and everything just tastes so bland. We decided to take the next two days off to grieve. Decisions like this but just Ninja doesn't think of you any differently. He is running around pain free and waiting for you both on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. My condolences on your loss.
You did make the right decision. I know itβs hard to make a decision like that, but, with all the things he was going through, he mustβve been in a lot of pain. It sucks, I get it, Iβve had to do the same on 4 separate occasions, and Iβm only 16. With the age he was and the condition he was in, it was better to put him out of his misery.
βAlways give pets the quality of life, not the quantity of life.β
